I've ordered food to go here a few times. This is a fairly new location, right next to Chipotle. After you come in thru the main entrance, be sure to take the door directly to the right to get in line to order. I watch folks make that mistake of going thru the door straight in front, just to turn around and start over, lol. I did the same thing on my first visit there. No biggie, just a slight annoyance. The good: - Clean and spacious, I imagine this makes for a pleasant dining experience. - Generous portions of food, this is the only chinese place I eat at, so I am not sure if this is customary or not, but I feel like they give me a whooole lot of food :) - Ample parking available. - Price is alright. I usually get the 2 entrees with veggies, runs about $9 with tax. The bad: - Always out of the stuff I am ordering, I swear I routinely have to wait while they cook one of the items I need (veggies, chicken teriyaki, beef broccoli etc). This is chinese fast food, ain't it? Like... they seriously need to do a better job replenishing the pots. - Why are the ribs such a rare occurence, Everytime I go there I hope for the ribs and it only seems to happen 1 out of 5 times. If you have an official schedule for the ribs, please inform us. - Need better trained staff on the line. Cashiers are ok, folks serving your food make me cringe when they cut up my chicken teriyaki, like, please don't cut your fingers over there trying to wrestle with those giant knives. Only one time was there a guy who seemed to know what he was doing with the knives. We need more of him.

Checked out this new Panda Express location on Brentwood today and it's a cute location. It is confusing when you come in. If you're entering from the rear of the building when you open the front door the next door you should open should be to your immediate right to get in the line; the door in front of the first door you just opened takes you right to the dining room. I wasn't He-Man hungry so I got a kids meal and it came with lots of fixings, under $5 and just the right portion if you're trying to watch those holiday calories (I want to save on my calorie consumption for big festive meals and alcohol). The chicken (Sweet Fire Chicken) was juicy and flavored well with Chow Mein noodles (very dry if that makes any sense). Overall, this is a definite winner and I would certainly come back or even place a call in order on my way home. Good to see a standalone location in this area. The inside is nice and the staff was helpful and courteous and when you are going to a fast food joint those things are paramount. Thumbs up for the new Panda Express in Richmond Heights!

Great new location. More convenient that having to go to the galleria food court. Clean and efficient. Always fresh. Typical Panda Express food, which I happen to like.

This location is by far one of the worst Panda's I've ever eaten at before. I ordered a fresh two-entree plate of Orange chicken and shanghai angus steak with chow mein to go. The server told me that the steak would take 6 minutes to cook, and actually fixed the to go container with chow mein and OC that was obviously old. I personally have high standards for food that I purchase and I've noticed this over time, because most people seem to have a desensitized attitude about everything these days. Anywho, the shift lead/manager had to correct the server and made her put the food from the to go container BACK into the serving bowl behind the glass. WTF? Whoever came in behind me was more than likely served food that was already in a Styrofoam container. Yuck. My friend ordered and received his food, paid for both orders with the cashier, and we sat in the dining room. I waited over 6 minutes for fresh food, and the shift leader/manager was no where to be found, and the staff seemed to have forgotten about me. After suffering from extreme hunger my friend recommended that I go back to the counter and check the status of my food, because we could clearly see other customers coming to the dining area with the fresh entrees I'd personally requested and had waited on. I stopped the server on her way out to the dining area and asked if the fresh food was up, and she had no idea who I was or what I ordered! I reminded her of my order, then she asked for my receipt. I'm thinking, you've gotta be kidding me right? So she asks the cashier if I paid already, and the cashier was in disbelief of the question as well. She confirmed I paid for a to-go order, and the server returned to the serving bar to fix my order, only to bring the food to me on a plate for dining in. At this point I'm so incredibly irritated, I just asked for the manager. The shift lead/ manager magically reappears, and knows exactly what I need, and gets to it. She took the plate from the server and turned it over into the Styrofoam container, the put extra shanghai steak into the container and closed it. Needless to say, my to go order was messy and the bag it was in had sauce from OC and shanghai angus steak smeared all on the inside of the bag. Disgusting. I ate the food, but wasn't happy about it. Will NEVER return to this location. Too many imbeciles as employees for me to handle. Ugh.

The interesting about Panda Express is that even though it is Americanized Chinese food, it is done with just enough MSG that the food tastes great without leaving you feeling like you just ate a Big Mac meal. There's not much else to say that hasn't already been said about all the other Panda Express outlets across the country. So come here and try it! Oh and I almost forgot to add that the staff behind the counter dish out pretty generous portions of food.

Thank God for this location because I don't feel like going to the galleria plus it's close to my job. It is a bit confusing getting in and out of the parking lot and entering the building. I don't like that if you're wanting to go towards Walmart you have to go through qt parking lot. Other than that all exits go directly on Hanley the opposite way. It's a nice environment and the outdoor seating will be great one it warms up again. I always love panda express and in my opinion you can't go wrong with an orange chicken and chow mein panda bowl!

Just picked up food today from this location, and upon opening up the container, I see a long black piece of hair coming out of the container. Opened it up and the hair was under the rice, so I know that it came from the store. I called to let them know that they may want to toss their rice, but the girl brushed it off. Told me to come back and bring the food and they will make me a fresh plate. I wasn't looking to get free food, but to let them know. They didn't care...so if they don't care, then I don't care to go back to this location. Offered to replace the food, but only if I brought it back up there. I didn't have any time left on lunch to do so. She said to bring it back anytime this week or next and they would replace. Like I am going to keep it for a week? I did taste the Orange Chicken as I felt that was OK to eat, and it was spicy. Taste much different than other locations. My coworkers agreed that their Orange Chicken was spicy as well, and didn't have the same taste.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
