Randy's Frozen Custard is becoming a staple in Columbia. The concretes are great, as are the sundaes and the shakes. Service is fast. The dining is outside, but who cares, it's a concrete. :-) Prices are also great.

The "vanilla" custard has an elegant texture, but only a mere hint of vanilla flavor. Chocolate is only slightly better. Scoops are small for $2. Avoid. McDonalds soft serve is much tastier at half the price.

We had a coupon, and it's walking distance, so figured we'd try it. It was ok. I prefer the ice cream we buy at the store (Alden's). I hear Andy's is better, so we'll see how that stacks up.

Went through the drive through and ordered a bunch of ice cream for this oh-so-hot day in Missouri. I had the large cement cup mint with chocolate chip. Yum. Large portions and great taste. Our dogs were with us and they gave us a small scoop of "veterinarian approved" ice cream ( Dad's a vet). That was pretty awesome.
