I'm so happy to have found Yangzee! I love Chinese, and having it MSG free is even better! PLUS they deliver. That's pretty much my trifecta. I haven't visited the actual restaurant, but I couldn't be happier with the service. Ordering was easy, and delivery was super fast. I ordered General Tso Chicken, plain Lo Mien, and Crab Rangoon. Everything arrived hot and very tasty! The rice was moist and fluffy, and the lo mien was just right. The chicken was cut beautifully and cooked just right. It was lean and had just enough sauce. Now, I'm not terribly picky, but I LOVE the fact that the broccoli was separated to one side of the container, and not all mixed in. That was a huge bonus for me, as I usually order my General Tso minus the vegetables. I'll order from here again and again. I may even drag the hubs to the restaurant. Give it a try!

Not bad. On our mission to find a Chinese delivery place, we started with Yangzee. As the other reviews state, they DO have some tasty crab rangoon - slightly sweet. Their egg rolls are also quite good - not your typical frozen egg roll. My husband loved his General Tso chicken & indicated that it was some of the best he's had, but I thought it was odd that it came without broccoli - just chicken & those red pepper thingys. We had a half order of the Hunan Veggies & they were pretty tasty and fresh. My standard for judging Chinese places is the Crispy Cashew Chicken & sadly, Yangzee fell short here. The chicken was overly breaded & they sent it with a side of watery gravy. Gross. I don't understand this whole gravy thing for crispy cashew chicken, and why it's so hard to find a place that can do this right (Sho Wok & Yong China are sadly no longer delivery options for us). I'm sure we'll order from here again, and I'll update my review if I find a different dish to be more to my liking.

Food was yummy-def. my to go place for chinese take out. Less greasy than other places and the ingredients tasted fresh and of good quality. BUT, the lady at the counter needs to SMILE. Or at least not frown. I thought I did something wrong as soon as I stepped into the place. Yikes.

Ordered Beef with Chinese Veggies and added cashews and General Tso's Chicken. Food was very good, veggies were fresh and crisp, Gen. Tso's chicken had a good balance of sweet and spicy, beef was tender. Tree stars are for our wait. We were in there for over an hour and were two of the 5 people there. We were also very hungry and did not expect to be there for a while. There was only an owner who took orders, cooked and delivered food to us. He was vey nice and apologetic. I hope they get a few more servers on board.

Yangzee's is a nice little Chinese restaurant take out joint that makes a mean chicken lo mein! This is where my husband and I always ate when we first moved in together, as it was minutes from our first apartment. They have great coupons and are always friendly. The wait time is minimal and the food is always fresh. If you're in Ballwin, check them out! Oh, and NO MSG HERE!!!!!

Very good Chinese food. Fast service and nice staff. I was worried that MSG free Chinese would taste different, but Yangzee is equal to or better than most Chinese takeout I have had.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
