The Burgers and sandwiches were very good and the atmosphere was fun, We especially enjoyed the brownie and ice cream. It was shared at the table and eaten like a school of piranha had descended upon it.

I am so sorry the service, and even the food, has gone so downhill in what used to be my favorite place. The server has always had a bad attitude...he loves to watch TV instead of help his customers. I have put up with his sour face and dire manner for years, but this past week, his attitude has actually gotten WORSE, which I didn't think was possible. The food was very mediocre; I took most of it home and then ended up throwing it out. The music was way too loud. The bartendar acted like he had better things to do than serve me, although there were only a few other customers. Just an overall bad experience. I think the servers and bartenders could use some remedial training in manners and customer service. The cook could try a bit harder to not get complacent.

Service was horrible!!!, local's take second to tourists! waited 20 minutes for someone to recognize our presence. another waiter continued to tell us that another waiter was coming, never to show up. people need to know how to hussel!!! food always good, but need work with staff and ability to multitask.

Pretty good food for a bar. We had the pork riblets to start, which despite claiming to have habanero in the sauce definitely did not, but were good all the same. I had the corned beef, my wife had the smoked trout flatbread. My sandwich was flavorful and not too heavy on the onions. Her pizza was bland and unappealing. Our server was completely unfriendly and seemed far more concerned with the baseball game than his job.

Even though there was just one person running the bar, seating people, and taking orders - she did an outstanding job. The place was comfortable and enjoyable - not too loud. The food was great too. I had the buffalo burger with onion rings on top of the patty ... plus there were delicious fries too! If you're in Ennis and need a bite to eat, I'd highly recommend it. NOTE: There's no Dr. Pepper. :(

We went in again to this spot, hungry for a burger after watching a season and a half of Friday Night Lights (they're eating burgers and fries in a diner for like half the show). Since we had a good experience with the tuna melt from before, figured we'd head back there to check out their burgers. The Wings I'd give these wings 3/5 stars. They were pretty small (as you can see in the photo) and I think I much prefer a spicy (like buffalo) sauce to the sweet sauce they had on them. These seemed like pretty typical over or microwave baked wings (rather than being nice and crunchy) and didn't have a ton of meat on them. I don't think I'd order them again. The Burger We got a traditional burger and added cheese and caramelized onions to it. For $11 the burger was definitely smaller than I would have thought, especially since I split it with the wife. I definitely was expecting a bigger piece of meat and buns for that price since that's on the high-end of what I'd pay for a burger in a bar. While the size was smaller than I would have preferred, the taste was spot on. Really good beef, tasty cheese, really enjoyable. Maybe that's part of why I'm sad it wasn't bigger. I would definitely get the burger again given it's flavor alone.

Stopped in for lunch while visiting our friends from Cameron. They have a bar food menu of burgers sandwiches, fries ect. They also have a nice assortment of salads. I had the chicken Caesar which was fantastic and the Greek and Taco salads our friends got looked tasty. One person in our group ordered a burger and it looked delicious.

The Gravel Bar, also known as the G Spot, is my favorite watering hole outside of Doc's place in Ennis, Montana (which has the advantage of overlooking the famed Madison River). The G Spot is a friendly establishment, right on Main Street, that features several Montana microbrews including Double Haul IPA, Trout Slayer Ale, and Elk Hair ESB. Not only is this is a great spot to whet your whistle, but the restaurant also serves one of the best burgers in the Big Sky State. Highly recommended!

For a small town like Ennis, it wasn't bad. We were all really hungry after a long hike and camping trip. The burgers were good, and the service was great. I also enjoyed the outdoor seating. I would go back if I ever find myself in Ennis again.

Ennis, WY is sort of in the middle of nowhere. Fortunately, it is in the middle of nowhere where fly fisherman tend to congregate. As a result, you have a true fine dining establishment in the middle of nowhere. It is attached to the Gravel Bar, which is a pretty fun looking bar. It only operates seasonally. But, hot damn, the food is good. We went with a huge party and everyone was stoked. I had some Bison ribs that were incredible. Imaginative, interesting in preparation and presentation. Delish. This food could go toe to toe with places like Portland. It's that good. Finding a great restaurant is always a treat. Finding one in a place where you don't expect to even have a chance at finding one is even better.

Luckily stumbled in here on our way through Ennis to Glacier. We made sure we stopped on the way back. Everything is completely delicious. Handcut fries, amazing hot pastrami sandwich w locally cured pastrami, the Montana Mule in the requisite icy copper mug. Best meal in Montana for us!

Great family operated establishment with good food, strong drinks and great atmosphere with a great price. The staff and owners are top notch friendly people. This is a great place to stop at when ever in town.

These guys make a mean Moscow Mule. It's served in a copper cup, the way it's meant to be. I like stopping in here to catch some live music on the weekends, when I'm in Ennis. Last time here my favorite bartender Kaitlin was behind the bar, crushing it as usual. Definitely recommend stopping in here for a post-river beer or a pre-Banditos cocktail.

Cool joint in a tiny town. I stopped through Ennis, MT on the way to Jackson. I got distracted by the quaintness of the town and stopped to take pictures of the sculptured cowboy and horses just down the block from the bar. I randomly met a guy on the way back to the bar to finish his drink. I thought I'd join, and we headed back. I met his friends at the bar and the bartender, who was really cool, Travis, I want to say. It seemed like the town was young and hip and I never would have known if it werent for the Gravel Bar.

Stopped in for dinner on our way through town and honestly wished we would have kept driving. The menu had all of the appeal to make it a quick favorite besides the high-priced kids meals. We ordered the kids individual cheese pizzas and I tried a bite. It was horrid! It tasted like a weird tomato paste and pile of cheese cooked over some dough. Those were $8 a piece. My husband ordered the brisket sandwich. We asked if it came with onions and our waiter told us it did but we could get it without. So we ordered it with no onions. It came out and again, I tried a bite and had to spit it out since it was saturated in onions cooked with the brisket. It was served with coleslaw on top which my husband said was some of the worst he's ever had and despite the sauce with the brisket, the sandwich was dry and lacking good flavor. My husband choked it down but was seriously disappointed. The only redeeming things served were the fries my husband had with his sandwich and the at least edible cup of tomato bisque I had. It was an overpriced experience lacking any decent quality of food.

Three things promoted me to leave this review: 1. I could not pick up my pulled pork sandwich because the bottom bun was 100% mush. 2. There was detritus floating in my water. 3. Their idea of coleslaw is thickly-cut slices of cabbage with a light coating of watered down mayo. No joke. Worst dining experience of the whole tour. Nice folks, but horrible execution of the meal. UPDATE: I gave them a second chance. I returned during the day when it wasn't busy and ordered the same thing. This time they threw the bread on the flattop so it held up as much as could be expected with that kind of sandwich. The coleslaw was just as sorry. Nothing in the water. Why still only two stars? Because two of the items in my meal fell WAY below any semblance of a dining standard the first night (not even counting the water, which is an honest mistake), and in their second chance they only managed to raise one of those items from below average to average. Had they not grilled the bread the second time around, they'd only be getting one star. Great place to go if you're just looking for drinks with friends, but get a few in you before calling on the kitchen.

The staff was very friendly. Which made up for a lot here. Be sure to eat the fries quick because they get soggy in no time. The fish and chips were pretty good. The fish was not too fishy. They have some nice outdoor seating. The pool table is available at night.

A delightful place enroute to W Yellowstone. A bit pricey, but really good, creative food with friendly service! We split a few plates, and they gave us each our own soup, beans and rice. Nice job!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
