The service here is great! We got sweet tea and it wasn't sweet I wanted to get something else because of it. Our waiter went in thr bar and re made a new batch of sweet tea, we could see him stirring it up himself and he brought us more and it was perfect! Way to go above and beyond. The pasta and fugoli soup is like chili and is amazing. I got chicken scampi for my meal which was angel hair pasta green peppers in a garlic cream sauce and chicken tenderloins over it. Was amazing! Would definitely pick this place over any other in Hattiesburg except for the crescent city (his name was Reese)

I was traveling on business and decided to give Olive Garden another try. The Baton Rouge location seemed to be on the decline. Hattiesburg's restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Steak-Gorgonzola Pasta and it was good. The steak was definitely on the rare side, so if you decide to order it and want it cooked thru, be sure to let your server know! The serving are so big that I could not finish my meal. In fact most folks left with a box!

Cleanest, nicest Olive Garden anywhere I have ever seen. Nice menu, I have never seen before, much more friendly and inviting choices. Best breadsticks ever, browned, tasty and hot. Fresh salad with beautiful ingredients and the delicious old standby dressing. I had never had the Brushetta Caprese, it was good, but the mozzarella was without identity in the dish. Loved the slices of bread being hot. My flatbread was a garden of fresh ingredients, although, the sauce was a little just like tomato paste. The Garden Primavera with grilled shrimp was a beautiful dish and my husband said it was good, they substituted angel hair by request. Thanks Kenmekia, you are a wonderful server and I name this the reigning Olive Garden for food, service and facility! :-D

Been here often enough. There food is pretty consistent I think. Love the chicken and shrimp carbonara. Don't have the best alcoholic drinks though. Zupa tiscana is the bomb and the bread sticks are good to. UPDATE: I had it rated four stars at first but I had to knock it down to three stars after last two times visiting. Shrimp and chicken carbonara neither looks or tastes the same. Compare the two different carbonara pictures. They are about 8 months apart. Fried ravioli was bland and didn't taste fresh. And stuffed mushrooms( oh my goodness) was like drinking a bottle of vegetable oil.( very greasy) Doubt ill ever be going back. I really like the lemon cream cake though. It is so good. And check out how big the red bell pepper is that was in the dish. Unacceptable!

This is a pretty clean Olive Garden with nice staff. I have gone a few times and on 1 occasion had to ask for a new waitress after the one we had kept playing in her greasy hair!! This may not mean much to some people but it definitely means a lot to me. The food is good. It seems like they've changed the recipe on the shrimp and chicken carbanara, it's bland and lacks flavor. Zuppa soup is always good!

My wife and I enjoyed this restaurant. It's a great place to go for lunch or dinner and the service is fantastic! We enjoy the soup and salad best of all because its only 4 weight watchers points per item!

Worst service ever! Sat at the bar for 10 minutes while both bar Prendergast ignored myself and my guest. Service was fair, excellent server but slow service. Out of two items I ordered... Would have rather gone across the street.

Great service, same great food as every other Olive Garden. My waitress was very nice and attentive. She even sent me home with fresh from the oven breadsticks with my to-go box. Awesome! Walking distance from the Microtel where I'm staying, can't beat that.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
