IHOP is what it is. Unfortunately, I had two kids hankerin for a hunk of chocolate pancakes, so... off to IHOP we went. Went after the morning rush, so we were seated right away. Were served our drinks soon thereafter, as well as gave our orders. One teen got the chocolate pancakes with chocolate chips and a side of bacon, while the other got the red velvet pancakes with a side of bacon (oh, to have a teenager's metabolism again!). Both had juice. I thought I would change it up a little (warning, Will Robinson!) and ordered the Country Omelette with coffee and OJ. Not sure why, but it took 2 1/3 cups of coffee (which is apparently how many are in the carafe one gets) and a regular orange juice to get our food. The kids devoured their cakes, which is great. My "delicious blend of ham, cheese, fresh onions and hash browns is topped off just right -- with a dollop of sour cream" had more raw onions in it than egg. It became almost comical (almost) to see how big the pile of onions were on my plate after I pushed 1/2 of them to the side.

I've been here several times before across many states. Even on a Saturday morning, the wait for party of six was only a few minutes. We received our food in good time as well. Our server in particular was excellent, projecting competence and warmth very naturally, and was just very pleasant overall.

I don't expect much from IHOP. It's a basic breakfast place. But....I do expect service to not take FOREVER. After waiting 10 minutes after being seated and watching server after server walk by, we flagged one down and asked for some coffee and help. An annoyance, but resulted in our server promptly stopping by, taking our order and assuring us she'd put it in right away. So we drank coffee and visited and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. After a half hour we said screw it and cut our losses, left money on the table for coffee, and headed to Old Chicago for beers and lunch (since our wait had transitioned from a brunch hour to happy hour).

The flatware and coffee cup was dirty. I get that you're a chain but take some pride in what you do. Would not go to this spot again.

DO NOT OREDER SWEET TEA. It isn't sweet, and to add insult to injury it isn't iced. Warm and bitter doesn't taste good at all. After using three sugars packets with no effect I gave up and quit drinking it. In conclusion is you like warm and bitter and hate all things good, order sweet tea.

For breakfast it can be crazy busy and service can be hit or miss, however in general I have always had yummy breakfasts here. Also nice they are open 24hours a day, not many places in town are.

Katie our server was the sweetest young lady and she was great at customer service. I would definitely go back to this location, even though I think it needs some remodeling.

It was about your normal experience at IHOP. Nothing really to rave about. Service was slow and had to send the bacon back to get cooked a little more... Not the worst experience, but not the best either. I would come to this IHOP if you don't have much going on or maybe a late night breakfast.

Healthy breakfast option, hard to mess up egg whites and turkey bacon. Staff was friendly, and our food was quick.

We stopped in on a day when someone must have no showed. Not sure if it was a waiter, host, or busser. But the anxious crowd of people waiting informed us as we wait for a table of two. The wait really wasn't bad considering the situation...10 maybe 15 minutes. We ordered right away to combat any potential delay. I had the Fiesta Omlette, which is becoming a favorite of mine. Overall, the food was decent.

Best thing: leaving the building. Worst thing: long wait for food. It was cold in the building. It was slow during our visit, there was only two other tables but somehow took a long time to get our drinks. We had 5 in our group. Took a little over a half hour to get our food, which was 4 omelettes, an order of french toast, and hash browns. Ridiculous! We finally got our food, which was also disappointing. My hash browns were overcooked, no butter on the toast and the chorizo fiesta omelette was very meh and not good. The others in my group weren't impressed either and none of us finished our food. I'd say try Perkins or Denny's, this place is a waste of time and money.

THIS IHOP IS THE WORST EVER!!!! We waited like 30-45 mins to have our order taken, the restaurant was dead so there was no excuse for the delay. Not happy at all..

I stopped in for an 8p dinner with a couple friends. They were a bit short on staff at that hour, but I can understand that 3 people would handle an entire restaurant that seats 216+ when the hours start getting later. The strawberry pancakes, delicious. No complaints. The sirloin tips w/mushrooms, onions, hash browns, sourdough bread, and two eggs - good, with the steak sauce cooked right into the sirloin tips, good for them, added some sweet tastes. Side of ham in-bone... big, and a bit salty, but acceptable. The balsamic chicken, though, a disappointment. Undercooked the first time they served us, and then the fruit was cut so close to the rind that it was crunchy and tasteless. Could've been much much better. Overall, not bad, and clean, and relatively swift for the staff size, responsive at the check time and getting a box for food to go.

I've been to this IHOP in Fargo three times since most of the restaurant around this area closed around 10 or before midnight and I just happen to like a nice meal sometime at night. I find this place very enjoyable. Its clean, got great meals and absolutely delicious. I try the sirloin tip and loves it. I also try the balsamic chicken and its awesome. So far I haven't found a meal that I didnt like. I love their caramel banana dessert too. Its absolutely to die for. All and all, I love their service, their food and their dessert. But again my review was based on after midnight experience when they do not have any traffic. Don't take my words for it but its probably the nicest restaurant to go to for a late night dinner or early brunch cos I hate Dennys.
