Sage Brush is essentially the backwoods cousin of Logan's Roadhouse...minus the peanut shells on the floor. The décor and general vibe of the restaurant isn't as new and shiny as Logan's. It looked a little run down. The menu is relatively the same as Logan's and Sage Brush boasts that they hand cuts all of their steaks. The service was a bit lacking. We sat in the bar area due to a long wait for a table. The whole time we were at the restaurant, people were consistently waiting for a table. Looks like they do a good volume of business. The bar and booths in the area were manned by the two bartenders, so I cut them a little slack. Still, long waits for drinks and food to come out. I think one server mentioned biscuits or rolls, but none were ever brought to the table. I ordered a steak and my husband ordered ribs and both were ok, but a little cold. Friday night must be really busy for them. I'd try the restaurant again...it's wasn't too bad. This seems to be about the only moderately priced steakhouse in Kernersville.
