We've eaten from China First on many occasions. Normally the food arrives fast, hot and as ordered. On our last interaction with them, we made a normal order of 4 entrees and some crab rangoon. The total was going to be around $25. Before receiving the total from the person taking the order, we asked if we could use a coupon that gave a $5 discount off of $25. The person taking the order said yes, and gave us our new total of around $20. A few minutes later, a second person from the restaurant called us back and told us since our total was only $24.85, that we could not use the coupon, and that we would be charged the full $24.85 without the benefit of the coupon. Before we even could respond, the phone was handed back to the original order taker and there was no further discussion. I am sure that whomever we spoke to was just having a bad day, but they are not the only Chinese Delivery place in town, and we'll likely not order form them again.

Good fast and cheap. I ordered online it was ready to pick up in twenty minutes. Great deal on crab Rangoon. 8 pieces for like 5 bucks. We got the combo plates for 3 people and lo mein and everything all together only costs 35 dollars. great price food tasted good. Will use this place again

Food was foul, discolored and soggy.I've eaten here before, I live 5 minutes away. The food was delivered to me on time. The driver was nice. The quality of the food was very poor. Specifically the chicken was discolored with a foul taste. The entire entree was soaked, the batter was not crisp, but soggy. When contacting the manager she refused any kind of compensation on the condition that she was running a business. Money was paid to this place for quality food, when this isn't met, our deal was null. Don't eat here.

I've had better Chinese food and I've had worse. I would not say this is the best Chinese food in the area, but it is perfectly passable and cheap. Just don't expect wonders.

I love this place. Use to go once a week. Crab Rangoon is the BEST I've ever had. If you like them full and sweet, this is the place. Food is cheap and good. Always hot. Great service. Been around for over 7 yrs and I'm still a loyal customer. I recommend!

I ordered food at 7:20. It arrived at 8:50 in a dripping bag, spilled everywhere. They gave me fried rice instead of white and my potstickers were freezing. I called to complain and was told to heat it in a sauce pan! Cook my own food?? What a generous offer! They also admitted that the potstickers were probably cold, but my other food wasn't. No, it was just spilled everywhere and not what I ordered. I told them to come get this slop and bring back my money. Never EVER ordering from there again.

Terrible service and soup too spicy to eat. Refused to give me a refund. I'll never go there again.

Within hours off eating delivery from this restaurant everyone in our family that ate a chicken dish became ill. When I called to let them know I received a canned speech about how they are careful to watch expiration dates and use safe food handling techniques. This was obviously not a suprise to them nor where they concerned. They offered no refund or discount on future meal. Which makes little difference, as we will never be ordering from them again. Telling them this also made little difference. Her response was,"OK sorry about that.". There are far to many Chinese restaurants in the area to not only take a chance of getting sick but not to be valued as a customer. Thank you China First for the opportunity to clean up vomit and take care of sick kids, you have made our evening.

Very disappointed! (Have had a pleasant experience here before however...) got the Orange chicken- it was so bad! I couldn't even eat it and the few bites I did have upset my stomach! Chicken was a weird grey color- vegetables tastes old, rice was dried out- crab Rangoon was "ok". Spoke with the owner and told her my problems, she just offered to give me more orange chicken, which I obviously didn't want, I asked if I could just have my money back, she refused, stating she's "running a business" and can't do it. Some business! I would have maybe given this place a second chance another time- but after her unprofessional attitude (hanging up on me) I certainly will not be! :( left hungry and out 40 bucks.

Super fast Chinese food. Best I have had in St. Louis. We get the sweet and sour chicken or the orange chicken. One combo is enough for two people.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
