I really wanted to like the elks lodge, but it was awful. Neat old school place like my great-grandpa would have been a member of. The salad bar was ok only bc I was starving after pheasant hunting. Three out of five of our steaks came out wrong. My mushrooms were just plain gross. I felt bad for our waitress she had to have been 60 years old and really was sweet, bless her heart. So if you had a grandpa who was an elk then go! If you have no ties to the elks then save your money!

I have only been here for dinner 3 times. The service was horrible! Waited over 15min for a server to come to our table. I have been told that their prime rib is great, that is if they ever have any left when I got there. Food was horrible, I have had the steak, lobster and filet. They were horrible. Server forgot my potato, sautéed mushrooms, silverware, and my drink. I reminded her cause my salad was still sitting in front of me. My girlfriend finally spoke up after almost 20min waiting for my drink, she ordered hers same time and got hers promptly. She finally returned with my drink and everything else. I looked at our "sautéed mushroom" and they were just canned mushroom warmed in a microwave. I will never eat here again.

Open to the public, went there while on business. You can dine in the bar or restaurant area. The bar has TVs and blackjack, so it's a bit louder. The menu was extensive from steaks, seafood to pasta and sandwiches. The prices were good, particularly the wine (Red Diamond Merlot for $13 bottle). Most of the entrees come with the salad bar which had a lot of options including some fresh pickled vegatables that were delicious. We ordered the steak oscar which was a surprise to arrive covered in a slab of melted American cheese rather than a bernaise sauce. But the steak was cooked to perfection. The side order of steamed veggies was fantatstic as well. If you are in the area and want a meal that's not a chain, I would recommend you try it out.
