Food here is cheap and proportions are generous. Quality of food is lower than normal but the taste is good. Environment is poor and the dining area is dim and dirty. However calling in orders to go is quick and easy. The staff is always nice and helpful.

This is the best place for Chinese food as far as I'm concerned. I won't go anywhere else. Quick, tasty and good people. My recommendation would be the general Tao chicken and cream cheese wontons. It's not the typical sit down restaurant, carry out is what most people go for here.

Atmosphere: Sucks. Haha, not to be mean but 95% of the people here get take-out. Mapo Tofu: Hot spicy tofu dish. The "meat and beans" for vegetarians who like spicy food and Chinese food. It's decent enough. Oily. But hey, when I'm lazy I get this stuff and it's satisfying. Big portions. Chicken dishes: My roommate likes their chicken. I do not. I think it's way too soft and too meaty for my taste. It's only good when you eat it within thirty minutes. To re-heat it and eat it, well it's like chewing rubber. Their sauces are mostly mediocre at best. Chow-mein: It's alright. Salty and your typical rubbery noodles. Good on lazy cooking days. BUT BUT, the people who work here are VERY nice. The guy at the cashier always remembers me and my roommate. He even gives us change for when we need to break a twenty. This is probably one of the reasons I come back here to eat because he's nice and the food is cheap. It's your decent AVERAGE Chinese food. Nothing stellar, nothing too terrible. Get it to go!

let's start off with my credentials. i'm actually Chinese! so obviously my expectations and understanding of what real Chinese food is suppose to taste like is probably much higher than most other people who eat here. this restaurant is like a sub-par Panda Express. they offer quick Chinese fast food take out for people looking to get some "asian" food. some of my experiences here include stale tasting fried rice, chicken and pork dishes are usually too salty... that includes the thick gravy usually covering it. i gave this place two stars only cuz its like one of three asian restaurants here in clinton

I moved to Clinton from a city that had a wide variety of Chinese options. I went to Great Wall because its close to where I live, and I'd heard the food was decent. Not really. All the dishes have the same sauce, which is too thick for its own good, and dries up after awhile. I've been there three times, and been disappointed every time. The only positive thing about my food was the hot and sour soup, it was actually pretty tasty. Everything else--not so great.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
