Small town cafe know for their burgers. I had a bacon cheeseburger with crinkle fries. Juicy and very tasty and well worth the stop. Share the meal if u are not a big eater and make sure u have enough napkins...burgers are juicy and reminiscent of a back yard bbq. Potato salad was creamy and satisfying. Soup is also homemade and I bet a grandma is in the back making it!
Ok we were in the area on vacation and by recommendation were told by several locals to try this place. All I can say is FABULOUS!!!! These girls have it going on..... Actually my girlfriend took me here for lunch and we shared the cheeseburger and fries. The burger has just the perfect ratio of meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, dill pickles and onion on a sesame seed bun oh my. And the French fries were crinkle cut, but a thin cut style fried crispy and I believe were seasoned with just the right amount of salt. So with this dining pleasure under my belt and knowing my husband is such a burger extraordinaire I had to take him for a round of deliciousness. We had to order to go but that's Ok it was still amazing. The fries did not make it home naturally because they are so stinking delicious and hubby devoured them. He loved the burger and wanted another trip before we left Montana. You go girls!!!
Searched and found this hidden gem on Google the night before we went down. Nestled in what appears to be a modified double wide trailer in a residential area, this place screams "America". Walking in, it looks like a scene from a movie based in the Deep South, and inside you should find a bunch of high school kids wearing letterman jackets after the Friday night football game. Inside is nothing more than you would expect after looking at the outside: old and dated decor, almost as if it was a time warp, a couple of ladies at the counter taking your order, and a guy who was scripted just for this part in the high school football movie scene slinging burgers on a flat top grill. What you don't know, is that this is the best burger you will ever eat in your life. The entire experience, the dreary atmosphere, the token staff, and the gas heater shaking in the top corner of the building, is all so perfect. If you've never been to the United States and you want the full experience, go to Von's. Hands down the best burger I've ever had, and the no frills, no gimmicks establishment made for the perfect meal. Please, do yourself a favor and go to Von's the next time you're in Eureka. You can thank me later.

Friendly, homey atmosphere and good food. Meats we're all delicious, over-easy eggs cooked perfectly, omelette on pointe, really great homemade strawberry/raspberry jam to go with generous toast portions.
I just drove in from Canada for work. I'm from Texas and I was waiting for a good hearty meal once I crossed back into the states. I was not disappointed by Jax. I ordered the biscuit and gravy and it was delicious. The bacon was thick and cook perfectly. I'm giving it three stars for the service. The hostess was nice but the waitstaff needs some upgrading. My tea was never refilled. Also a draw back is no dessert is offered on the menu?
Diner food. What we expected. Service a bit slow though the place was very busy. Lively and happy atmosphere.

When we first moved here the food was "OK", but as the years have past the owners have really out their best foot forward! WOW is the food good now! Everything from presentation style, colors, and side items is much improved. Considering they are the only night place to eat, and we would have to come here, or Yongs (Chinese food doesn't sit we'll in my stomach), or trappers (long wait at trappers sometimes), this is a great change. My wife gets the chicken salad and I kinda change it up. The hot roast beef and turkey are not on the menu. You just tell them, and they serve it up :) Cheryl & English the waitresses are always pleasant and make you feel at home. You really can't go wrong here. Unless you have a time machine and go back a few years. Nice job Guys! Mike
Four corners has some pretty good food. I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the casino part but the food is good for a small town without breaking the bank. It's definitely the place to stop for dinner on your way back north from a long day of shopping. I would definitely recommend the food here I usually try something new every time and have not been disappointed yet.
It was an OK restaurant until just last year when a bunch of stuff changed and everything improved. Great restaurant, food, decor and friendly waitresses!

A hidden gem in little Eureka, Montana! A co-worker and I arrived in Eureka at 7pm on a Wednesday night and the Powderhorn was the only restaurant in town (not counting Subway) that was open. We checked the dinner menu (surprisingly extravagent dishes but reasonably priced) but were more in the mood for sandwiches. We popped inside to ask if we could eat off the lunch menu and the owner responded "Sure, that's what we do!" and we sat down at the counter. Short version - both our sandwiches were great. I had a reuben based on the owners recommendation and liked it a lot. My vegetarian co-worker asked about the Italian Veggie Grinder and was assured of its quality. She went for it and really enjoyed it. Actual fresh vegetables (mushrooms, broccoli, onions, peppers, tomato, etc.) and a vegetarian marinara sauce. The owner was the only other person in the place and provided great conversation and entertainment the whole time. Two filling sandwiches and two sodas for $18 - can't beat that. I'll definitely go back to the Powderhorn next time I'm in Eureka.
This happened to be one of the only places open in Eureka for an early dinner. Walking in, we didn't know what to expect, but we really weren't expecting much. Much to our surprise and delight, the food was absolutely delicious! Hubby had the Reuben, and said it was one of the best he's ever had. Or son had the pastrami with Swiss and he said it was really good. I had the half Backcountry with a bowl of chicken noodle soup, and both were totally awesome. Mike, our sandwich chef extraordinaire, was very friendly and provided a wealth of information about the local area. I rarely give 5 stars, but it would be worth going through Eureka again just to eat here.
Great little place with amazing fresh ingredients on their sandwiches
