In Columbia for a business meeting I scouted the area near my hotel and found Angelos--for the first time. Glad I did. One of the best pizza's I've ever had. It's 5 stars. If you like fresh toppings and herbs and lots of them, go for the House Special. Only 15 minutes from order to carry out. The salad bar could be better. If there was a 4.5 stars I'd give them that. Oh, and I really liked the message at the door. Support locals over chains. YES!

I eat here with my group of friends almost every Sunday. I've been eating here with my family ever since I was little. The food is good, American (& some Greek) at decent prices. The staff is great & there's a lot of space. I definitely recommend it for everyone, especially picky eaters because of the wide variety.

Seriously, nobody has reviewed Angelo's yet? The place has been around for 25 years. I started going to Angelo's just after they moved to their current location in 1991, and since I have been an uncounted number of times. For years it was one of the default places we would go when we just wanted to get something to eat and not think about it, and it is one of the places I have missed most after moving to Texas a few years ago. We were in Columbia briefly over the holidays, and naturally that meant we ended up at Angelo's. Besides the addition of free wi-fi and the demise of the smoking section, it does not seem to have changed a bit. Angelo's accomplishes what they set out to do...provide good food for a great price. Nothing fancy going on here, but I have never been served a bad meal at Angelo's.

Angelo's is a great, good 'ol fashioned family restaurant. Sandwiches, pizza and Greek cuisine are the staples here, but the menu is pretty expansive. There's a little bit of everything here. The Pizza is great, but the Gyro is the way to go. Angelo's is very casual and the service is good.

Found this place by mistake, driving around mizzou country. LOVED it! Angelos is the epitomy of small family run business. The Pizza was Fantastic, better then that Shakespeare's everyone talks about being so good. Husband got a jumbo cheeseburger which was decent too. Love that the owner and his son can be found in place working hard right next to their employees.

Great, longtime, local establishment. Owner Angelo can be found here most of the time greeting regulars and visitors alike. The food is good and a great value. Their everyday specials offer something for everyone. Or try the all you can eat salad bar. One of the places that make Columbia great.

DON'T be fooled by any good reviews for this place. Got pizza and some gyro meat to go from here yesterday and was extremely disappointed. Ever have pizza where all the cheese slides off when you pick up a slice? Ever had pizza with virtually no tomato sauce and burnt edges? That's what this place is. Worst pizza I've ever had. Also the gyro meat is greasy and disgusting.

My family and I have been eating at Angelo's for the good part of 20 years now (both at their current and previous locations), and this place is still as good as it has always been. The staff is always friendly, they have unbeatable prices, and their pizza is unique and delicious. You seriously can't go wrong with any of their entrees really. This place is worth a stop any time you are in Columbia. It's a Mizzou tradition that lives on!
