Horrible service, the delivery driver is ALWAYS 'out today' no matter what day I call. The restaurant itself is comprised of old moldy booths decorated whatever happened to look indian at the thrift store. The people who work here always seem to only half know what they're doing, which is scary when ordering for those with allergies. The only reason I gave a second star is that the food isn't half bad if its not dried out

I am a huge fan of indian food and seek it out when traveling, so I was very excited to get an indian restaurant near home. I was very disappointed on many levels. The restaurant wasn't clean. The floor felt slippery like there was oil or grease on it, and I had to wipe off the table. The food wasn't good. I don't know where these 4 & 5 star ratings are coming from. Perhaps they are just very inconsistent as the other reviews claim to know good indian. The food was served cafeteria style under heat lamps. As in another review, the naan tasted like it was heated in a microwave. It was very rubbery and lacking flavor. I ordered the butter chicken and some kind of curry. The flavor was bland. My wife and a friend of ours ordered the shrimp. It was overcooked and shriveled. The food is served on paper plates with plastic flat-ware. I could live with this if the food was good and the restaurant clean. The final straw was that they started to clean something, I assume the grill, while we were in there. It was awful, the stench forced us out. What's worse, we could still smell it on our jackets and in our hair the next day. I wanted to like this place, but it just wasn't good. I had thought about giving it a second chance, but our first experience was so bad, we haven't been back.

Super fresh and tasty Indian food! They cook their own naan now and it is excellent. Will be going to the mall location often.

Friendly staff to explain what everything is and a express style service where you can order small portions of lots of different items. Get the garlic naan... It's great! I had the vegetarian Paneer dish. Finally some variety in Montana!

Heard about this little gem from a bartender in Bozeman. He exclaimed how great it was and that all the local chefs absolutely love it. Could barely wait to try it the next afternoon for lunch- I was lucky enough to be raised with Indian food mixed into my diet because my mother worked for an Indian...once you get bit by the curry bug... There's no help for you! So I absolutely CRAVE Indian food. The lunch was amazing. Plenty to choose from and all very fresh. The owner was behind the counter and took special care of my entourage that I brought along who were also very excited! The seating is a bit limited, but it wasn't a problem for us. The value for the incredible meal- very fair. This establishment is now on my favorite list for the Bozeman area and I will now make special trips thru Belgrade to enjoy it!

Just go. Go and eat until you have to unbutton your pants. Go and know the deliciousness that is cheap Indian food. This is the ONLY Indian restaurant in the greater Bozeman area, thankfully it is a good one. The staff were all very friendly, despite being busy they kept things moving at a good pace. I'm very hopeful that they'll be successful enough to open a location closer to my house but until then I'm happy to commute for their yummy food.

Love this place. Quick and easy. I usually just get my order to go. You can sit and eat there as well. Food is always really good. Nice to have unique tasting Indian food in Belgrade.

Great food, great service! The butter chicken and the masala are to die for! I have spent time in India and can tell you this is the real deal.

This is Honestly my first true Indian experience and it was awesome. Holy flavor. The staff was amazing and would have let me try everything. Get the Paneer. And I would suggest the combo sampler. Get a little flavor of everything. The manage told us about dinner and it sounded amazing.

Not the best Indian food I have ever had, but it is good. Definitely worth driving from Bozeman. Just come and eat here. Too bad they are in Belgrade. They would kill it in Bozeman.

Not as good as many other Indian places i have been to around the world, but this is only one of two places in Montana you can get Indian food and it is good enough.

I was traveling with my family and always love the Bozeman area for the food. So glad to stop in Belgrade for food because there is less traffic and we were in a bit of a hurry. My son is 10 and so he's easy- chicken and rice. Pretty much any nationality of food has some version if chicken and rice. My daughter is celiac but loves everything! My husband and I wanted to introduce the kids to Indian cuisine because it's a great gluten free option but have never ventured into that on the road. Great first introduction! The butter chicken is mildly spiced and delicious and the super friendly staff let them try samples of the different types of food. I'd like to eat at their house! However, The smell of the restaurant at first is off-putting (a grease-spiced B.O. Type of smell) and stays on you long after you leave. There is a bit of a greasy film across the place- tables and seats and floors etc. and we had to access the bathroom through the kitchen which feels unclean and a little intrusive to me. They really need to scrub it down! But, overall, since the food is delicious and we were all happy, I give it 3 1/2 stars. Next time we'll sit outside or take it to go!

6$ for the lunch special is a good deal but i wish they had a spicy version of the dishes. Not hot (spicy) at all.

