Around August, this restaurant re-opened with new owners and management. This is the second time I've visited, both of which I've had 5-star experiences. My first visit, I had the general chicken, which was excellent. When I had finished all my rice, the owner came around and offered me more, which I politely declined (the portions are ample). My second visit, I had the orange chicken. The same thing happened with the rice, but this time they offered me 10% off for a year just because I work in the area. Both times I've had extraordinary customer service, which is something I can't say about most other restaurants in the area (Chinese or otherwise). I strongly recommend here for your next Chinese craving. The prices are on point, the food is delicious with large portions, and the customer service alone is worth the 5-star review.

Straight up absolutely amazing. Wife and I tried over 10 different places and this is our favorite one out of all. Prices are amazing and affordable food is so good. I highly recommend this place. They just started a delivery system which is also amazing because it was still very hot n fresh cook still only took 20 mins. We will always chose golden house first.

It's fine in a pinch, but definitely not the best in town. I know people who love it, but I think the chicken it too dry, and the sauce is runny and smothers your food. Oh and always ask for "sweet" crab rangoon! If not they bring you sour one's.. Who the heck eats sour ones, and how did they come to be?

As of August 2014 new owner took over. They completely revamped the menu with authentic Asian cuisine. You can eat for under 6 dollars or order a large and slit it. I have enjoyed every thing. This place is one of the best on town. The fried squid is on point. The best deal in town 3.50$

I've been to several different Chinese restaurants in Springfield, Nixa, and Ozark. This is probably one of the worst in terms of their food and flavor. The price is right but I ordered the Spicy Chicken special and the dish was not spicy whatsoever and the flavor of the sauce was just weird and not very tasty compared to any other sauce I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant. Everyone has their favorite Chinese place in Springfield and they all say it's the best but this one, just doesn't cut it.

Cheap, great food! Not many places will give 6 crab rangoons for 2.25 and their egg rolls are the best I've eaten! Drive-thru is always quick when I get off of work.
