The past 3 times I've gone to eat- the experience has been terrible. After the first time we tried a couple more times thinking maybe it was just a 1 time thing but after this last time we decided it's not worth going back. We went on A Sunday and were seated pretty quickly. We waited about 20 mins for drinks and then the waitress got it wrong. We are pretty patient people and she seemed busy so it was fine. Then as all of the people around us got served their drinks, bread, got their orders taken while we still sat waiting for or our to be taken. No bread or anything. Then she took our order about 30 mins after our drinks and the people that sat after us were almost done eating and we still never got bread. Then the restaurant slowly started to empty and we realized that whole time that she only had 3 tables. So we weren't sure what was taken so long. We had still had somewhere else to be at 3pm and thought we were going to have a nice lunch and after 1 and half hours total of waiting and still no food or bread and we were almost out of time and she hadn't even checked on us after she took our order we decided to just leave. That's the last time we will go there.

Probably the worst place I've ever been. It was surprisingly busy. We were seated towards the entrance in a horrible booth. One side was raised high above the table and my seat made me feel so small because my chin basically rested in my plate. The service was horribly slow. Between waiting for a server, drinks, apps, meals, and the check....we were there for almost an hour and a half. No refills on drinks, no check backs, nothing. It's like they forgot about us. I noticed 2 couples seated plenty after we were who had their meals and left before we did. Food: horrible. Well not quite, the app was the decent part. We should of stopped there but, no. The rest, horrible. The steak was tougher than the fake leather booth. The potatoes were terribly dry. The chicken strips were over fried. It was just bad all around. A hostess brought us the check. I'm assuming it was a hostess because she stood by the door the whole time. She said they took 10% off because we seemed distraught. Um, yea. Why didn't the boss bring it out? Was he the guy socializing at the bar? Probably. Ocharlies used to be decent at best but now I've think they've finally hit rock bottom. There's a Backyard Burger a minute away. Save your money and go there instead.

Not sure what all the poor reviews are about. Me and my daughter have been coming here on a regular basis for years and have never had a single problem. The one on the beach in front of Edgewater Mall was good too... until Katrina leveled it. :(

Went to this location to have dinner with my husband and two children. We ordered the kids meals & we ordered the 2 for $20. You get an appetizer and 3 entrees. We both selected the chips & cheese appetizer & the fish & chips for dinner. The appetizer was good, but when it came time for dinner I got something extra in my meal, I had a curly hair on my fried fish just sitting there on top like a garnish! To say the least my appetite was gone. Called the manager and to my amazement we still had to pay for the appetizer & the kids meals because they had eaten some of it. My first and last time ever to go to this restaurant. Please please be aware of this place!

I am surprised at the poor reviews. My husband and I stopped by on Monday evening on our way home to Louisiana. The restaurant was very clean with a friendly staff. We were seated in a comfortable booth and were delighted with our excellent waitress! We enjoyed a Blue Wedge salad, (you could split one, it's so big) for a starter. He paired his with the frozen strawberry lemonade and it was delicious! His steak, shrimp scampi and brocolli were excellent. That says a great deal for a New Orleans Italian to say it's great! I had the fried catfish and loved the corn meal based batter. We ended our meal with Pumpkin Pie. This restaurant is in the same category as Chilli's, Macaroni Grill, and Cracker Barrel. I gave it 5 stars because our service was excellent. our food was excellent and the place was clean and comfortable. We would go there again if we are traveling thru Gulfport.

Horrible!!!! Place stinks as soon as you walk through the door!!!! Dirty and the service is horrible!!!! My soup was cold and the waitress had a horrible attitude when I told her!!! Rolls over cooked and cold!!! Cheese wedges had no cheese!!!! Use to be my all Tim favorite place to eat but this location on Hwy 49 Gulfport is the most poorly ran restaurant I have ever been!!!! I wish Zcorporate would step in and turn it around!!!!!

This is not one that I'd recommend, although I'll have to admit the food was not bad at all but the waiter forgot us for a while and the manager had to come over to help. She was very nice. The problem I had was the restrooms were nasty!!! They needed attention.

This was once the place that everyone in my family agreed to go; however, the past 3 visits have all been a nightmare for service. Food lukewarm when delivered, waitress inattentive, and the last time (4/18/2015) the waitress was the worst. Due to the horrible experience that she gave her other two tables, it caused her to give us bad service to make up for it. Food usually taste pretty good, but the service is going down the drain.

The worse O'Charlies I have been to. The wait staff was friendly, but the frys were old and the chicken blue sandwich was not good. The menus were sticky and not very well organized.

My husband and I were looking forward to having the prime rib here, as we had enjoyed it here a few years ago. However, we had tried this place before a few months ago, and the prime rib wasn't even prime rib, it looked like a thick ribeye steak, of which the manager agreed with our opinion. That wouldn't have been too bad, but the ribeye was full of gristle and fat, so we just left and hoped to try again some other time. So here we were again, ready to give O'Charley's another chance to redeem themselves, but what arrived at our table was just awful. The prime rib was overcooked, had no flavor, and was apx. 50% fat. To make matters worse, the side dishes were also horrible. The mashed potatoes topped with bacon tasted like someone just boiled them, mashed them up, and topped them with the bacon -absolutely no flavor or seasoning. And their cole slaw was just awful, as they added onions/scallions to it. I have never in my life eaten cole slaw with onions/scallions in it, and now I know why: The onions/scallions are too overwhelming in flavor. We asked for the manager, and a black gentleman came to our table. When we explained why we were unhappy with our meals, he didn't seem concerned at all nor apologized for the bad experience. As a matter fact, he said their mashed potatoes were shipped to them in bags so they didn't cook or season them and just served them as is. He also said the onions/scallions in the cole slaw was their own recipe. And he wasn't concerned at all with the quality of prime rib. It's bad enough to have awful quality food served to you, and you wasting your time when you could have gone to another restaurant, but when the manager doesn't give a damn, that's a clear sign something is very wrong with an establishment. This will be the last time we visit this place. I'm not sure why it's so hard to find good quality meat in the Gulfport area, especially when it comes to steak, but at this point we are exhausted trying.
