Great Greek food and amazing service! Setting is low-key and relaxed. I haven't had a Gyro this good in the area ever!

Traveling from Texas and a coworker and I stumbled upon this gem. My coworker had the Gyro Platter and she said the lamb is the most tender she has ever had! I ordered the Greek Nachos (in true Texas fashion) and was to die for. For the price, the nachos are enough for 2 people. Love!

We love to eat here because of the decor. It makes you feel like you're walking into Greece! The food is really well done. I always order the salad and the fries when I go there and it's fantastic. The service is iffy and inconsistent, but for the most part I rate this as a great restaurant!

I tried my first gyro and ordered some calamari. The calamari batter was tasteless and boring, the calamari was dry and hard...so nasty. Gyro wasn't as good as many people make it out to be.

Absolutely outstanding food! Nice atmosphere. The Gyro!!! It's very very good. I get the Gyro Platter as it's easier to eat. The bad: They're slow. Take out business is huge so I'm guessing that slows them down. Parking downtown is a pain. GREAT FOOD!!!

Good food! Numerous options for vegetarians! I like the falafel, hummus, tatziki sauce, hummus, baba ghanoush, dolmas! Pita is fresh and is good with everything. $11 for the platers! Pitas are $7

Best gyros in town! All we get are the beef gyros however I did hear the chicken ones are also good. That will have to he my next adventure. Somehow I just can't get past the gyros to try anything else from the menu. They are that good, not dry and the meat is fresh.

Best gyros I have ever had. Beef and chicken gyros will both knock your socks off. The chicken is white breast meat, not that crap that is just a pale looking gyro meat. Sorry, me and my girlfriend have not ventured far from the exquisite gyros, so I can't help with the whole menu. Everything is very fresh and authentic. I can't say enough good things!

The best Greek place in town. It is clean, authentic and pure Greek mom's cooking. I am Greek and you should trust me. We tried the chicken gyro and it is made with real!!!! chicken. The dolmades are stuffed grapes leaves and they come in two categories, with meat and vegetarian. I loved them both. I also tried mousaka( eggplant with meat sauce) and it was very tasty. I had eaten the galactoboureko which is cream pie. We ordered out and the service was very fast and courteous. We love it there and we will be back soon. A big Thank you to Alexandra, the owner, a greek from beautiful Preveza!

I love Greek food. If you take baklava to go then be sure to refrigerate it, it's just better cold. The place is a little small but that's ok.

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants here in Billings! They always get my usual, the lunch combo, correct!! The staff are beyond friendly! I have a hard time eating at other Greek restaurants/vendors that is not the Athenian or Renzios. I called my order in and it was perfect. Just the right balance between the meat and the veggies. The fries were nice and crispy with a perfect amount of seasoning. Amazing!

Athenian seems to have a new group of servers. The food is almost always great but the service has been wanting for quite some time. Today was different. Our server was friendly and efficient, and the food came out quickly. Very good food and an enjoyable experience today!

We ended up here after a rough hour of trying to find a new place to eat. Our first choice was closed on Monday, second place looked a little sketchy so we heard Athenian had a decent gyros. We sat ourselves and were in somewhat of a bad mood because we were so hungry. When our server came over and dropped our menus on the table and walked away with out saying a word we literally started laughing. As we waited forever for our server to come back we just watched her mosey around in her university shirt, yoga pants and flip flops. It was actually pretty funny and helped cheer us up. I also noticed the people next to us seemed like they were not enjoying themselves. We almost laughed out loud when he came back from paying his tab and put $1 and some change on the table. The food was decent, had good flavor and was priced pretty well so we will probably come back for a quick gyro. That said, I was looking around for hidden cameras and very entertained by the poor service. I just couldn't believe it! It only upset me when ten minutes after asking for boxes (I would have finished my food, had she brought the extra pitas we asked for) I went to the counter to get them and was told "I'll bring them in a minute" and then it took another 5. This place need to invest find a better server... Gym clothes chick wouldn't make it in any other resturaunt. She is only hurting the buisiness. I'm a good tipper but this was the first time I can remember that I tipped 10%... and that was because I couldn't bring myself to tip any lower...

The Athenian's gyros are on my list of best-foods-in-the-entire-world, which is a pretty small list I might add. I love love love their food here; it's all fresh, affordable, and sooo delicious. Service can be a bit slow, so I don't recommend here if you're in a hurry - otherwise, it is definitely worth wait! Be sure to grab a piece of bak lava for dessert. After one visit, you will be hooked. I want a gyro now...

Terrible service and the food is dull and uninspired. Good for a mid-day Gyro- to go. Don't do dinner here, there are much better options.

Service was great. Food was tasty, but not the best Greek I've had.

We just enjoyed a very nice, relaxed meal at the Athenian. It was very refreshing to sit down and not feel like we were being rushed through our meal so someone else could have our table. A very European approach to eating! I had the Olympian Sampler which had a little bit of their signature selections. It was more than enough food which I could have really split with someone. It also came with an AWESOME Greek Salad and Quartered Potatoes. My husband had the Combo platter with beef Gyro and chicken. Excellent. Our daughter had the Gyros Platter which scored high with her and our other daughter ordered Tyropita but 30 minutes later we were informed they were out of it. She settled for the Spanakopeta but she really didn't like it. I did have it on the Olympian and it was GREAT! The Zaziki, (I guess their version of tzatziki sauce) was really tasty. The grape leaves were kind of bland but the sauce on top helped. Our server was just as sweet as could be. The restaurant is really clean & neat. We'll definitely go back when we return to the area.
