    Today I had a coupon for a free Bacon waffle if you spent $4.99 which wasn't hard to do with 2 of us. The bacon waffle was so delicious the flavors just popped in your mouth. The bacon on top of waffle and on the were done to perffection in my world they were crispy goodness. My grits were good they were not cold and lumpy this time around. Emily our serve was exceptional good she was on top of things.

    Dirty, slow, and only 1 of the 6 people there seemed to be working. I love Huddle House. But this one is to be avoided at all costs. Look at the other 1 star reviews. I would give this place lower stars if I could.

    We have been here for an hour now. When we came in there was 8 dirty tables and none clean to sit at. We had to clean our own table. It took 20 minutes before a waitress even came to our table and took our drink and food order. And we are currently still waiting for our food. There has been 2 different groups of people who sat down and waited over 20 minutes and had no waitress come to help them. They all left. There is now 2 tables that have been here for for 15 minutes and no service yet. I've done customer service for many years and if I treated my customers like this I would of been fired!!!!! This is the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life!!!! If your in a rush to eat DO NOT come here!!!!!

    Want to agree with all the issues raised with all the one star reviews. Plus, they appear to have 12 year old children working there. Horrible service, filthy facility, bad food. Waitress slipped on liquid spilled on the floor, but never cleaned it up. Also commented on the small tip I wrote in on the slip. Never going back.

    The Huddle House is cheap and has extra large portions. This is a Man's restaurant. Trucker size meals. The other nice thing is that it's always open. I've eaten here many times in the last couple years and everything has been great. They also will make anything any way you want....hence my picture of stuffed hasbrowns made from a combination of 3 different mesls....

    My friend and I both came in and seated ourselves. We waited 10 minutes to get our drinks then had to tell the waitress we had not even placed an order after having waited enough time to finish our drinks. Poor service.

    I have been here 4 times in 6 months and every time, without fail, the service is crap and the place is a mess. I was in there about a week ago and as I walked in I counted 15 tables that were dirty and cluttered with used dishes. At that time there were only 4 tables with customers seated. Are you kidding me??

    PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU EAT AT THIS DUMP!!!!!! One star for this restaurant is one too many. Be careful when you first walk in because the floor is so greasy you slip every step you take, it's easier to walk on ice. You have no idea to seat yourself because it's not posted and the staff just walks around you. We had to sit at a dirty table and once we did it took 45 minutes to get it wiped off and that was because I asked for a towel to do it myself. We waited for 45 minutes for someone to take our order and during that time this is what happened around us. A table of six got their order and half of the food was wrong so they sent it back. After the food returned one of the customers sent it back because it was stone cold and no one at the table received toast with the food. The customer finally got his meal but still no one had gotten their toast so they asked for it again. By the time everyone finished eating they got their toast but only because they asked for it again. So while they were paying for the meal the busboy was standing behind the counter watching while 8 tables sit dirty. It took a customer asking for a table to be cleaned just to get him to do it and he only did that one table. It finally got our meal, 45 minutes after we had ordered, and it was cold and not even close to what was ordered. Three of the meals came with 3 eggs each but what we got was maybe 4 eggs scrambled and divided on three plates. Just like every table around us we had to ask for the toast and when we got it the toast was so cold the butter was not melted. I can take all my bad experiences and combine them and it still will not beat this one.

    Wow! What can I say about the Huddle House? Nothing good. Me and a friend went for lunch, we walked in and somebody yelled "seat yourself". We went to one side and there was not one clean table so went went to the other side and I grabbed a napkin and wiped it down the best I could. We get our menus and place our order and while my friend was placing the order the waitress decided to sit down and take a break. It was very odd. My friend ordered a soda with her meal and did not get it until her meal came out, which was also very weird. We received are sandwiches and the cook yells over to the waitress if we want the rest of the toppings for them. They served our sandwiches incomplete. We received our bill and I was paying by check card and the waitress made me fill it out completely with tip before she would leave the table. All in all it was a very weird experience with so-so food. Will not ever go to the Huddle House ever again.

