Great place to eat, we came here after poor service at Logan's across the street. Sat at bar, got drinks and salad immediately. Bartender David was great, very friendly and professional. Food was great and came quick. Don't waste your time on Logan's across the street, come to Lone Star and get a good food and good service.

Well, low grade chain with really weak drinks from the bar. Waitress who just didn't seem to know what was going on. Very disappointed in the experience all around. I'd rather eat at the restaurant in bass pro shop! What else can you say?

This use to be a decent place to grab a decent quick meal. Not anymore. Apparently there is new management. This place was barely busy on a Saturday night. It was freezing cold and asked staff to turn a/c down and they didn't. We weren't the only ones cold. Child's burger was undercooked and when I told the manager, he asked what temperature was requested. Really? It's for a child! Well done you imbecile! Bathrooms were filthy. Took a while to get silverware and when staff brought them, slid them across the table to each of us. Definitely won't be visiting here again. Save yourself the trouble.

I actually had them send over the food as room service at the Hilton garden inn... To start I called and was transferred and hung up on, mistakes happen no problem. I ordered a burger with salad and soup. The soup was like warm at best by the time it reaches my room. The burger was good but again was not as warm as I would expect it to be. Salad seemed fresh and the best part of the meal. After the experience I've decided not to go there again. The convince was nice but the price did not match to the expectations. By the way, without even asking they billed my room for a 3 dollar tip. Which is fine cause I normally tip 30%. Thanks for the savings..

Friendly people....went for lunch....took a while...salad was drowning in dressing and water....ordered lunch size 9 oz ribeye it was over seasoned for its size....all I could taste was the pepper they put on it....and by the way I'm from Texas, we drink coke not Pepsi.

Sat at the bar for almost 10 minutes before the bartender came out. Once out she grabbed me a beer and a menu and then disappeared in the back again. I'm not a demanding customer, just want my order taken within 20 minutes.

Well, what else can you say when you order a Delmonico ribeye cooked medium and it comes out well done? It was also very greasy as if they basted it in oil. Not very good at all. There frozen bar was cool, though.

Lets start off with the young hostess. I understand its late in the evening but until the place closes at 11pm greet your customer without the attitude. The waitress is nice and pleasant.

AVOID THIS PLACE!! Found chewed gum in the paper napkin with my silverware. Service was super slow - we considered leaving it took so long to get our food and we only ordered salads! Paid $40 for two salads and one baked potato. Nasty place.

I eat hear sometimes but it is not my favorite place for steak. Their prices are usually higher than their competitors and the serving sizes are smaller. The steaks are OK but not anything to write home about. The service is usually slow so I hope you are not in a hurry. Now my latest visit the waitress was slow but at least she did check by and I know she had a large group and they were driving her crazy so I cut her some slack. Also, it was Thanksgiving night so I am sure they did not have a full staff on duty. Those people were bitching about the ticket. I am not sure what they expected when they ordered glasses of wine, mugs of beer and mixed drinks. LOL I heard the waitress explain it to the man that was to most vocal by saying, Sir the ticket will inflate if you drink pictures of beer. I was at a loss for words for this mans whining. For the atmosphere this is what to expect. More people inflicting their children on others. This one couple had four or five kids all kicking the bench and pecking on the table, This for evermore grates on my nerves. I pay to go out to enjoy a meal not to be subjected to your kids. This is not McDonalds. I wish I could find a place that does not allow children or at least places with child-free sections. Red Robin comes to mind. Too bad we don't have one here.

Just got in after a 6 hr drive from Arlington and I was hungry. The service was GREAT, fast and they leave you alone to eat. Had lots of TVs to watch a variety of sports games, the good was hot and tasty. I got the 6oz filet n grilled shrimp w a salad, side of sautéed mushrooms and green beans. Salad was awesome (wedge). Steak was cooked PERFECTLY and the veggies were good. Shrimp was not bad. Full bar for those that drink. Being right next door to my hotel sealed the deal. I would come here again in a heartbeat. I have no idea why so many people complain. This place was very good.

Visiting Jackson for business. 7 hungry and tied people. Arrived around 8:30p, another 30 mins later that we were even asked for our drink request. Another 20 mins later still bo drinks. Staff was not working together. Waitress had 3 large tables. At one point we heard shouting coming from kitchen area. Believe that our waitress was having a meltdown. Management did nothing and did not come out and speak to any of the customers. Will be sending communication to cooperate office.

Do not come here. If you are staying in the area like I was and didn't want to travel far, O'Charleys is a short walk away and my food there was much better at a similar price. I personally have liked Lone Stars in the past at different locations, so I am not sure if this is the meal I ordered or the location but here are my issues with it. The sirloin steak I ordered wasn't horrible but I expected a lot better quality from a steakhouse. The vegetables are what made this restaurant deserve a 2 star. I ordered the "Fresh" Green Beans and the "Fresh" Broccoli and they were not fresh, probably frozen and microwaved. I am a less dissapointed about the fact that they were not fresh as I was that they were not fresh but were advertised as such. I cannot tolerate false advertisement, especially since the labels were a big factor in my decision to come to the restaurant and in my decision to order these sides.

Having left TX today and not having a steak on any of the 4 days there, I felt a hankering for a rib eye and this was the best prospect near the hotel. The service was normal, but it wasn't stellar either. The meal started with soft rolls served with butter sweetened with cinnamon. These were delicious and almost like eating donuts. My side salad arrived next and the ranch dressing on it was full of flavor and appears to be hand made. The steak and fries arrived last. The fries were a thick cut style which can be hard to get right, but these were crispy. The centerpiece, however, was the most disappointing part of the meal. The rib eye was dray and tough. At first I thought they'd overcooked this thin steak, but visual inspection showed it was indeed medium. It's a shame because the seasoning was good, and had it been tender an moist it would have been a decent steak. In all, it's an okay chain restaurant, and I wouldn't avoid it. Or seek it out (unless I was in the mood for the bread).

Bad food and bad service. Sat at bar for dinner. First, warning sign was a staff member coming out of the kitchen dropping a loud f bomb. Simple request for silver ware resulted in delay which suggested that the answer might be no, you can't have silverware, instead of yes sir right away. Beverage Order and delivery came early but then the wait to order began. Stuffed mushrooms were BAD. Steak was bad, under cooked (ordered medium rare), tasteless, tough and grisly. There is either no training for staff or bad training, Go elsewhere.

This place is dreadful. I don't usually rate chains, but this one was so bad it needs to be rated for other business travelers to know to avoid it. Service was surly and slow. Cold food was warm and hot food was cold. Nothing like a steak ordered medium that comes out charred black and grey in the middle and is barely lukewarm. EVERY person working in this place acted like they were pissed off because they had to hold a job.
