Good thin crust pizza. We had shrimp, pepperoni, and garlic. It was excellent. They do not have beer or wine. Seemed like a nice place to take the family. Clean/friendly. They have a large toy train running on a track up near ceiling level.

Good food and some of the best service I have ever had.........the waitress was so good she inspired me to write my first review ever!

Ordered a salad and pizza for delivery - told it would be 45 min. An hour and a half later, it finally showed up - cold, kinda nasty. I'm sure it would have been better warm. But it wasn't. Disappointing.

Our order was for delivery to our hotel room. It was a purely average experience. Had one of their house specialty pizzas. It was good, albeit lukewarm when it arrived. Avoid the salads. We got the full size Caesar with our order and it was nothing more than store bought bagged romain with packaged croutons and dried Parmesan that comes in the shaker cans. On top of that the garlic bread it was supposed to be served with was missing. You'd be better off stopping at the grocery store and grabbing a bagged salad kit, because that's what this was. Anyway I didn't think this was much if any better than Dominos. Certainly not 2x the price better.

I'm love with their cheese pizza. Literally. It's FABULOUS! Fast delivery, always hot, forever delicious!

While traveling on business, I decided to try out a local pizza shop. Stepping in to this place feels a little like stepping back in time. It's not modern and I liked that. I ordered the cheesy bread as an appetizer and it was delicious. For the main event, I chose a large meat on thin crust with jalapenos. The pizza was fantastic. The jalapenos were actually a bit warm which is welcome since I love spicy! Some places have jalapenos that you can eat like pickles without breaking a sweat. This place is not that! The only thing I would have done to improve my experience would have been to cut back on the number of cheesy bread I ate so it could have been replaced with more pizza! Next time I'm in this area, I will be back.

I like things, places that came into existence the same year I did. I had a Seeburg Jukebox of that vintage, and Broadway Pizza and I were born the same year. Back in the day I used to visit the establishment, they had one location, in Northeast Minneapolis (which isn't northeast, any more than mid city in New Orleans is in the middle of the city!), and it included an assemblage of old railroad cars. Today they have over a dozen locations around the Twin Cities, and I visited the one in Richfield, which is a 'southern' suburb out near the airport and the Mall of America. I ordered my usual, sausage and olive, thin crust, of course, and the very pleasant server delivered the goods (and numerous soda refills) promptly. The crust was crispy and chewy at the same time, if that's possible. Toppings and cheese were very generous, and the sausage had some (to me) unidentifiable spice that made it unique (different from traditional Italian "hot" sausage (which isn't hot) or Italian "sweet" sausage (which isn't sweet)). This makes Broadway's sausage in a class by itself. I liked Broadway decades ago, I like them today. They have become my Twin Cities old-timey go to place, since the demise of the venerable Cafe di Napoli in downtown Minneapolis. Sniff. In addition to pizza, Broadway has subs, salads, appetizers and pasta dishes available; eat in, take out, or use them for catering.

I was new in the Bloomington area and looked up this place online. It was delicious. One of the best pizzas I had in a while. The staff is very helpful and deliver excellent customer service. I was able to watch them make the pizza in their kitchen. Great place and will come back.

I'd like to give this place a 4.5, since I'm all about the halvsies... I have my Ph.D in pizzaology and sandwichary, so as for pizza goes, the rule of thumb is whoever can 'master' a simple, classic cheese pizza has aced pizza 101! That being said, while Broadway is a chain, I am really impressed. I am a food snob, so it's hard to impress me and I am a tough critic. But I actually do LOVE their cheese pizza! I... so kudos! The sauce has some zing to it and when it comes down to cheese it passes the Robert Irvine's 'cheese on pizza' test... which is: take a slice and hold it sideways, if the cheese with the toppings slides off the slice then you know it 'blech' cheese. It should be yummy, ooey gooey goodness! It is known for it's sausage pizza, I tried it, it was alright, I stick with plain cheese or pepperoni at this place. While I haven't eaten at the establishment, while waiting for my pizza, the pizza makers are SO nice, personable, and polite. It's a great price point too for what you get! And you get plenty! Even the personal size enough for 2 meals for me. So make your BROADWAY for some PIZZA!!!

We just arrived to Minnesota and this is the first restaurant we decided to eat at for dinner. Upon walking in, I was very delighted by the old, classic interior. The server was very friendly and seated us right away. We decided to order the appetizer platter and meat on Broadway pizza. It was yummyyyy! Loved it - recommend!

YUMMO Broadway Pizza is a Pizza Classic lovers dream and homegrown in Minnesota too! They offer a ton of variety and you can make your own pizza. Three sizes small (honestly could prob feed two people) Medium (fed the three of us eating) and a large size. The price is just right for a thin cheesy pizza medium will be right under $20. They also offer rootbeer with a frosty mug no refills though! The pizza came out fast right out of the oven and the service was great. I requested just 1 cheese bread noticing they offered in a 4ct and they prorated the pricing for just one! The pizzas are also cut into squares not triangles but squares are so much better anyways! Summer months its nice to eat in front of their patio outside of the front of the building only downer its facing a busy lyndale ave street.

