So good! Tasty and fresh food. I recommend the Gyro, the chicken Caesar wrap, and the grilled chicken breast wrap. Tons of toppings and add ons. About $7 per person, not bad. Definitely coming back here soon.

Great food! Healthy food that satisfies your junk food craving and makes you full! I love Pita Pit! The owner is so nice and genuinely cares about his customers. The employees are very nice and seem to really like their jobs. Great service and great food!

Used to be my favorite place in springfield to eat, but not anymore. Apparently they have vegan/vegetarian options on the menu, but get upset when you ask them to change gloves or utensils. If you have a food establishment and you want to serve those options, then you have to expect to change gloves and utensils. It defeats the purpose of serving vegan/vegetarian options if it gets contaminated with meat because the employees don't change their gloves or utensils after handling meat from the last customer.

Today was the first time I've tried pita pit, having never heard of a pita I had no idea what to expect. When I walked in one of the workers Allie greeted me very nicely and asked if I knew what I would like to try. I explained I'd never been before and she demonstrated her vast knowledge of the menu. I ordered a chicken quesidilla and it surpassed all expectations. It was actually better than any quesidilla I've purchased at Mexican restaurants in Springfield. Overall it was a great experience and Allie made it even better with her friendly customer service and knowledge of the restaurant. I would recommend pita pit to friends, family, and neighbors of springfield.

I love the Pit. The food is fresh and there are numerous healthy options. The menu even offers (an approximate) calorie content, for those who count cals. The West Republic road location isn't inundated with college kids and has a drive through. It's quick, too.

First timer here. Sorry, but I can't recommend this place to anyone other than hungover college kids on weekends. But then again, the sheer decibel level of the noise of metal chopping meat on the griddle might send splintering shards of pain through their throbbing temples. Furthermore, I don't get the chicken souvlaki raves...mine was dry, bland and cold. Why did I have to ask for it to be thrown back on the grill? Pita is the PITS! Maybe it was just a bad day for falafel.

Love this place. I call it chipotle and subway on steroids. Had the Dagwood and made it a true Dagwood. Everything but jalapeños. Good food that fills you.

Excellent selection to choose from in the menu. I was very impressed with the excellent customer service! They were fast in getting it done, but I did not feel rushed. They also suggested options to include, like veggies, cheeses and sauces, It is a family friendly atmosphere.

It's better than Chipotle and Subway, which is less a compliment than an expectation. You can't really go way wrong here. I'd definitely recommend throwing a hash brown in the breakfast wraps even though that might mitigate whatever health advantage you were aiming for.

Pita pit is a treasured find. They greet you pleasantly when you walk in the door. The building is always clean. Staff is friendly. The food is delicious. You are full but don't feel gross because the ingredients are fresh. This Battlefield location's "the local" is called "the chick Norris" and is by far my favorite. It's chicken in a hot/chipotle type sauce. It's absolutely delicious. My husband loves the gyro. If we lived closer we'd be regulars.

Pita pit is like a better healthier subway. I was so pleased to see this chain move to town. Service is always quick and friendly. There is a broad range of toppings and meats to fit any taste or diet. I personally love that Pita Pit does not charge extra for avocado or hummus. For people who like soda, Pita pit has one of those computerized drink fountains that lets you mix flavors for variety. Price is comparable to other fast food sandwich places.

great food! its pretty healthy too. much better than las margaritas that was in there last time. wish they gave you a plate with your food instead of just handing you the pita.

I am indeed a fan of the Pita Pit! It's nice to have a quick service establishment serving healthy fare in Springfield. Of course, how healthy your meal is is completely up to you. You start by choosing what type of pita you would like. I still have only had the chicken caesar, which includes chicken and bacon. The menu sets it up like a Caesar salad, but I end up totally revamping it to my taste. Basically I'm just looking for the chicken and bacon. At that point they begin grilling your choice of meat and steaming your pita. Pita steamed, they open it up to create a pocket and this is where the fun begins. You start with a choice of hummus (regular and red pepper), and/or avocado spread. Then you have a nice choice of greens to add (spinach, lettuce, romaine). After that the other topping choices are pretty extensive and include, but not limited to: tomatoes, cucumbers, two types of olives, onion, banana peppers... It's a great selection. Finally you add your choice of shredded cheese and dressing. There are several booths and a couple of tables available for seating, but this place gets busy at lunch, so your seating options may be limited. That said, these pitas do travel well. Pita Pit also has one of the cool new Coke Freestyle dispensers. So you literally have 100's of drink choices... but I still end up getting sweet tea. I highly recommend this place!

I'm so excited that we finally have a Pita Pit in Springfield! This place is amazing. It has healthy, flavorful food, great service and a kick ass soda machine. First the food. You have so many different options for your pita such as vegetarian, hummus spread, baba ganoush, avocado, and of course the tzatziki sauce. Did I mention that the tzatziki sauce is amazing? It's a yogurt based sauce with bits of cucumber and awesome in it. Then you get to pile on lots of fresh veggies on your pita and avocado - all included. Their meat is really good too. Personally, I'm a fan of the souvlaki chicken and the gyro. And now to the soda machine. It has every imaginable Coke flavor and drink in it. Where else would you find Diet Mello Yello with peach flavor? Or a ginger ale with raspberry? Yeah, I'm in heaven. My husband and I loved this place so much, we went there two days in a row for lunch. Yum!

I used to love Pita Pit... until I moved to Springfield MO. I ordered a hummus pit tonight that had NO HUMMUS in the entire pita! My husband ordered a spicey black bean that had no black beans in it - only they veggies ordered. We called in a phone order before picking up and they were not ready 30 minutes later for pick up. All in all, a poor experience. I hate to give a poor review because Pita Pit at other locations has been my absolute fav restaurant in the past but this is falling way short.

Fresh food and fast, friendly service, though slightly on the expensive side. The gyro meat was greasy and bland compared to the more spicy traditional style, but an overall excellent experience

This is a subway with pitas instead of bread. Frozen meats, eggs from carton and the service is very lacking here. if you want a good pita made with fresh local meats and veggies go to Migulito's Wrap & Roll Cafe.

Great food! All the ingredients are fresh, and the gyros taste just like gyros I have had in Europe. I loved how they have a wide selection of vegetables. I will be back.
