Really great hibachi!!! Love the fact that i can call in and carry out! That girl that has been commented on playing on her phone, I haven't seen her in there since the new year! So overall, yes I will give them 5 stars so great for take out Japanese food

Really good hibachi food to-go. Yes, you can eat in, but we never have. If you do eat in, there is no waiter service - order/pay at the counter, then head to the counter to pick up your food when it's ready. Most of the time, we would call our order in so it was ready when we arrived, but even when we just walked in the door and ordered, it never took more than 10 minutes. I've order the chicken and the steak dinners. Both are very good and come with fried rice. The prices are seriously cheap - like $6 for the chicken dinner and $7 for the steak dinner. It's also a hellalot of food! Many times, my 22 year old daughter and I would get a dinner to share and we'd still have food left over! Two adults eating for $6-7?! Oh yea - that's what I'm talking about! If you're in the mood for some good hibachi at great prices, head here. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Being a glutton for punishment, or simply looking to laugh at how bad service can be, I ventured back into OEC. I actually really like their food... for the money, it probably deserves 4 stars. Today, the cashier was literally watching videos on her iPhone the entire time I was in there. How do I know this, you ask? Because I, and everyone else in there, could HEAR the videos loud and clear. She's propped up on her elbows on the counter, intently watching her phone. Nevermind the dirty tables in the dining room that could use a quick cleaning... nah, keep watching those videos, darling. At some point, she actually did go into the dining room for something... she moved a high chair from the front of the room, to the very back down the hallway toward the bathroom. Why do I say it like this? Haha, because she actually DRAGGED it the 40 feet or so... across all the tiles, hitting every line of grout with a loud sound, all the way to the back... nah, don't pick up that 4 lb chair, darling... we all love hearing you drag it for 20 seconds in the dining room, while we're trying to eat. I like their food, so I do go in for that... but at this point, I also go in to see how clueless the service is. Sometimes, I look around and think "is this one of those hidden camera shows?"

OK I like the food. But just as I have said on other review sites. Watch out for the angry Asian woman. You will get so-so service from her as she will be talking on the phone while taking your order and yelling at the guys in the back. Let me just say the first time made me a little gun shy but after a few visits I like to see what kind of a$$ chewing she is giving the guys in the back.

Food wise, it is OK for the price. I've come to find myself looking forward to talking to the cashier while on the phone and during pickup. I just find it odd that anyone could be so oddly unhappy (that is how she appears anyway). The blank stare is the best part of the visit. I recall being greeted majority of the time with, "Yes?"

There are a bunch of these restaurants around town, but due to this one being close to my job, I went there today. What stood out was the quality of service I received was very disappointing. The two females before me were greeted and welcomed, after issuing, their orders they were thanked by the staff member running their food. To my surprise, I was not greeted by the cashier, she stood there and gave me a blank stare until I placed my order, I was not told what my total was, after gving the amount of the order to the cashier, she placed my change on the counter and did not say thank you. I waited for my order at one of the tables and after receiving my order the runner placed my food on my table and walked away, and did not say thank you or acknowledged was the order even correct? I consider myself a mature professional adult, so there was not anything to my person that warranted this kind of service. Even though it was to go, the service was very odd - why was I treated in such fashion? I don't want to hash on old stuff (bigotry between blacks and asians), but it seems some people are still hung up on that. Tried to contact the company and was unable to, their email system was not functioning properly. Date was 4-14-2011, Server was Boss, my transaction number was #20, just for the record, saying I was there on this date.

I always get the veggie rolls and it is nice to find a vegetarian snack for cheap in the area. Have not tried anything else but they are decent.

My wife and I went once. The little $&@?! behind the counter was so rude we decided to never return and we haven't. Where the hell is the manager? I don't care how good your food is (and it wasn't great, just ok) your service had better be as good or you won't get my money.

This is the worst OEC ever. My wife loves these OEC restaurants. When it first opened we went there. Disappointed is the only description. I've gone back since to give it a try. No improvement, actually it's gotten worse. The service there was horrible and the most basic dish, fried rice, would have been better from a frozen bag. Improve or go away.