This is an Indian fast food restaurant where you select your dishes from vessels you can see in front of you, like a buffet, except that someone serves each of them to your plate. You can then choose to dine in or take the food away. Two of us visited recently and chose a variety of meat and vegetable dishes which varied from good to quite good although the samosas were excellent. The restaurant makes no pretense towards waiter service. If you like your food particularly spicy, as we do, the server will make adjustments. As such it is what is and that is good, solid cuisine but in no way fancy. It's a good restaurant and it is the only Indian restaurant within at least 100 miles. We will eat there regularly and we will certainly arrange for take out, particularly the samosas.

Worst food ever. We ordered samosas which are like deep fired more than 5 times. Full of oil floating like a river. For the oil to flow like that they might have fried it for days and kept back in freezer. The veg combo is like a epic of crap and for chicken curries chicken is like rubber sole i am sure even bear finds it hard to chew. I am very sorry for the harsh words.

Review based on two dine-in lunches and one takeout dinner. The food itself gets 4 stars for being quite delicious, and for being the only South Asian food available in this area (if not the state.) The mango and rose lassis are really good. The owners are very nice, and seem to genuinely care about their customers' experience. A couple of things do detract from the overall experience, however. The temperature of the food isn't what you'd call "piping hot," even if it's eaten right off the steam table. So by the time a carryout order gets home, the aluminum TV dinner-type container has sucked out whatever heat was in the food to begin with. So I ask you Mr. Restaurateur, how do you expect your customer to reheat it, if he can't put a metal tray in the microwave? And you must be aware that using metal cutlery in a metal TV dinner tray always gives the food a metallic taste -- which is a shame because, as I said, your food is yummy. It was hard to believe the soggy, microwaved lump of dough wrapped in aluminum foil with our takeout order was the same naan as the warm, crispy deliciousness we had in the store. Seriously, a clue needs to be had on choosing appropriate food service containers. I'd usually deduct another star for the establishment not being totally sparkling clean, but will give them a chance to get things on track because the food is, again, rather delicious. To the owners: if you're going with the open kitchen concept, where everything's visible to your guests from the front of the store, you should probably not let the kitchen floor go unswept for very long. Also, if your guests need to look through a pane of glass to choose their food from the steam table, that glass should always be spotlessly clean.

Coming from CA I feel like I have tried some amazing Indian fare. Curry Express is not incredible but it is really good. I enjoy the butter paneer masala as well as the paneer and peas. They don't always have the same stuff but if the owner is in he can sometimes make what is not already out for the day. The staff is always friendly and the price is fair. For fast food Indian I really couldn't be more happy.

Place is very authentic. Super fast service and really cheap lunch special. There is limited seating but don't let that stop you from enjoying some excellent curry. Not sure what you like then just ask for a sample and they will be more than happy to let you try it out.

What a disappointment! $9.00 got me a huge pile of flavorless "yellow" (saffron) rice, two pitiful scoops of vegetable korma, and a single piece of garlic naan (which was pretty good but, at $3 per piece, ridiculously overpriced). Two-thirds of the items on offer were unlabeled (and mostly unrecognizable), and the employees were unable to answer the most basic questions about the food. ("What is that?" "Spicy chicken curry." "What kind of curry?" "Spicy.") They bill themselves as authentic Indian cuisine, but it's a joke, and a sad one. I can make better than this at home.

Went here on recommendation of hotel desk clerk. Wanted something fast and good, without the crowds in Bozeman during MSU start week. Met a nice couple on the way in and they recommended the sampler - a little bit of everything. Delish and two orders served three of us. Bear in mind this is fast food, but did not see paper plates as the one reviewer stated. Place could have been a bit cleaner in terms of bussing dishes and table, but food area was very clean. They don't skimp of flavor or spices and lots of vegetarian options. I am a vegan and was very satisfied. The owner was very personable and we will definitely return.

Have had Indian food many, many places across the country and was very excited to learn Montana had an Indian place to try, and near us! However, our experience was mediocre at best. Food was not hot, barely warm. The naan was so rubbery, we could hardly chew it. The spice flavors were "off", and unlike any other I've tried. Interesting concept, but sadly we won't be going back... We're still in DIRE need of a sit down, full-service, traditional Indian Food place in this state. Think Bozeman would be an ideal location :)

Pros: open later, staff is friendly, easy parking Cons: Table not clean, food served on paper trays with plastic forks, food was visually unappealing, over-cooked and under-seasoned. I won't return.