We were visiting from out of town and found this after searching Yelp. We were not disappointed! The pizza (pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese) and Italian cheese bread were great! Service was friendly and quick. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

The pizza was good. Although it was cut in an odd diamond shape that made it difficult to eat. I'd say cut it in little squares...or stick with classic slices. The service was great. Very nice and efficient server. The only issue is they need to do something about the odor. I don't know if their vents need to be cleaned...or maybe they need a bigger vent system. but the place had a very unpleasant odor when i walked in...and now it's in my clothes. The restaraunt itself was very tidy...clean tables, chairs and floors...but the odor will keep me from coming back and sitting down for lunch (maybe next time i'll take it to go).

Broadway is the best pizza I've had in the past 4 years I've lived in the Twin Cities. If you are not into greasy food this may not be the best place for you. I'm all about the flavor of sause and a good amount of cheese, this creates more grease...but it tastes SO good.

We ordered delivery. The pizza was incredibly small for a medium and the price we paid. It was cut in unique diamond shapes. The pizza was good, but not the best I have had.

Gotta love the Broadway. We were there for lunch, service was awesome, fast, friendly and the food was tasty. Pizza came fast and was well made. Exaclty what you would expect from Broadway along with a good 19-19 root beer.

Excellent pizza! Warm family friendly atmosphere, tastes like authentic Italian flavor! We stumbled upon this place after a day at MOA, most restaurants were closed, we needed refueling after shopping and 6 hours at Nickelodeon Universe. Draft Root Beer not too sweet, perfect complement to cheese bread and a large classic deluxe pizza. Perfect for a family of five, which includes two teenagers!

Had the perfect pizza -veg. Amazing taste and the small pizza is too big:) The service is pretty good as well!!

I'm typically a thick crust girl, but Broadway Pizza makes me think I've been doing it wrong all these years. I like that its kind of greasy to make it all melt together, but its not too greasy that it weighs you down. They also bake their pepperoni under the cheese so it all melds together perfectly. Yum! Service has always been fast and courteous. Today I ordered take out for a working lunch meeting and they offered to open ten minutes early so I could be right on time for my eleven o'clock. I will definitely be coming back to this location.

So .... it was pretty good but I've had better. We'll probably get it again but there are several other places we'd go to first. Old school on the inside and the servers were nice. Flavor was pretty good and the toppings were solid. I grew up in Chicago on thin crust pizza so I'm kind of a pizza snob. Again, not bad pizza if you're in the area. A heads up tho ... they don't serve beer. That's a tough one to overcome ;-).

Their hot turkey hoagie is amazing!! Also the smoky chipotle wings to die for but the best part is one of the pizza makers I think his name is Nate he is always so chipper and polite and funny other then the amazing food it's his personality and how welcoming he is for the reason I will keep coming back here

Pros: Yummy pizza, the cheese is amazing! Great family atmosphere. Great friendly service. Cons: I wish they served coca cola. More than I like to pay for pizza.

Best pizza place ever! The pizza comes out fast and is sizzling hot. I had the classic deluxe which comes with a lot of toppings, sort of like a supreme.

What this place lacks in ambience to makes up for in great homemade flavors. Being from out of state, we didn't know what to expect and were very pleased with the experience. The thin crust and sauce from scratch are a powerful combination no matter how you like to top your pizza. Highly recommended!

Great pizza! We got the classic deluxe, and it was ready for pickup in 15 minutes! We were floored how fast it was. Not only was it fast, it was delicious. The staff was very friendly, too! We would come back again.

The Meat at Broadway pizza was excellent! The 10 inch was way more than enough for two, since we had an appetizer of tasty garlic toast. Service was fast even when they were full.

Must say, the best Pizza in the Minneapolis area! Excellent service, fantastic pizza, bar none and now have my daughter and family raving about the excellent food and service. Would highly recommend to anyone that loves good pizza with a family friendly atmosphere. Going back every other week from now on! Must keep my weight down but the pizza is to good to put down! Enjoy!

By far the best pizza south of downtown Minneapolis. I wouldn't recommend the sandwiches/hoagies, but you can't go wrong with the pizza.

  • Simply Put The BEST pizza on this planet! I so miss dining on their delicious pizza. Trust me, when my family visits MN, Broadway Pizza is our first meal there. The crust is perfectly thin, perfectly baked. The toppings are plentiful. The cheese is out-of-this-world yummy. Yay- they cut the pizza into squares, which makes it easy to eat. Trust me, I've searched for a even somewhat comparable pizza, yet so far haven't found that perfect pizza ANYwhere else.

  • Michelle K.

The pizza comes on a thin crust and always seems to have just the right sauce, cheese, toppings, crust ratio. It is very tasy stuff. It's a casual place, with quick and friendly service.

