I love generally love Chipotle, but I don't know what the deal is with this location. A few of the people here are super friendly, but the overall staff seems less happy then most Chipotle locations. Which isn't the hugest deal to me, but I thought I'd note it. My burritos are always inconsistent here. Mainly because every worker doesn't seem to be trained the same. The portions you get depend on who's making your burrito that day. Sometimes I get a good/great burrito other times I don't. I almost always have to ask for more cheese because this location is more hesitant about applying hearty portions of it like what Chipotle is known for. Some good things about this location is the nighttime lines a bit move faster than any Chipotle I've been to. The staff is generally friendly though, just not as excited about making magically delicious burritos as other locations. I wish I could rate @ 3.5 if that was an option because it's still better than "OK".

I would give this location zero stars if possible. It's a chain so the food is no different than other locations. However, the horrible costumer service is obvious. This place is ran by kids. Disrespectful kids. We will never return.

The packaged tortillas are enough to send me running for the hills. Add in the bland food and I'll definitely pass. Every time I've had Chipotle the burrito shell was chewy and 70% of the bites I took were all rice. They don't have a mild salsa. They call it salsa but it's really just pico. When they don't mix up the ingredients it leaves for a pretty dry burrito unless you are taking a giant bite of sour cream. Most of my steak had quite a bit of fat or gristle on it. Not a fan.

I like this location. Belton gives way to the national chain stores without the crowds experienced in most of the metro. This location is nice, clean and a well designed use of the space. Had a Barbacoa salad and the helpings were generous. Didn't like the looks of the meat at first, but the taste was on par. I will be back.

This new location has only been open a few weeks so expect the lunch and dinner lines to be long. Still really good food and decent price. Getting into the lot entrance can be tricky at rush periods. To save a lot of time, order online and just walk straight to the register and be out in a matter of minutes.

I love chipotle and use to eat it every other day. But this location...I just don't get it. Nothing is ever consistent one day my burrito looks like it has cancer cause it's so small then the next day they are going through three tortillas cause they stuffed it so full and keep ripping it. The employees didn't get the training they should have on portion control nor customer service most of the time you start out with a really nice person but as you go down the line they seem to get more rude. The steak is always medium rare...like really I like mine medium rate but you don't sit there and cook 10-20 steaks at a time all medium rare. And like one of the previous comments said, the table right in front of the main entrance...ridiculous. No one is going to want to sit by a line of people who are most likely gonna be looking over your shoulder wondering what you got and so forth. For a very successful company more time and thought coulda been put into this store

I love Chipotle food, don't get me wrong. But this new location is poorly laid out. There is a large concrete table with stools right when you walk in and right where people wait in line to order. It is right in the way and because of that, no one sits there because they don't want to be eating and have a line of people right next to them.

Was excited when Chipotle finally came to Belton. Unfortunately, this Chipotle location is very stingy and is not what you would expect from a Chipotle restaurant. This is the only Chipotle I have visited where I hard someone say can I have some more please. Food is still solid and well prepared but the experience is a bit lacking.

I have always liked Chipotle. Their guacamole is about 50 cents too much, and I agree with the yelper that says the large table as soon as you walk in is poorly placed. But I sure do love me some barbacoa!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
