This was hands down the best meal I had in Joplin! It's a must stop and the owners are welcoming and friendly. Don't forget to get the baklava at the end of the meal...so good!

My husband and I ate here for the first time this evening. We both did like it, thought we had pretty decent service, and we know that we will come back here to try something else someday. I wish I could give a half star rating because 3-1/2 would be more accurate. However, because we weren't blown away I couldn't upgrade to a 4. So 3 it is! For our appetizer, we got the Spanakopita. I mean, you take anything and wrap it in phyllo dough, and you know it's gotta be pretty tasty, right? This one was filled with spinach and mushrooms and drizzled with a delicious cream sauce. While it could've used a touch of salt, it was pretty good and I'd eat it again. The house salad was very nice. Mixed greens with feta and a little Greek olive. However, it was topped with tabbouleh, and I thought it was a fantastic touch. Entrees were beef kebab for my husband and the cabbage roll for me. Hubby said the beef was a little tough, but it was pretty good. The sauce it was sitting in was really flavorful (I know, because I dipped my pita bread in it ... Yum!) My cabbage roll topped with marinara and Parmesan was ok. I was expecting some meat inside but this was just vegetarian (menu did not specify). It was fine with me, but others may disagree. The roll itself was quite large, very tender, and filled with a rice pilaf - which was also the same rice pilaf side that accompanied the beef kebab. Just FYI. I probably would never order this again. It wasn't to die for. I debated on getting the Chicken Jerusalem, and now I wish I had. I think it would have been more satisfying. Dessert was baklava. It was supposed to have been a la mode, but they were out of ice cream. However, it was warm, crispy, chewy, with great oat texture and delicious cinnamon flavor. Man, though ... That ice cream would have been perfect on it. Ah well. Our server was nice, and the manager checked on us often. Restaurant was small, quaint and brightly colored. I'm not sure when we will be back, but I know it will happen. Definitely want to try something else.

I'd give this place 5 stars based on just the food alone, but actually the whole experience was a good one. Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. We had several questions about menu items and he was very knowledgeable and helpful with that. The restaurant is located downtown in a neat older building which I really liked and is nicely decorated inside. Though I didn't really see the whole place as we sat in a booth that was close to the front and you couldn't really see much from it. Now then, on to the food! My boyfriend and I both had the Gyro with spuds. Which is a classic gyro that comes with these delightful thin sliced potatoes on the side. They kind of taste like giant homeade potoatoe chips, but without all the grease and and crunch. Mmmm, tasty! And the gyro... oh my word, the Gyro... what can I say, but delicious. I haven't had a good gyro in many many years and I'd almost forgotten how much I truly love them, but let me tell you it has all come back to me now! The pita was good and soft. The greens were crisp and fresh. The meat was succulent and flavorful, moist, tender and DELICOUS. And the tzatziki sauce was absolutely perfect. I truly think this was the best gyro I've ever had and I've had quite a few over my lifetime. This was my boyfriend's first experience with a gyro (I know, crazy right?!) and he actually wanted to go back for lunch the very next day to get another. We also shared some crème brûlée for dessert, which was very good. Not the best I've had, but still good. Nice crispy topping. This is a great local restraunt and I have and will recommend it to everyone. I know we'll definitely be going back again and again!

Great little place downtown. The food was excellent, even the little side salad! The service was great, the server was genuinely concerned with whether or not we liked our food and was really attentive to drink refills, etc. I'll definitely be back.

This place, hands down, is the best Greek restaurant/food I've ever had the privilege of experiencing. I loved it so much I had to purchase a huge to go container of the humus.
