This is just one fun place. My buddies and I have been going there for years after hunting and fishing trips. Todd, the owner, and his staff are friendly and great people. The beer is cold and the chicken livers are awesome!

We walked in the lounge area with our kids bc it was the only obvious entrance. When we asked for a table for 6, we were told it would be a few minutes. We were served drinks but waited over an hr and then were asked if we were waiting for a table. We were sat at two separate booths bc the people at the big tables were just taking, not eating or drinking. A staff member walked by us multiple times taking drink orders for other tables and never asked if we were ready to order drinks. We did get moved to a big table after asking, but again were completely ignored. We got up and walked out and were not even addressed!

If you don't have time to use the defrost on the microwave the new dam restaurant does. Just don't let the servers who touch their faces and hack into their smoker's hands handle your food. Other than that, enjoy the jukebox filled with old hip hop and the bartender who doesn't realize there is 7up in a 7&7. Stick to the bottled beer and ... That's it.

Todd and Sarah DO NOT KNOW HOW TO RUN A successful bar let alone a "restaurant and lounge". We were there Friday night and as were were closing out our tab the wanna be bartender CK or whatever her initials are gave my husband an amount that was high he then asked for an itemized receipt and was given a different total for our tab instead. We said ok but where's the itemized receipt? We got her post-it note with her slashes. I said are you kidding me!? She then asked me who the hell I was after telling her I was his wife she said well I feel sorry for you... being my FIRST time to this"New" place of theirs I was shocked. Sarah the owner was yelling calling us mother FU**ers. BBB with have a report also from me. Common sense note to a small business owner in a small town... You NEED to have people skills and your employees also. And Todd stop being p*s*y whipped by the b*t*h Sarah and your bar will be better...I promise, read all your other reviews and you will see she's the #1 problem

We have been to the Dam 3 times the 1st time we waited 1/12 hrs for food , we decided to give it a 2nd try and was better, so we went a 3rd and final time. You walk in there is never a greeting they brought the menus over after 5 or so min. Then we never saw them again they had maybe 10 tables with people at them. Had 3 people working but couldn't get it together! Very poor customer service the food isn't bad if you can get it! We left at around 15 min, and will never go back! We went to the Rusty Skillet where the waitress greeted us upon entering and got our drink order in a min. or so. They were just as busy at the dam but much more organized and friendly! I hate to see how long the customer will have to wait during Heriitage Days when it could be really actually busy they'll be there all day! Awful, LuAnn