    We have eaten here a few times. Generally the food is good but the service is horrible. The visit previous to Sunday's, the food was awful. We both had breakfasts which looked like they were cooked by two different people. My husband's meal was fine. Mine, not so much. How can you possibly serve toast that doesn't even have any toast marks on it? It was basically slightly warm bread. The hash browns should have been called hash burnts, extremely overcooked. Same with my eggs, not over medium, they were over beyond well done. Since our waitress never came back to check on us, I really couldn't let her know. She didn't even bring us our bill, we had to flag down another waitress to get it from her. Sunday, we sat down at 9:30 am. I've taken to checking the time at this restaurant because the service is extremely slow, almost to the point of nonexistent. By 9:45, not one employee acknowledged that we were there. The place was not busy, maybe four other booths occupied. At 9:50, we got up and left. The whole time we were waiting in our booth, my husband observed two waitresses standing in the back where they enter the orders. They apparently were so engrossed in their own conversation and didn't care enough to check on us or any of the other customers. This isn't the first time we've seen this happen. I noticed that one booth was waiting for their order the entire time we were there, as we got up to leave, the waitress brought them a side salad and told them their food wasn't ready yet. 20 minutes to get a salad, really?!? I watched a waitress bring a table their tabs, finally. They had been waiting the entire time we sat in our booth waiting for a waitress to stop by. Then she stood next to the table and told them to sign their bills so she could get her pens back and went into a lengthy explanation of how her pens are always disappearing. I think she really made the customers uncomfortable by watching them so closely. I wonder how much of a tip she got from them. It seems that this place has no management as we have consistently gotten poor service. On the previous visit I saw three customers get up and leave. They cater to truckers at this place, giving them poor service is a good way to get a bad name in the industry. Word spreads fast. I don't think we will be back here anytime soon, if ever. The day after our last visit here I went to the Huddle House corporate website and filled out a comment report. About two hours later, I got a phone call from Carla,the supposed manager of our local Huddle House. She asked me what happened, even though it was all in my email, I told her again how bad our experience was. She told me if we came in during her shift and asked for her she would make sure we got good service. I shouldn't have to do that, you should just automatically get good service from whoever waits on you. She basically told me they're having a hard time finding good help and training them in properly. Excuses!

    Just had the worst restaurant experience of my life. If you think eating at The Huddle House is a good idea, think again. We were there about 15 minutes before anyone came to our table, a table that was there before us got their order taken after we did, the staff was less than professional with their conversations and random shouting, 1 table walked out without paying because their order was completely wrong and they had been waiting longer than us to get their food, another couple sat down and after about 10 minutes of no one coming to their table they left, and to top it off we could hear many people complain about the awful service.

    Every table in the place was dirty they only had three guess at the time of our arrival and they were eating so we issue to wait to be seated then we had to wait for the table to be cleaned. The food came not only was it cold as ice we were missing items. I had t OK send my food back just to have it go into the microwave to be heated. We were never asked if we wanted anything else to drink once my husband's glass was empty. She asked if we wanted white, wheat, or raisin toast then said Oh we are out of white so I went for the raisin when the bill came we were charged 40 cent extra for them not having the correct item as shown but I will handle all of this.. I do not care how short staff you are as a manager you do what needs to be done to cover your business and make it run correctly and to check out seem to take even longer I was beginning to think my food was free. When I questioned the girl about the charge she stated "the sourdough and raisin are 40 cent extra" well if they would have had the correct item on the menu that goes along with the meal I would have went with that...law of the land 'if you do not have the item in your resturant that is offered on your menu in the platter and you can not substitute it for what you have then take what you do not have off the menu...ie we don't have pancakes but you can waffles. Or we are out of milk you can have the cow shoe was so mad my bill went from 18 to 15 she's lucky she got a 2.00 tip

    The quick breakfast food was alright. The customer service was horrible. We stopped there while traveling home, the restaurant was not busy, there were only five patrons in there total, and our waitress ignored us. She walked by, I attempted to get her attention, she turned her head and walked away. I wanted to walk out, but the kids were hungry. We waved another waitress over and she gladly took our drink orders and promptly brought them to us. We had her take our food order as our waitress still hadn't acknowledged us. She took it and handed it over. Our food arrived from yet another waitress, it was timly. Our waitress only came over to drop off the bill, and that was just a drop and go, no " how was everything or sorry about being busy" nothing! I have been a waitress for years, never in my time have I blatantly ignored a table, no matter what they looked like or who they were. Horrible service. This was May 18,2014.

    Is in the Flying J truck stop.Food is good, but service is bad. Tanya ,my waitress took my order.Put it in .Then gave part of it to someone else...Not impressed! then she came back every few minutes,and asked if every think was ok. Got on my nerves! Tanya is a young ,cute blonde. Who kneed to learn .LOOKS is not everything!!!!!!
