Quaint diner with homemade daily specials. Customer service was very friendly and food tasted good. You can order food or ice cream up front and they'll bring it to you or you can get it to go. I noticed a drive thru too. The restaurant itself seemed a little run down and in need of a good renovation but the service, promptness and food made up for it. Burger was cooked right with toppings you select. Fries were.... just fries. Tuna salad sandwich was pretty good and veggie beef soup tasted homemade. I also counted 32 different choices of ice cream up front. Didn't try any, but I think I'll go back another day.

Food was ok - though at least one of their staff doesn't know how to put ice cream on a cone. The last time we were there the scoop she stuffed on the side of the rest of the ice cream fell off and into my lap after pulling away. We decided to try them again; today, getting in line around 354 PM - we sat in line for five minutes behind another customer in the drive through. The girl that can't put ice cream in a cone opened the back door tying up a trash bag and then walked back in. Another employee came out to the first customer's vehicle and then ours - telling us that they were closed. He stated they closed at 4 (it was 359) and so they wouldn't serve us. He then ran back into the store and closed the door. Now, all the lights were on - including the drive through. There were no posted hours that we saw and they had paying customers in line before their stated closed time - but hey it's time to go - so get lost. We like to buy local to support our community. We prefer to frequent those businesses as we want them to succeed. But these folks do not seem to care about making a profit or customer service. We were really disappointed and we will not be back.
