Located inside target which seems to have become the norm... Not impressed with this location they only had one b arista and she was pleasant but had way too much going on ... There was one other employee who NEVER spoke or acknowledged anyone in the place.... The tables were dirty and their were no pastries or goodies of any kind on display.... but overall the coffee was GREAT I will return as I do frequent target quite often but will only pop in for to go orders

Still giving them one star but at least there are more Starbucks options that I've found in the area that aren't connected to a Target. Go to those. Leave this one alone. They still have that one person serving a long line of people. Crazy.

Starbucks inside of a Target in Mississippi. it is, without a doubt, a 'meh' experience. The employees here are indifferent. I hazard to call them baristas because I don't think they've been trained appropriately, even by Starbucks standards. (Yes, I realize there's much better coffee to be found than what exists at Starbucks). I kept stopping in here multiple times. I'm not really sure why, I guess I thought the frappes would get better? It never happened. Once, when it was freezing cold out (the kind of freezing cold we don't get here in FL), Hubby and I stopped in to grab a couple of hot chocolates. I assumed two hot chocolates would be a no-brainer. I assumed wrong. We got hot water with no discernible taste. Epic fail. On a positive note, and it's the only positive I have, at least the frappes here are better than the ones at the Starbucks inside Barnes and Noble at The Renaissance in Madison (and that's not saying much).

Drive the extra 2 minutes to Cups. This is basically a coffee shop with Target employees working in it. They had no concept of quality when it came to preparing my drink. They also fail to communicate with you if they are out of something and just substitute it. As a past barista I'd feel safer getting a cup of coffee from McDonalds before I'd get anything again from this Starbucks. For $6 my drink really should've been prepared right. I requested 110 degrees. After the server failed to use a thermometer I asked her if it was 110. She said no and started steaming another pitcher but she still didn't use a thermometer. Then she was going to use the espresso shots she pulled 3 minutes previously. Fyi espresso shots are only good for 30-45 seconds. I asked her to repull them and she insisted she shouldn't have to. My drink was bitter, under steamed, and definitely a waste of money.

I'm really tired of not having a full service Starbucks in Flowood. The employees here are not at all knowledgeable about Starbucks products and hardly ever make the drinks properly. They are also some of the slowest people I have ever come across. Today we waited no less than 30 minutes on our two drinks.
