I've been eating here for years and it is by far the best Chinese food I've eaten anywhere! My favorite is the green pepper steak but everything I've ever tried here is way better than any other Chinese joint I've eaten at...egg rolls are awesome as well!

This place has the best pizza I have eaten. The crust is amazing and the sauce is like no other. And there bread sticks with all their dipping sauces they have to offer in amazing. Every time we go to our camp we get pizza here and of course can't leave with at least 1gallon of that delicious tea. We have even ordered the big one which was an experience in itself because everyone in the restaurant was staring as the worker had to carry it out to the car. When we got it back home we ate on it all day and still had left overs. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly and a good place to dine in as well but when they get close to closing time they shutoff the drink machine which we thought was weird so you can't refill your drink anymore. Overall I recommend this pizza place to anyone in the area.
Definitely the best pizza place in a McComb. The only place that has anchovies as well as more interesting toppings like alligator! The crust is thinner than most of the crusts at regular chains but you can taste the difference in quality. Ingredients were fresh and flavorful. They are slightly pricier though! Expect to pay $20+ for an extra large pizza.
My family took me there when I was in town. Wasn't impressed and you would think a real restaurant wouldn't run out of toppings.

Had my first French Dipped Beef Po Boy here, it was superb!! Cool little place that's 50s diner theme. Everyone was very friendly, the locals seem to love this place.
Love this place! The staff is friendly. The food is delicious and the desserts as mouth-watering good! I recently started working in McComb & this place has easily become my go to lunch destination! I eat there at least 2x a week and I have not found one thing I dislike! Try this place out! You won't be disappointed!
I give Broadway Deli three stars because the food was just acceptable to me. The sandwiches were something that anyone could throw together in their home and there was no coffee on the day that we went. The servers were not very friendly either. I will say though that the brownies are delicious.

Know what they say about the 'hole in the wall' cafés and dives? They sometimes have the best food? This is one. Small mom and pop cooking Chinese food... Small buffet with few selections, but it is very fresh. Menu too for all you buffet-haters. Lot's of Take Out traffic. Good unsweet tea!

Food was good along with the service but you know you're in redneck country when deer heads are the decor for a "sushi" restaurant LOL!!!
Pretty good food and a good value. Service was good and the food came out in a timely manner. Cucumber and crab salad was made with imitation crab but was good and very fresh. Goyoza was pretty good. The ages tofu was not the best I've had. The house salad dressing was a light ginger dressing and had a good texture and balanced flavor. Hibachi filet was well cooked, tender and came with a good dipping sauce. Is this a place you must try? No. Is it a good place to stop on a trip to avoid the Golden Arches? Yes. Would I stop and eat here again? Yes.
Really good atmosphere. Great service and flavorful food.

The Dinner Bell Restaurant

229 5th Ave
McComb, 39648
Reviews:
Years ago food was not the sole focus of dining. People got together to socialize while eating. The Dinner Bell in McComb Mississippi transports the guest back to a by gone lifestyle. It's in an OLD house. It has a set menu. It is open on Tuesday through Sunday for lunch. They will open for dinner if you make reservations. They have a website that gives directions, shows the menu, and the price for lunch. The food is on a giant Lazy Susan built on the table .They seat you and ask what you're drinking. You have 3 choices Iced water, Iced Tea, and Iced Sweet Tea. Lemon slices ,sweet and low sugar substitute, salt pepper, hot sauce are on the Lazy Susan. Since it is essentially an "all you care to eat buffet " with the refill pitchers on the table there's not much interaction with the staff. They are very nice. They bring the food out straight from the kitchen so it's hot. If you let them know nicely that your table is out of an item they will promptly get more if it's still available. It reminds me of those great communal suppers at church , and at my Grandparents. You sit at a large round table that seats 20. If you get there near the end of the lunch rush they will take chairs out of the table to give more elbow room. The thing that made this a great lunch for myself and family was the communal dinning with complete strangers and the act of polite conversation, that usually starts with "would you spin the Fried Chicken in my direction please"and then followed by " where are you from?" that makes it such a fun experience. Seated at our table there were fellow travelers, one was a guy who wrote for the T. V. show Futurama, a Minister and his family, and some locals. You get the chance to engage in conversation with new and interesting people. There were a few negatives. I drove there from Baton Rouge today for the first time. There was road construction and where I needed to turn to get there was not allowed by the road crew. I called the restaurant. The owner Mr.Buddy Davis not only gave me directions but stayed on the line to make sure I did not get lost! t's in an OLD house. It has old fashioned doorknobs on the doors and could really use some "sprucing up" with a couple of gallons of paint. It is clean but it's dingy with the repetitive use that comes from a lot if people. The food is old fashioned Southern food. That is quite a change from what most of us are used to now.Yes it's Southern Country food and it's good...but not Great. Most of the meat dishes are fried. The Fried Chicken is good...not great. I'm pretty sure there's real butter in everything except the Coleslaw, Potato Salad, and dessert. The food is heavy. The squash, yams, and the sweet potato casserole has too much sugar in it. There was so much sugar in the sauted onions and squash they tasted like candy. The rolls were like something out of the bread isle at the grocery store. The cornbread had so much flour it was white. It was also very dry. Since it's a set menu you are limited to what they're serving that day. It's buffet all you care to eat so if you get there at the end of the lunch run and they're out of something why it's too bad because they close in an hour and cook's not starting a new batch. I've had better Southern Country food at restaurants like Cracker Barrel or the Blackeyed Pea but not as much fun. Would I make a special trip and drive 2 hours to eat there? NO. If I was in McComb on a Tuesday - Sunday at lunchtime would I go back? Yes. Is it worth checking out if you're anywhere near? YES.
Terrible food, horrible experience. Avoid at ALL COSTS!
To reply to "ES"! Not from the South I take it! The food at The Dinner Bell is as good as any I have eaten at other buffets. It is what a lot of us Southerners grew up eating. Your review seems to imply that this is not a good "dining experience"! Seems you are in the distinct minority.

