I LOVE LOVE LOVE Five Guys! This location is as great as both in the New Orleans area with a few exceptions. When I went in today, the grill chef was utilizing his time to help restock some counter items--making me suspect he was the manager--and was friendly enough to say hello and ask how I was doing. The server who bagged my little cheeseburger (I could only get through half) & little fries added another big scoop of fries after he filled the cup--sweet & I'll be back to gorge some more. The server who took my order was friendly and smiling as I walked in the door. And the staff acknowledges customers coming through the door as they open the door. Engaging customers is always so impressive to me since it lets you know they take total quality seriously. Since the place was packed before 1130a, you know they're good. As usual, everything exceeded expectations. So go eat there!

No hamburger joint on the Coast is better than 5 Guys. No restaurant on the Coast has french fries as good as 5 guys. Juicy burgers perfectly cooked. This visit was my third and the third time I failed to load up the burger with all the fixings. Maybe on purpose. Each time I get a different combination of stuff. (Always unjuns cuz I can't help it). A hamburger is not supposed to be a salad. Taste the meat. Taste the cheese. Sweet onions, crispy pickles, a few savory mushrooms, and vicious jalapeños. What could be better? Washed it all down with a cherry ginger ale. The dudes working the place seem like they love there job. Wanna go back tomorrow. Anyone want to split a fry?

Holy shi* that was good! Only the second time I have eaten at 5 Guys, 1st time in Alabama about a year ago. Way more impressed this time, maybe because I have been away from In & Out and Smashburger but anyway, very good, super friendly guys working there! Yum!

There's nothing special about the burgers or fries. I could make a more flavorful burger at home for half the price.

Always great burgers. By far my favorite semi quick burger place. You can add as many toppings as you want albeit it's listed on the board. People are always great and i've never had one complaint. It's not your run of the mill BK of McD's, so prices are a bit higher but it's worth it. If you're with people, you can pretty much split 1 order of large fries.

We typically eat very clean, organic "real food" stuff but being as I'm also a human with needs, sometimes I crave a burger, and I've heard this place is good. You go in and order from a board, simple things you can't really change. Similar to Dick's in Seattle. You can see everyone working on all the food and it was very clean. I liked that. The food was phenomenal and the fries? I didn't want to stop eating them. A few observations I found weird as hell though: - You can just scoop random peanuts and eat them from boxes in the back. Why? You're already stuffing your face full of food, why also peanuts? - Some cretins were actually just cracking their peanut shells right on the floor. There was a mountain of peanut shells just hanging out next to the people near us. Who does that? Why would you cause unnecessary work for the people working there? Gross! Anyway, I'm reluctant to go back because about a half hour later, whilst getting groceries I had the worst intestinal cramps in my life - I thought my appendix had ruptured and I couldn't walk straight. I was seriously considering having my husband take me to the ER, it was that bad. Maybe I should have laid off all those fries.

Probably the most consistent 5 Guys I've eaten at. I've been to a couple of locations a handful of times each, and this one has never disappointed. Food is always well cooked and juicy, fries are always seasoned well, service is always good, orders are done quickly.

Went in on Valentine's Day with my children and the restaurant was filthy. Tables were dirty all around the place and there was no effort made by the staff to clean up. Food was good.

Friendly staff. Good burgers cooked to order and the spicy Cajun fries are great. Large portion of fries so be hungry if you aren't going to share.

We have eaten at at Five Guys in 4 different states and the food and service is always great but the spirit of the guys that were working here the day we went for lunch was the best. Singing and having fun and getting the job done.

I love this place. Almost as good as company burger in new orleans. they give you a ton of food for a decent price compared to other burger places in NOLA and you get tons of fries and a great burger. all the toppings are at no extra costs. nothing like fast food, way better.

No atmosphere beyond that of any fast food establishment but that's where the similarity ends. If you like burgers and fries then this may be worth a try. Excellent quality meat and condiments. However the cost is comparable to a sit down dinner in any of the areas finer restaurants and that does somehow seem wrong. I enjoyed my meal but I just didn't feel I received proper value so I left less than satisfied which was unfortunate since the meal itself was quite good. If price is not an issue and you're doing take out ~ than this is the place. Went back again and this time I opted for the single patty burger, the mini. Apparently the regular burger comes with two beef patties and thus the higher charged price. So two people eating a burger each and sharing a huge portion of excellent french fries and each having a refillable beverage came to about 9 dollars per person. Yes it was worth it. And this time i felt i received an excellent value and was thus much happier. So my advice is request the mini (single patty) burger which is certainly as big as any other establishments regular burger, comparable in price but by far a better burger.

