Visited here last night to watch some sports with friends. The atmosphere here was great, not too rowdy. Our server was new and had some issues remembering their menu and non-nonchalantly dropped an F-bomb when she couldn't remember something. Not the best language in front of patrons. We ordered their appetizer sampler platter, which was pretty good. They also have a decent beer selection with nice local brew options. The major issue came when we were leaving and gave our server our credit/debit cards. Evidently the system was down and they couldn't run the cards. So I asked what happens if it doesn't come on, and the server told us we have to wait, then she disappeared for 45 minutes. She did not ask if wanted other drinks (and never brought my glass of water I asked for), and there was no attempt on her part or by the management to appease us or compensate us for our lengthy wait, nor were we even asked if we had cash to pay with instead of card, which we could have gotten from the ATM. She never came back after her initially informing us we have to wait, so I couldn't even offer to pay with cash instead. The tip I left reflected the poor experience, and in retaliation, the server told my friends that if I came back again, she would spit in my food. Very poor experience at what is usually a pretty decent place. Won't be seeing me again. I'd rather not have spit in my food.

Bad service...server occupied with gossip with fellow server. Ordered tomato soup and grilled cheese. Saying it was awful is being nice. Couldn't have been worse. Tomato soup not hot and had chunky stuff in it. We affectionados want plain hot soup, not floating junk in it. Not stale bread and sprinkled cheese on it. Canned Campbell's is better. Cost is 9.5! Really? Grilled cheese sandwich was overstuffed with cheese and about as greasy as it could be...was glad for the ten+ napkins I was given so I could squeeze the grease from the sandwich. Really bad.

It's smoky, the service is horrible and the wings were not good. The only reason I stopped at the Fox & Hound in Southaven was to visit some friends that were gathered there. I discovered that the service and the food were just as bad at this location as the service and food at the other locations in Memphis. We were over charged for our drinks. When someone orders a "tall" Jack and diet, that doesn't mean they should be charged for a "double" Jack and diet. It's the same amount of alcohol with more soda. File that mistake under poor staff training. When we asked for an adjustment we were visited by the manager who fixed the bill but blamed US for not being clear with our drink order. The hot wings and the spicy garlic wings looked exactly the same. Our server used a toothpick to indicate which was which. Guess what, they tasted the same too. The smallish wings were also overcooked to the point that the meat was too tough and the bones were shattered.

Certainly not a fine doing experience, but go decent bar food on a Monday Night Football night, pretty darn good. All of your favorites ( burgers, wings, skins, etc...), and as a veg head, very HAPPY with the hummus plate (even a a buffalo option). Service really wasn't the greatest, but the clientele which was a mix of couples, groups of guys, or solo sports fans, more than made up with it with the friendliness. Independent sports bar in a large shopping complex with a large department store. A BIG plus in my book when your guy NEEDS to watch Sunday NFL, and your credit card has a different mind!

Food is great, servers are great. However unless you want to go to jail don't go here. The cops stakeout this place. I noticed it when I was driving there and only had one beer because there were 4 cop cars watching the place.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted and told we could sit anywhere some one would be with us in a moment. We took a sit near the front and waited... for 10 minutes! Several waitress passed by our table during this time. Another couple came in and sat at the table next to us. The waitress came over to them within 2 minutes f them sitting down. I told my guy I am ready to go, I cannot sit in a place with bad customer service. I only gave this place one star as I could not give it anything lower. Would never recommend this to anyone.

If you're going to drink in DeSoto County, the Fox is probably the best place to go. The wings are always a safe choice if you're hungry. I'd recommend the Black Forest, too; it's a great sandwich to sop of that fifth beer. If you're a beer connoisseur, I would recommend a visit on a Tuesday night, pint night, to sample of their recently expanded beer selection on the cheap. Enjoy!

I took my husband for a nice relaxing lunch date and it was frustrating to both of us. The food was okay but the service was horrible....we had to walk to the bar on several occasions to find a waitress for a refill or something else. We where then told that our waitress disappeared and that she was helping to get us seated but shes not here to serve our table. I will not return.

This is a great place to come for watching sports. TVs are everywhere and placed in good locations for everyone to see the game. We had to find our own seats but that was not difficult. The waitress was hilarious and kept us entertained. The atmosphere is extremely smoky and loud. The burgers are great and I like the drink prices.

I went here with my boyfriend for his birthday and we had a relaxing time. We just sat at the bar and ordered a couple of drinks. We were slightly disappointed that the place didn't have the Kraken rum but they have a pretty good variety of beer. It wasn't very busy but the bartender took good care of us. Might I add, the bathroom was very clean!

The only reason this place gets one star is because my server (Leah) was outstanding. The establishment itself is horrifically dirty. Had a dead roach in my booth. There was another chick at the bar, I think named Tony, who is seriously incapable of making drinks, i saw her looking into a how to make a drink book for a simple cosmo. Sweetie, bartending is not the job for you. The food is alright. My specific waitress was great, but the place needs some molly maids to run through it a couple times its so dirty!! The manager must have been having a bad day, was talking to the workers pretty badly? The place had a very negative vibe going on so I bounced out. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

This place has a great environment, beautiful waitresses that provide great service and it is not only a nice place to eat, it is a great place to hang out and have a beer. If I lived in Shouthhaven, this would be where I spent my nights. They have a great selection of beer at the bar including a pecan beer that is actually very, very good. Just watch out ordering a black & tan or snake bite. Even though it's in a 16oz glass they charge you for two individual drinks... ouch. Other than that, awesome!
