My wife believes that if you eat here, you will poop perfect little golden turds because it's so amazing. However, it's just not that impressive. The food is ok, the coffee is ok, the atmosphere is stressful, and the line is usually painful.

Wonderful atmosphere. Great place to visit or study. Warm and cozy, inviting! Food is great.

This is my hometown area Panera. I've probably ate here 100 times since it was built in Rolla. Every time I'm on the mainland, especially Missouri, I have to stop at Panera/St. Louis Bread Co. Their breakfast items such as their breakfast sandwiches, my favorite is bacon and egg on jalapeño bagel (when it's offered) or everything bagel. It's so good. I love the cinnamon crunch bagel with cream cheese. For lunch their salads and paninis are my go to lunch. I like how they have remodeled this location since I've been home. I would of loved studying here in college. They just started where they bring your food to your table. It's kind of nice instead of waiting for your food.

Food good, not good or so-so. Is a matter of taste here. I toast my buttered bread on the griddle then add cheese, then grill both sides. They do not, it is good bread lightly toasted on one side. I taste no butter used inside or out. This could be the health food craze thing. I believe in the French thought, butter and fat is good thing... But moderation and getting exercise. The onion soup, is without distinction. Definitely NOT French, NO FRENCH MAN would lay clan to it. The cheese not baked, soup itself makes no statement. Salad croutons not a toasted baguette or french bread. Not served hot enough so send you to the burn unit, as some French Onion soups I have had. I can not tell what kind of cheese they used. There are several opinions on the cheese to be used, I like all but the Swiss Cheese. There is nothing to like or dislike, it is just there before you to eat. My mother would love it, she was offended by anything with flavor, after all her chili, it was hamburger and stewed tomatoes with a inch of salt. The mildest chili was to spicy for her. It is a matter of preference and taste.

I stopped while traveling - I was not having a good day and faced a long drive home. After stopping at the first drive thru off the highway wanting a cup of soup and a grilled cheese. Found they only had Chili ( not want I wanted ) . Then I remember that there was a Panera Bread near by - got a GREAT bowl of Wild Rice Chicken soup served with a smile and warm greeting by a young man in the Drive Thru ( Cody ?? Sorry did not get name but Mgr should let him know he is doing a great job - Saturday 6:30 pm ) . I am grateful for the hot soup and good service as I arrived home 4 hours later feeling much better than I did when I pulled in your drive thru. Thanks for offering a faster food - that is not fried and loaded with grease!

Panera franchise like all the others. Food is fresh and good. SERVICE IS STILL MARGINAL. Get a clue when 10 people are in line open more registers.

I stopped here because I'm driving back home and it was advertised on the highway and looked good. It was super busy, around noon, yet they didn't seem to be prepared for the inevitable lunch rush. There was only one cashier yet lots of people working. It looked dirty behind the counter and the one cashier did not seem to be in a good mood. I ordered the Fuji apple salad, as I have at many other paneras, and the lettuce was wilted. The dressing had a runny consistency when usually its creamy. Of course I will likely not be back, anyway, but I wouldn't if I lived here.

Cold meat in the hot panini. Girl took glove out of trash put on and grabbed a bagel. Yuck. Tables were dirty

Stopped in here on a Monday morning. The place was dirty, cashiers were short on patience. Ordered a bagel and they said the toaster was broken. Ok, that's fine. I went to the coffee bar to do it myself, no napkins. I asked for them and they said the manager just ran to the store to get some. WHAT?? The mens bathroom was disgusting, smelled of urine! We will not be back. Too many other good choices around.

Store uses Google Wallet as a payment option so payment is easy. Ask the team who they recommend. They often know of something you can order that is not menu specific, lime bagel with avocado and tomato. If you travel, get your rewards card so you can use it all over the country. It has saved me boatloads. Happy people here. I love coming to eat and read.

Oh the bagels and pastries! They have my favorite tea and though I don't go often, things are always good when I do! Nice staff!

Can't tell about the food as I haven't tried many things here and whatever I have tried so far was good to taste. However I can tell about the place. It's nice and spacious with the tables next to the fire place gives comfy feeling. It is not as big inside as it looks from the outside but of course has plenty of space.

My daughter is a GRAD student at MS. Her mother had visit from Louisiana. Had FIRST experience with Panera Bread at this location, when my daughter was in 2009 at FLW. We have to travel 60min to the NEAREST Panera Bread!!!T

I have lived in Rolla for more than 7 years working on my Masters and then subsequently the PhD. I owe a lot to this coffee joint and the wonderful staff for providing me with the unlimited coffee and tasty food. Your brain cells are on hyper active mode when soaking in the majestic rolling hills of the ozarks from this beautiful place. The staff stays with this place for ever and they seem to love helping the customers. I recommend anyone one travelling through i-44 to stop here for a cup of coffee and a nice fuji apple chicken salad. My staple for the last 4 years.

Best food all the time. I like the tomato mozarella panini and the tomato soup.

I'm always a fan of Panera food, but this place is not run well at all. The cashiers operate at a snail's pace, busy or not. The last straw for me was a run in with an extremely rude manager working there named Caroline, who needs to be fired. I ordered a smoothie that took a bit too long to make (I was standing there waiting for a good ten minutes and the place wasn't that busy), so I politely expressed my concerns to her. She felt it pertinent to put me in my place with an anger-fueled, not-so-friendly verbal scolding. I will not be returning to this establishment; furthermore, I have since influenced my group of friends (who were weekly regulars) to find another place for our weekly get-togethers. Fire this woman. Hire better cashiers.

For Rolla, Panera Bread deserves five stars. If you want a break from BBQ, Panera is it. Relative to the rest of the world, Panera is a 3-star joint. It's a chain with all the trappings of the chain. I'm surprised they didn't brand it St. Louis Bread, being so close to STL. And the coffee really sucks.

I love Panera. I had the half Harvest Chicken salad which was new yesterday with spring mix salad, chicken, bleu cheese, pecans, dried cherries, and pears with a cherry vinaigrette. I miss the summer strawberry salad already but this was quite good. I also had the half cuban which was maybe slightly overcooked but still good. The service was good and the food was ready quickly.