Love the Broma chips! Most items I've ordered has been great, the burgers tend to be a bit dry though. Fast service for a work sit down lunch! The location in Brookhaven is better though.
Not bad, but I usually have to send my food back for correction and there is one rude employee. Other than that, the food is pretty good.
One does not expect much from mall food - so this place is surprising. My sandwich was very good as was the service. I had the French Dip sandwich, which was as good as any I had in New Orleans.

The Caboose Restaurant

131 N Front St
McComb, 39648
Reviews:
This is the place. My first day in McComb, MS, I was peer pressured into going to a quick lunch between sessions at the Caboose. Thankfully peer pressure works out to your advantage sometimes! I had a bowl of the gumbo with rice at lunch, and surveyed my colleague's lunches with thoughts of returning for dinner. I looked over Yelp for reviews and other possibilities in the area, but Yelpers, locals, and hotel staff all said I should go back for dinner, and I'm SO happy I did. My server, Ashley, was friendly and helpful in guiding me to the best the restaurant had to offer. My evening meal started with a side Caesar salad (one of my personal favorites; server stated there'd be an up-charge) and bread (which I never got to because I was saving room for the rest of my dinner). I ordered a blackened ribeye accompanied by grilled asparagus with hollandaise. After I had time to delve into it, the chef came out and talked to me about the steak (nice gesture) and I mentioned that I loved it! Found myself dipping the blackened steak bites into the hollandaise sauce to add another layer of flavor. Overall the price was a bit higher than I'd expected (the up-charge for my Caesar was $5!), but my belly and mind was very happy! I'm not sure if tomorrow's training will bring the same peer pressure to return to the Caboose, but if it does or if I revisit McComb in the future, I will definitely return.
I have been to the Caboose 3 times. Never have I been satisfied. There is a "better than you" haughtiness from all of the staff. During the second visit, our waitress never smiled. Apparently we inconvenienced her day by making her wait on us (only returned to the table once after delivering our meal). The last time I went, we were greeted with: "We cannot serve you. We close at 1:30 and do not sit anyone after 1:15, and it is 1:28." I asked why they had the door unlocked if they were closed, but she did not respond other than "I hope you will come back soon." I told her not to count on it. If you are coming to McComb area and want WAAAAAY better food at a WAAAAAY better price, go to Old River Steakhouse in Tylertown, MS....(601.876.3800)
Best steak I've ever had. Salad was so-so. Atmosphere was whatever. Wine was suitable. Hollandaise was pleasantly lemony. Asparagus was perfectly cooked. Music selection was random and strange - though fun to make fun of so added entertainment. Service was mixed.

Fast, friendly service- (got our order right- But fries a bit too salty) - cool 'create your own mix' coke dispenser- and when I mentioned I was traveling with my dog, the cashier fixed up a shallow water cup to go, for my pup! Extra stars for animal-friendly lagniappe
Very busy with narrow parking lot. Drive thru goes in front of the door. There are speed bumps to keep them from running you over. Employees friendly enough, but not very motivated to get orders taken or delivered. This whole town lacks motivated employees.
Great customer service!! Very very quick. Had all of our food ready almost before we paid.. Yum yum ready to get back on the road now!!
