Sometimes a dining experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth. This one did, and it wasn't from the food. Have you ever had a server who should have given up on the career field 20 years ago? We sure did. A complete wedding party plus family totalling almost twenty people and this lady looked as frazzled as if she was a first day teacher at a kindergarten with a full class of ADHD 5 year olds. My favorite highlights of the night: she asked a question to a bridesmaid "Can I get you a drink?" Then turned around and walked off. No opportunity for an answer, not like she wasn't about to answer that question or anything. She took a plate beneath someone as they were eating their sandwich...Who does that? Our server, that's who. Thankfully, there was a spare appetizer plate not in use that she was able to use. Woodbury isn't exactly a food Mecca, but save yourself the experience and walk across the lot to the Tavern or something. I guarantee you won't want to laugh out loud as your server commits multiple atrocities.

Had lunch reservations for eight - made and confirmed twice with return phone number. When we arrived we were told that the restaurant had been "bought out" for a business meeting. They had not bothered to let us know. Restaurant staff and hotel General Manager were not particularly concerned about the inconvenience. Another customer there for lunch indicated that last week they were "closed" to the public also so apparently this is not a "one time only" event.. No offer to compensate in any way.

Alas, the $2.00 Happy Hour wine is no more. They have introduced a new upscale line of wines - Stag's Leap and Columbia Crest H3 at $10.00 and $7.50 per glass respectively. Happy Hour takes $3.00 bucks off so $7.00 or $4.50 a glass, a lot more than the old $2.00. All good things must end I guess. Domestic beers and well drinks are half off. The appetizer specials $4.00 and $5.00 and are good.

Red Rock offers a Happy Hour you cannot beat, especially for these economic times. A decent glass of red wine for $2, how can you go wrong. The appies are OK, however, the price is right. Comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Have been here several times over the last couple of years, always good service.

I spared myself of a horrible meal here merely by asking about the menu with the server. Any chef that has a "churrasco" sauce for shrimp is inexperienced. "Churrasco" is a form of grilled meat not a sauce. Churrasco is typically served with chimichurri sauce. Their menu was like reading the journal of an inexperienced chef. I would expect more from a Starwood property. I ordered pizza delivery rather than wasting my money.

Had lunch at Red Rock yesterday! :-) Great ambiance, cozy fireplace, wonderful service, best tomato soup I've had, I think, EVER, great ravioli appitizer! Why aren't people talking about this place?! I'll go again and again!

Happy hour is no longer happy here. They've done away with all discounts on beer, wine, and liquor. I see no reason to visit in the future.

Ughh, I have tasted better and this is a Sheraton restaurant. I had this seafood pasta dish with mussels, shrimp, and squid. It was all over cooked and too much salt. Plus, the price was a bit steep. You are better off to just head over the Shops at Woodbury or the restaurants across the street.

A best bet for happy hour: $2/glass wine and great selection of small plates! We live in Woodbury and didn't know there was a restaurant in the new Sheraton hotel. We went there for happy hour. I read the reviews posted here and I was skeptical that any suburban chain hotel would have good food. But a happy hour meal is a small investment, so we gave it a go. TA DA! It's not awful at all. In fact, it's pretty good. I'll just rave for a moment about the TWO DOLLAR house wines. We both had their shiraz and found it very, very good. This is offered only during their happy hour. The small plates were a good value: nothing outstanding, but all fairly good. Do try the tapenade if you go; it was salty with some balsamic sweetness. It was the best thing we had that night. (Dear kitchen, I suggest you use a better bread for the bruchetta plate. It should be served on warm and crunchy toasted baguettes.) We each had two glasses of wine and we shared four small plates. The total was $25.00. How can you beat that? Tip: Happy hour is every day, 3-6PM and 9-midnight.

I have ended up coming to Red Rock Grill for nearly all of my meals while I am here for business! The quality of the meat is very high. They make full use of the plates and make their meals look appetizing. Their service is friendly. Half of their menu is switched out every mont. Two of my favorite dishes are uploaded- The Walleye Sandwich and the Bleu Cheese and Beef salad.

Unable to cook a steak. At the very least they...comped our drinks? First time will be the last time there.

This was one of the oddest restaurants I have ever been to. We visited for happy hour on a Friday evening. The restaurant is located in the Sheraton in Woodbury. The ambiance is welcoming enough; dim, dark wood, fancy chairs & tables, & an upscale feel, but not enough to make up for the food & service. We sat @ the bar & perused the happy hour menu. We ordered a few appetizers. The food was just meh & the choices were lacking as well. The restaurant only had bottled beer, no tap. :( The servers seemed unorganized and flustered, although there were only two bar guests & three tables. Overall, not a good impression. The vibe was just unsettling & uncomfortable.

I've been staying at the hotel once a month for the past 17 months. The worst part of my stay is having to deal with the excruciatingly slow service in the Red Rocks bar and grill. The waitstaff is clueless and unable to service more that one table at a time. Thankfully, there is a new place, The Tavern, which is within the parking lot. Suggest going there instead unless you are ok with waiting forever for the waitstaff to notice you.

This review is of the restaurant in the Sheraton, not the Sheraton itself (which is very nice). Wound up at the Red Rock Grill for business dinners two days in a row and had two of the worst meals of my life (and I've eaten some pretty bad things). They were able to screw up salad. No one, in a group of nearly 20 people enjoyed their meal, it is just that bad. The service is friendly, but generally slow and error prone. I would highly recommend just about anywhere else in a short drive from this location, even the chain restaurants.