I'm back on the road again! This time I had a hankering for some pizza and Minneapolis has some "kick ass" places for pizza. I did a yelp search and this place came up with a multitute of stars and the promise of good pizza. Broadway pizza is located in a strip mall across the street from an apartment complex which promises a steady supply of business. Strip mall parking is rather limited but not to fear, this doesn't seem like the place that would have lines out front. Broadway is a franchise and this particular location seems smaller than some of the others that may have been written up in this site. Inside is clean with a number of wood benches and tiffany lamps which kind of reminded me of Shakey's. Beer selection is limited to one, Bud light I believe it was. Broadway offers a variety of appetizers, salads and sandwiches, but their claim to fame is thin crust pizza. I ordered the "Veggie Works" special. Pizza came rather quickly, about 10 minutes or so. To be honest, it was a bit of a disappointment, crust was underdone so the pie was soggy and kind of a mess to eat. Plenty of toppings but it was kind of like eating raw seafood. Texture was just wasn't what it should be. Service was nice, place was clean albiet "family freindly" but pizza was a disappointment. Not exactly cheap either as 12 inch Medium set me back seventeen bucks and some change.

Believe the hype! The pies are tremendous and the staff is even better. I'm an out of state visitor who found this place on Yelp last month and have been coming here at least once a week since. I love to get any combination as long as it involves bacon and extra of their outstanding sauce. Even the cheese has a different bite to it. They treat you like a long lost relative or regular when you show up.

When I was growing up -- many. many moons ago, there was this fantastic pizza in a seedy bar - where kids really don't belong. But that pizza was soooo good that my aunt took us there anyway. And boy, am I glad that she did! As the secret got out, more and more people began taking their families to this neighborhood bar just for the pizza. I really hadn't tasted anything quite like it - and haven't since. That's why, whenever I'm in town, I MUST have Broadway Bar pizza. If I can't have it, I don't want any other pizza. It's just that good to me. I just polished off a few slices here in my hotel room and am grateful that I am staying at a place where they deliver. It is amazing to me that after all of these years - this place never disappoints me. No matter which one I visit, whether it's the flagship store or any other -- I am always thrilled with my food. Today I also got a Caesar salad also because I feel I need to eat some greens -- and it was truly delicious as well. Those croutons --- are exceptional. The salad tasted to me like the high end fare I've gotten at much more expensive places. Needless to say, I am one happy camper! Thanks Broadway Bar -- for this fantastic pizza that I always look forward to having when I'm in town! Each bite takes me back and I get to relive lots of fond memories with my Aunt Joyce. The only thing missing is she herself. But it doesn't make me sad - because any way that I can remember her - it is always a very good thing.

This place looks tiny from the outside. Don't let it fool you. We arrived about 7:30pm on a Friday night with 8 people (6 teenagers & 2 adults) in our party. One went in to verify they had a table and they did. Once seated the waitress was very friendly. We ordered two plates of Garlic Cheese Bread and two large Meat at Broadway pizzas. Both were great. The garlic cheese bread was piping hot. There was enough cheese on it. Some places seem to think less is more. Not here. It was awesome to have that much cheese. The pizzas came out and they were right out of the oven. Be careful you don't burn your mouth. You know that it wasn't sitting there waiting for the waitress. She grabbed it as soon as it was cut. Speaking of cut, they cut the pizzas into squares not sliced. I like squares because you don't have to big a slice that way. The pizza was piled with toppings and cheese....all the way to the edge. Very little crust, which is the way I like it. As you may have guessed I love pizza and take it pretty seriously. My wife will eat it but it isn't one of her favorite things and she was raving about how good the pizza was. All 6 of the teens loved it too and some of them are almost as serious about pizza as I am. Anytime I am in the area again I will make sure to stop here!!! I hope they continue to expand and maybe even open a location in the Milwaukee area.

Best Broadway Pizza in the state!! Happy 60 Year Anniversary! The pizza sauce is bold with a little spice. Thin crust is the only crust available but why fix or change what you're the best at making. Service is great with a small intimate atmosphere. Medium Pepperoni, Cheesy Bread & 1919 Root Beer in a frosty mug is my recommendation.

Had delivery, so can't comment on the restaurant. Very close to our hotel, very thin crust, tasty sauce. A very good example of Midwestern thin.

I haven't been to one yet and happened to have a coupon. This is the closest one to St. Paul. The pizza is good. It is super thin, and it could use more sausage, some pieces didn't have any. I wouldn't mind trying other items. Service was good, she didn't talk much but gave off a friendly vibe. We got there from 77N which got us there a lot quicker in rush hour traffic.

This branch of Broadway Pizza serves the Richfield area. The guys there are very friendly and courteous. Crispy, greasy thin-crust pizza with tangy tomato sauce served sizzling hot out of the oven. The white pizza was really good, while the combination was also very good. The pizza was kind of pricey, and the large was not very large at all, IMHO. Interestingly, they cut their pies into small rectangles into slices; I didn't really like that b/c of the small edge pieces that result, with almost nothing on them.