It's Five Guys... you can't go wrong. Same menu and fantabulous burgers as every other Five Guys location. Load it up with toppings, get a side of the cajun fries, and you will not be disappointed. In fact, my boyfriend demanded a trip to Whataburger (ew.) while we were in Biloxi, but after I took him to Five Guys, he quickly changed his tune. The next day, we were back at Five Guys. Please hurry up and open a location a bit closer to the NOLA area :)

We love this place, good food at an affordable price. I had the little cheeseburger which is a single beef patty burger and with the toppings it is big enough for me. My lunch date ordered a bacon cheeseburger which is a double patty burger he loved it. Both burgers were cooked to perfection. We chose from the assortment of toppings to make our burger perfect. The vegetables were fresh and unlike some places the buns they used held up to the condiments. We ordered a single large fry and this was enough to feed both of us and have a few left over. The restaurant itself was clean and the service was fast and efficient.

$12 for a hamburger combo? I don't see what all the hype is about. A Wendy's burger tastes better to me. Then there's Backyard Burgers just down the street that puts Five Guys to shame, in price and taste. The many toppings choices was nice, but not for that price. I could have a duck medallions salad, tea, and rolls with honey butter at Lookout in downtown Gulfport for $12. "Oh, but look at ALL the fries they give you," people say. Do you have any idea how cheap potatoes are?

As a native Californian, In n Out does not hold a candle to this place. Five Guys has more choices for toppings, better fries and better BURGERS!!! The meat is so good!! Always juicy and bigger than In n Out. You don't need to drown it "animal style" to make it taste good. Five Guys is where it's at!! We called ahead and ordered take out. When we got there, they assembled our burger and dropped the fried right then so the food wouldn't sit in the bag waiting for pick up- nice touch! I recommend the call ahead!!

Ok, everyone has been talking about Five Guys so I had to check it out. I lived in San Diego for a couple of years and nothing beats IN-n-Out burgers. Since In-n-Out is a West Coast thing all I can say is thank you whoever you are for opening a Five Guys franchise in the South. Everything is fresh (no frozen fries here) Service is excellent! Warning: We ordered 3 fries for 3 people and I swear they gave us 5 lbs of fries enough to feed a small army. Overall experience was excellent! Trust me you will never eat McDonald or Burger King EVER AGAIN!

Must be new, because I get first to review, my first time ever at a 5 Guys, not sure about all the hype about the fries, they were good, but not award winning. The burger was very good, and the service was fine, I would go back, but I still don't understand all the reviews on the chains frys

Next to Best Buy we have a grand opening of what is surely to become a local burger favorite. Five Guys has opened a location and while it was a brisk opening, I know we will soon find hordes of people lining up to enjoy a good burger. Now I have been kinda hard on FG in the past, but I guess that is because I am from CA and grew up loving In and Out, but down here in the Sip you have to appreciate what you have and FG is probably the best burger you will get for your buck here on the Coast. We stopped in right before closing and had a cheeseburger (**** stars) and an order of regular fries (***** stars) the burger is made your way with a list of toppings to fit even the most finicky of eaters. As for the fries if it is less than two people, one regular order of fries will be enough. With free peanuts available as soon as you walk in the door you can and enjoy a handful while you watch them make your burgers and fries from scratch!!! Best time to go is soon because the longer you wait the sooner the secret will be out of the bag and the lines will grow!!!

Burgers were great and fries were hot even if the price is expensive that's to be expected when you have good quality food and not processed meat like the other Burger Joints! Will gladly eat there again.

Although I've heard much about it, I had never been to a Five Guys before. Wow!! Amazing. I'm super glad my daughter cautioned me about getting each of us an order of fries - we ordered one regular, both ate as much as we could, and still ended up throwing some out. I WILL be back!!

Very good Double Paddy of meat for each burger. Quality helping of Fries. Good family establishment and quality customer service. I'm already feeling fatter, my shirt is getting tighter. Too good. Highly recommended.

Gotta agree with Remy...I too have enjoyed the awesomeness of an In N Out burger in CA, and FG isnt as rad, but its darn close. You can get your burger with a smorgasboard of toppings to choose from. Say the word SMORGASBOARD. Its a silly word, isnt it? HAHA! Seriously though, they have a plethora of toppings to choose from. The fries are great, they give you a ton, so expect a new love handle to pop out the morning after eating here. Try the vinegar on your fries. Get yo eat on at the FG!

I must agree with the other two reviews about In and Out burger in cali. That place is awesome with its animal style fries! I've actually an 8x8 which is a burger with 8 meat patties and 8 cheese slices lol... don't know how I did it but I did. Well, back to Five Guys that place is awesome too for this area. When I first went there I had no clue the regular burger comes with two meat patties and all the toppings you could choose from. I remember the girl asking me what I wanted on my burger and I said everything lol... I could barely fit that burger in my mouth. I also ordered an order of large fries which they basicly fill up a drink size cup of fries put it in the bag then dump another load of fries in the bag filling it halfway up. If you come to this place be ready to eat... the large fries could feed four people and the regular size feed two people. Lucky I work down the street so I can get my fat on lol...

Love food but, come on $10 for burger and fries....your kidding yourself at least make your burger bigger and maybe get rid of 20 people behind the counter at any given time...,
