After discussing with my wife we have agreed that this is the best B&B we have stayed at. Located within walking distance to the water and the downtown. It has off street parking, wifi, and the best part, the owners are beyond fantastic. Service was personable and professional, even having a casual conversation only to have the things mentioned appear later that evening to make our stay more pleasant and personalized. The house is magnificent. 12 foot soaring ceilings, intricate mantles, oak floors, cedar lined closets, decorated for the period yet comfortable. Yes, it is a bit noisy. But, you get used to it. The entire house is spotless. We can't recommend this place enough!

Just stayed one night traveling through town. Would have been nice to stay longer. It's in a good location, close enough to everything. Friendly service, and the breakfast was Delicious! Our room was nice but a little loud because it was facing a busy street. We booked at the very last minute so this was the only room left. Next time we will request a room in the back.

Gracious is just too small of a word to capture the true spirit of this B&B. Sean was such a wonderful host! The breakfast was delightful - beautifully presented and very tasty. I've rarely experienced this level of professionalism and artistry in the hospitality industry. Well done! PS - the bed was so comfy! I was in the Wedgewood room. Such a treat.

We found ourselves in Wilmington at 8PM and no idea where to stay. Found Rosehill in AAA book so we called. SO GLAD WE DID! This is an historic house. Rooms are large & impeccably clean. (Bath towels were thick and fluffy.) Can walk anywhere from here. I can't decide what was better - the owners' genuine hospitality or the over-the-top breakfast :). (They even asked about dietary needs.) Don't miss an opportunity to stay here.

The Rosehill Inn was a wonderful stay. Sean checked us in and had a very nice bottle of champagne on ice as requested. We stayed in the Carolina room which was spacious and quiet. It had a cute little bathroom and very plush bed. Breakfast was incredible and very tasty. There was a small fridge available and small cable tv. The location is 2-3 blocks from some of Wilmington's best bars. I'd recommend trying the Dock Street Oyster Bar. We took a nice stroll down to front street and saw lots of vendors and boat tours. The only negative was the parking. There was some parking but not much and the street was always packed. Otherwise... Do not miss breakfast.

The inn keepers' hospitality is superb, food is fantastic and rooms are adorable. I stayed 3 nights in Indochine Room is on the second floor at the front of the house. The room was immaculately clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. Thank you and I hope to come back someday soon!
