Ok, So here's the skinny, not really because i'm sure this dessert was close to 1000 cals. but anyway Wifey wanted a "concrete" for lunch today 8/1, so of course I oblige, because, remember......a happy wife makes for a happy life. She orders the 'Brownie Bling' a mix of delicious frozen custard, peanut butter, chocolate, brownie bites and a hole in the middle filled with FUDGE. Did you just read that????? Yes, she shared a little with me and the two kids. She shared a "little" I said. She had the entire concrete devoured in less than our 4 minute drive home. Sheridans is not the least expensive but DAMN that Sh*& is good.

Pretty much the standard by which frozen custard is served in the metro. Sheridans is my family's go to for this tasty treat. This specific location is kinda like the last hold out in terms of modernization. The drive through is narrow and doesn't have a speaker, so you give your order at the same window that you get your food from. I wish they had more pre-thought-up concoctions, but it's still damn good. Go ahead and skip Culvers and Freddy's and head straight to Sheridan's.

I haven't had a bad sundae yet! I love the fact that their pecans are roasted and salted, those little details are what makes the difference in that extra star! Also - perfect ratio between ice cream and topping.

All I can say is delish! I stopped on the way to our hotel with my wife and kids and my mom. Everyone got something different and it was all great, not good.

My favorite "ice cream" in Kansas city. Creamy, delicious, and addicting! My go-to order is the coconut joy concrete. I usually get a mini and that is the perfect size for me. If we ever leave Kansas city I know that I will crave this place and miss it!
