I'm lucky it started to rain when it did or I might have rode on past this gem in Boone. We were greeted in the parking lot and made to feel like we were the only customers they had. Gyro platter was authentic and delicious. Chicken pita was amazing. Tzaziki is fresh and awesome. It's my new "must stop" in Boone. Holly rocked the service. I can't finish this gyro, but it's sooo good I'm gonna sit here until I can.

Parthenon is great, one of the best Greek places that I've ever eaten. I always get the gyro (pronounce it yee-roh) with Greek fries. The service is what sets this restaurant apart from the rest. Nick will always be more than happy to say hey and welcome you to the restaurant. I honestly don't think he has ever not known a face that has been in there before. Before you leave Boone, NC be sure to stop in.

Great stop in town when you are shopping or taking a quick visit. Good prices and nice sized portions. I enjoyed the greek salad and the dolmades. Kid friendly!

This place had an excellent chicken gyro, and an OK greek salad. Prices are reasonable too (I think the gyro was around 6 or 7 dollars). I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quick bite for lunch (or just really wants a chicken gyro). I haven't had a chance to try anything else though, so I'm not sure how the rest of the menu is.
