The tamales are wonderful!! My husband loves the huevos rancheros. The salsa is spicy and the corn chips are warm. If you order a Coke, it is in a bottle and imported from Mexico. Tony is a great guy and fun to chat with. This is a must have in Gulfport! Stop in and say hello.

Tony is a great host and owner. The food is terrific and the margaritas are the best I've ever had. The chips and hot sauce are so unique and are million times better than chili's or any other coast run mexican restaurant.

Best margaritas on the planet. Food is good too. Place is pretty small. Service is by the owner who knows his customers

Meh indeed. Sure, it's not as bad as some places I've been, but there's really nothing to recommend. The rice was tasty. And they have Mexican Coke and Jarritos, so that's something. But the food overall just doesn't make it. There's a mix of gringo and fairly authentic food here, but it's just not good. I tried the enchiladas verdes. They were wrapped in corn tortillas rather than flour, and that was a plus, but they consisted of dry chicken wrapped in a dry tortilla covered in a very piquant but otherwise not very flavorful salsa verde. It basically tasted like leftovers. My wife had the enchiladas con crema, a slightly better affair only because drowning them in crema softened the chicken and tortillas a bit. And everything's sprinkled in good ol' Taco Bell style shredded cheddar. I must admit that I'm a bit spoiled for Mexican food. You wouldn't think my former town of Omaha, Nebraska would be a Mecca for authentic Mexican, but the little places in South Omaha stack up with anything I've had in Texas, California, or, for that matter, Mexico. I've been trying to find authentic Mexican down here, but it just doesn't seem to exist. I'm dying for just a plain old simple taqueria with some good carnitas, carne asada, adobada, lengua, and cachete. I'm used to getting great stuff like that off a food truck, for Pete's sake. If anybody knows where I can get that here, drop me a line!

Went there last night and really enjoyed the salsa with chips. His place is small but very clean. The spicy burrito was great. Very tasty. Can't wait to go back. Tony was the owner. He served us and made sure everything was good.

Good score. Tony is great. Food comes out fast & is tasty. Just to bad it's not authentic. Some real tacos & different meat selections would be nice. To bad a Latino family has to conform to the local palate.

Loved Tony, the owner, but was not at all impressed by the food or drink. No grilled options on the menu- just burritos, enchiladas and other baked offerings. Chips were slightly stale and the salsa was completely unpalatable. The chicken enchiladas were mostly filled with cheese and the rice and beans were overcooked and clearly had been sitting all day. I expected much more for a $12 plate. My $9 house margarita was very small for the price and used well tequila. If you go, anticipate good service by a friendly host but be prepared to shell out $25 per person for pretty mediocre food. I will not be back. I'm bummed- really wanted to love this place.

I love Mexican food, and this is the best I've ever had. Chicken Nacho supreme and steak ranchero are 10s out of 10! Chips and salsa are also made in house. Order a side of ranchero if you like spicy.

Not against the friendly Owner and his good customer service, but as far the food goes, I would not be able to describe it as "Authentic Mexican Cuisine". Personally for me it seems like they purchase everything pre-made from the local super market place it on a plate and put it on the oven to hear it up..... Very disappointed with the food.
