I stopped about a week ago to get some food but were closed down for look like water damaged repairs. I latter found out that they had a fire and the newspaper said likely arson. I was sorry to hear that and hope you are to re-open soon. I hope to come back again when i back in town.

You're missing out if you haven't been to this place!!!! Seriously great food - had the baby back full slab, shared it and had two meals left over! It's fabulous tasting and the pork steaks are Unbelievable! They're closed Monday Tuesday but stop in on Saturday or Sunday - i promise you won't be disappointed!!!!!

There isn't much more in the little town of Caledonia, however it is home to the BBq company, and man is this some good eatin! I have eaten here a couple times before and all the visits have been delightful, and problem free. you get really nice portions, a nice selection of sides to choose from, and the prices aren't so bad you feel like you have been gouged out... be sure to check them out, you really won't be disappointed in the least bit! the service is fast and you will be glad you stopped!

For everyone living in the St. Louis area who travels to Johnson's Shut-ins, Black River, Arcadia, etc. - dont stop at the chains in Potosi or Farmington on your way home! Instead, treat yourself to Caledonia BBQ. You will not be disappointed! The food is great, service is quick and very friendly. Prices are reasonable considering the quality. There were eight in our group, including adults and children. We ordered a variety of things and not a single complaint from anyone! It is located in a beautifully restored historic building right along Hwy. 21. We stopped there last night on the way home from the shut-ins. It was the perfect ending to a great day!

This place has THE BEST BBQ!!! I always stop in after a day at Elephant Rocks or Johnson Shut-ins. The pulled BBQ pork nachos are so loaded you have to eat it with a fork. YUMMY!!!
