Like many people have said, the service is horrible. They're rude and uncooperative if they get something wrong. There is a blonde lady who works there or used to work there, she was so nice and just an amazing person. Maybe she's just never there when we go? The food is pretty good, the service just sucks.

This is as good as it gets for Chinese food with in 20 miles of Harriaonville. My only qualm is there credit card machine seems to always be broken but besides that this is your standard Americanized greasy chinesse food.

I've eaten food from here many times and it's always good. However, today I picked up a to go order and the girl at the front desk went from taking money to answering the phone to helping cook food to serving food and then went on to make crab Rangoon at the front desk...and never washed her hands once. And didn't wear gloves. Sorry, but that's pretty disgusting.

I have been in several times before, usually picking up lunch for my coworkers. Tonight I decided to bring dinner home for the family. The food was great but I think with the size of the portions I'm going to need a bigger family. We started with the Crab Rangoon which was as always wonderful. They have just added Fried Scallops to their menu so being a seafood junkie I had to try those. Then on to the entrees, General Tso's Chicken always a favorite with the fried rice, of course. Not realizing how large that was I decided to get a second entree and was wanting to try something different so at the suggestion of the very nice lady at the counter I was introduced to a dish I had never tried before but I'm sure I will have again. Singapore Mei Fun, WOW thin rice noodles, peppers, onions, beef, chicken, pork, and shrimp cooked in a spicy curry sauce. We are stuffed and have a ton of leftovers for the weekend. Super nice people, great food, huge portions, and reasonable prices. So if your ever in the mood for Chinese food and around Harrisonville stop by you won't be sorry.

I used to love this place and I probably still would if it weren't for the bad customer service. They got our order wrong and then refused to replace it with what we actually ordered because "we can't do that" and "there no manager here" and "you'll like it, you'll like it!" Very disappointing.

ok, China Wok is a chain. We have them in springfield, mo. Do to someone in our group we ended up at the one in Harrisonville, Mo. If you like batter, this is for you. It was horrible. I'd NEVER eat there again. As, far as Springfield cashew chicken, NOT!!! Don't get fooled by the name. If you have to eat there, order honey chicken, the flavor isn't so loud. The key word here is BATTER, GOT SOME BATTER, EAT HERE. The flavor is horrible, even the eggrolls were horrible. don't eat here.

My family went here for dinner based on the positive? reviews. Um...we did not care for it at all. EVERYTHING was soaked in oil. And the oil tasted...old. :/ Crab rangoon was oily & sweet? Breaded chicken in dish was mostly breading and greasy at that. I actually threw more of my order away than I ate. The best part of my meal was the Coke and the fried rice. And the rice wasn't that good either. Really. Why was it so busy there? I guess it's the best in town, but that's not saying much. Very disappointed.

Very good Chinese sit down or to go considering location. Cheap, huge portions and very friendly staff. Have never had a problem with them highly recommended.

Best Chinese in Harrisonville by far. Clean, fresh and the portions are ridiculously huge. Prices are very reasonable. We had a running joke about their coupons for 10% off $15 worth of food. You can't spend $15 in here unless you are feeding a football team. All meals come with crab rangoon, egg roll or egg drop soup. We eat here at least twice a week.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city.
