Their menu is quite extensive and a wide variety of veggies and the like. If you like spicy or hot food, they have you covered. If your palette is more bent toward the less spicy, they have you covered there too. The service was excellent and friendly. They will walk you through ordering and the possibilities. Highly recommend this place.

I'm pretty disappointed with the service here. I've been happy with the food every time I've been in...but I just cannot deal with their poor service anymore. The girls working make me feel like I should apologize for making them work. They treat me like its a chore to take my order and my money. There is always a lady there who is I assume the person in charge. Usually when an owner or manager is around employees are better behaved, but that isn't the case here. Today when I was there, a man came in and all the girls faces lit up. I was waiting for my food, and there were two ladies who had just ordered...we all got put aside for this guy who told them what he wanted and they went right to work putting the rest of us on hold. He didn't pay...so I assume he was a friend or family member. Then there was a girl not in uniform walking around making food...maybe for herself? I really don't know why she was back there, but it looked very unprofessional and kind of gross. I'm really just sad that this last experience has completely ruined Pita Pit for me. It's always been a really convenient lunch place, but I just can't tolerate bad management or service. It's one thing that can make or break a business.

I wish I could give it 5 stars because I LOVE their food. I am always looking for somewhere healthy that both my husband and I can order something we like (we are the typical meat & potatoes vs light veggies family), and we have found that at pita pit, HOWEVER their service is typical chain/franchise service. We still go there, just expect sterile, "fast-food"esque service, not warm, welcoming small business type service that many actual small business restaurants in springfield have down-pat.

First time - just driving looking for a new place to eat. I got the local favorite- the Chuck Norris. It was great. Great service. If I lived here this would be a regular stop.

I used to eat here 5 times a week and they messed my order up almost every single day. The last time the charged me for my pita and told me my card was declined when in all actuality it was not. They also took my pit points for the same transaction and still I did not get my pita. I spoke to the owners daughter she asked for my card number and i told her i was not comfortable with that but would like the person in charge to contact me. She told the owner that I freaked out on her and cussed at her when that is far from what really happened. The owner tried to make this right but her employees were incredibly rude during every encounter from then on. When the cook came to the window to present me food to me after everything had happened he had a dip of chewing tobacco in his mouth. GROSS!!! I then opened my order to find it wrong once again. I then decided to take a bit of a break since this was a recurring issue. I gave them two months, I was back a week ago. And twice in one week they messed my order up again. The last time the didn't steam the pita. And if you have ever eaten a non steamed pita you will know that it is not possible to eat as it falls completely apart before you can even take bite. Long story short this place has failed in my book on every single level and it is such a shame because the chain is an amazing idea that fits amazing into a diet plan. Never will I eat here again unless I am in a different city.

The fist time I went to Pita Pit (the location on Battlefield), I just wasn't that impressed. But I visited the location on Republic with my co-workers recently and my pita wrap this time around was super, super tasty, especially for the roughly $6 price. What was the tasty game changer in this case, you ask? I ordered a spicy black bean patty on wheat pita bread with feta cheese, cucumber, mushroom, tomato, green peppers, and romaine lettuce; I nixed any sauce, because I've got a stigma against soggy pita bread. The patty was DELICIOUS, supple in texture, and actually not very spicy at all, which I didn't mind. It was stuffed with corn and peppers as well. All together, the wrap was super fresh and filling, and I didn't feel like a total loafdog afterward because there was no grease to combat. Veddy nice. As for the aesthetic and the crew working, it was pretty much par the course for fast food joints at lunch time. The workers were all pretty no-nonsense, but efficient. Long story short, if I'm ever on the run and happen to be near either location, I'll definitely get the same menu item again.

A refreshing fast alternative to the basic sandwich/wrap assembly. Never been disappointed and usually my first choice for a quick lunch.

Fresh and real food. You can choose what you want on your Pita, with a wide variety including meats, vegetables, cheeses, spreads, and dressings. I leave full and satisfied without that fast food stuffed feeling. Friendly service.

I've given this place several shots and I've resolved that its a coin toss as to whether or not its a one-star experience or a four-star experience. The outside is inviting, the inside is clean, and the bubbly teen-to-early 20s staff are nice enough...but the consistency is ever in question. I've had drive through meals that were disastrously wrong and mushy as well as strikingly fresh and delicious at other times. If you go in, you can direct and observe them making your pita sandwich, much like a Subway. If you go through the drive-through, there is a fair chance your order will be either great or disappointing.
