The taste of the frozen yogurt and toppings was pretty good, my only complaint was the price for what I got. Their ice cream is $.49 an ounce; that seems kind of expensive for the fact that I barely got any ice cream for $7+tax. The flavor was phenomenal, but I am not too happy about the price.

I am giving this 4 stars based off of other frozen yogurt places I have been to. This location was very clean and open. The young man working behind the counter was very courteous and helpful. They had over a dozen different flavors, we tried the cookies and cream and the triple chocolate, both which were good. They had tons of toppings, which I appreciate. Their smallest container filled was $6.45 for us and it didn't go past the top of the container. I wish their prices were lower, but its average for what I have seen from other places throughout the US.

I moved from CA to MS and I was so excited to see that Yogurt Mountain opened up in BAM. Mississippi (the south in general) hasn't caught on to the yogurt bar trend that blew up in California and you can really tell by entering the "yogurt bar" that is Yogurt Mountain Parking: Outside BAM or any other parking area around the mall Seating: There are a couple 2 seater tables sprinkled in the area near the window Service: The service is always slow, and I always feel like who ever is there, never really wants to work there. I mean, would it kill you to smile? They are also kind of hesitant to give you sample cups....why? Samples will help you increase your purchases. Food: All the yogurt here is one flavor, sugar. Lots and lots of sugar...maybe some cream. All of the flavors are similar in flavor and texture. Like Randy T said, its more of a soft serve than it is a yogurt. The are no healthy flavors, and their tart is very oddly super sweet. My husband and I attribute this to the southern palette (not to be offensive) and the fact that maybe real tarty flavors and the "water" based yogurts wouldn't fly over here. If you're into a B grade trying to be cold stone creamery but not place, this might be the one for you. The one thing other than the soft-serve-trying-to-be-yogurt they have going for them is their plethora of sugary toppings! They have lots of different cookies, sprinkles, cakes and desserts you can happily pile on!

Yogurt Mountain is a self-service yogurt bar that just opened a location in Mississippi. It is located in the Edgewater Mall inside the Books-A-Million. My first time here and this place really exceeded my expectations. They have a dozen self-serve yogurt machines with flavors like blue cotton candy, dulce de leche, lemon ice box pie, triple chocolate, peanut butter, chocolate and strawberry. The real kicker are the 50 or so toppings and sauces you can add to it. They have some very interesting topping choices like sour worms, rice krispy treats, trail mix, nerds, candied sunflower seeds, apple jacks cereal, lucky charms, graham crackers, and pop tarts. Their toppings are unique, strange, awesome, and delicious all rolled into one. They also have fruit toppings as well as many different sauces you can add if desired. The price for all this yummy goodness is only $.45 per ounce! Total for both me and my nephew was only $5.03. If you're a yogurt lover you should definitely try out Yogurt Mountain.

Kinda bummed on this place. Actually really bummed. Got there 15 min before closing & jethro had already sealed off all the toppings telling me it was standard procedure. Got my fro yo and still helped my self to toppings. I won't ever be back to this location. Screw you lazy hillbilly.

I love this place! Where I live im surrounded by Menchies and this far surpasses it. It was sooo good and the fruit (blueberries, strawberries) were very fresh.

As Steve stated Yogurt Mountain recently opened inside Books A Million. After reading his review and craving yogurt I decided to swing by while I was in the neighborhood. Basically self serve with around 7 or 8 machines and a ton of toppings. If you are expecting TCBY your gonna be sorely dissapointed. I tried three different flavors during my visit and found the flavor and texture lacking. In my opinion the yogurt here is one step above soft serve ice cream but in no means is a good representation of good frozen yogurt.

Located in Edgewater Mall, Yogurt Mountain offers soft-serve frozen yogurt in a variety of flavors, many of them zero fat. The varieties do tend to be on the sweet side, but not excessively so, and the sweet edge is more than balanced by the toppings, which offer plenty of tart options. The venue is small, with only a few tables, but much of the business is carry out, so there are usually seats available. The proximity to the book store makes it a great place to pause with book in hand.

I was making a habit of coming here each week to do some writing (and I always buy something when I sit at places). I left my computer charger here one day. When I came back in, the young man said he remembered getting it and putting it in the drawer, but now he couldn't find it. He gave an insincere "sorry" and walked off. The service has always been lackluster, but everything else is average. I will find somewhere else to write.
