Consistently good! Vegetable Fried Rice is the only one I have ever had that has more than a couple carrots and a few peas. My son loves the Crab Rangoon. They have a serve yourself sauce selection which is rare in Chinese restaurants. Clean premises and fast, courteous service.

China King is my go-to for Chinese take out. I have lived in Florissant for about 2 years. It was hard to find a decent Chinese take out near me. My husband and I tried three places at different times. We tried to give each place a second and third chance to impress us. It didn't work. When China King opened we thought we would give them a whirl. We have not been disappointed. The food is good, the staff has been nice and it place is clean. Hope that doesn't change.

Deeeeelicous and HUGE portions. I've had the Egg Foo Young and it is delectable. You definitely get enough for now and later. Their Fried Rice is amazing. Crab Rangoons HUGE and delicious. This is where we always go for awesome, close to home, Chinese food!!

We have been on a search for good Chinese in Florissant and I think we have finally found our place. The few okay places we have gone to are really slow and the fast places are not good. China King was very clean. The staff was friendly and fast. I was also impressed by how carefully they packed the bag. The crab rangoons are awesome. They are huge and filled with lots of cream cheese and crab. The shell is light and flaky. The chicken fried rice had nice size pieces of chicken and was piping hot. We also got the sweet and sour pork. Unlike most places where the meat is dripping in sauce, here the sauce was served on the side and you can use as much or as little as you like. We'll definitely be back.

11/1/2013 ** UPDATE ** ** UPDATE ** ** UPDATE ** 11/01/2013 DO NOT TIP - Owners steal all the tips ... Employees do not receive them. Something has gone terribly wrong in recent months ... The food has become Awful as of late. Lightly sauced favorites have become grotesquely unrecognizable plates covered in 30 weight motor oil. Crispy thin egg rolls stuffed with equally crispy and fresh contents, have become thick crunchy shells filled with asst. mushy contents. I am deeply saddened by these events and will search out new culinary solutions for my Chinese Food Addiction.

This place by far has the best Chinese in North County. It is the only chinese take out around me that has steamed dumplings, and the dipping sauce is outstanding. Also the crab ragoon is the best I've ever had and soaked in the dipping sauce from the dumplings blows it out of the water.

There are few things in life that can heal body and soul like China King in Hazelwood! While traveling north from Florida for summer vacation i contracted a serious stomach bug...however when I was faced with the choice of eating General Tso's Chicken, Special Fried Rice, and Crab Rangoon OR eating nothing and letting the sickness pass I said to myself, "Go big or go home!" I truly expected to go to the ER after venturing into two man sized helpings of deliciousness. My fearful delight transformed to overjoyed euphoria when my stomach cramps subsided and my body was completely healed within minutes! Twenty-four wonderful hours have passed and I am feeling amazing. Whether you are looking for seriously tasty "Chinese" takeout, to salvage a vacation, or for stomach liberating elixir, China King is the place to be!

OK after looking at Yelp and someone responding with China King when I randomly asked where I should go for Chinese, I haddd to try it. The verdict is yummy!!!! Now is it the best fried rice not quite, the best chicken not quite, but good enough to make me a regular customer. The inside is pretty spacious and you can eat there. It appears to be pretty clean and my wait wasn't terribly long. I really like that I can get my own condiments. I'm sure we've all experienced the stingy Chinese places that give you 1 soy sauce pack and 1 sweet and sour for your order that requires at least 4. I got the fried chicken combination plate with rice and an egg roll. The only thing I didnt like was the price. I'm used to paying under $6 for a combo plate and this was about $7.80 with tax. I will say it was worth it because the portion is enough for 2 people. There's a whole plate of rice and 6 wings (3 whole wings in half) and they are meaty but not overkill where you are questioning if its really chicken. I only finished half. I will be back!!!

This is the ONLY Chinese restaurant I will order from in the area. Tried others in close proximity and was very disappointed. I moved here for school and it was recommended not only by students, but also the faculty. I had people telling me I NEEDED to try the crab Rangoon from this place before I even moved here. Everyone at the college gives it five stars! Portions are large and I always have left overs for lunch the next day. Service is quick and pleasant.

Just for the record, we ordered a BUNCH of food for a birthday party. It was done quickly, it was delicious, it was hot, it was wonderfully great. My favorite restaurant closed down across the street so this was a "test" to see if they could fill the shoes, and they sure did. The crab rangoon were of a nice quality as well. I don't know why, but I base a lot on those little fried doodads.

There is a truth in the old proverb "Chinese Food in Middle America is a fate worse than death." This place is nothing more than a strip mall hold out where you are better off ordering the chicken wings and fried chicken with rice rather than anything sounding like a familiar Chinese dish. Never again!

We love this place and it is our "go to" place for Chinese food!! While it is not anything pretty or upscale - but it is clean and serves excellent food!! They have the best Crab Rangoon I have ever eaten! Great value too...Large portions for reasonable cost!! Staff is always very nice and willing to tweak orders to suit your needs!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
