For a very small town, one person run bakery, this place is fabulous! The owner is very friendly and helpful! The selection was fantastic for such a small shop. When I walked in, it smelled truly amazing! I got a dozen assorted donuts and treats.. Everything we tried was delicious and I am anxious to finish off the box! We will definitely be regulars here!! If you are driving through it's a must stop! The only day they are closed is Mondays!
Great service and food is good. Also priced reasonably. Try the juicy lucy. Shakes are made the old fashioned way.
We have given it three tries - all three times we were disappointed. Slow service and definitely over priced for the quality, beverages and small items get forgotten. The last straw was our party of 3 (one of them a 5 year old) waiting over 45 minutes for breakfast with only three other small tables, when the food came the pancakes were almost burnt on the outside and raw in the middle and couldn't be eaten. When we mentioned it politely when we paid we got blown off with a false smile. Mistakes get made but making up for mistakes with genuine courtesy would have been better. Very disappointing. We wont be back.
Good diner food, homemade and in a cute fun fifties decor! Gotta love roast beef Wednesday's! Good little corner restaurant in Ottertail! Specials are great and burgers always good.
Our favorite local breakfast spot. Large portions, fast service. Sometimes there is a wait due to popularity. A little on the expensive side but it is worth it. Hometown cooking with a smile.
I stopped in for lunch while taking a break from fishing . There were a total of 3 people in the diner and the service was terrible. I ordered the monster burger and fries I figured it's hard to mess up a burger. I was wrong the meat had a bad taste to it and my fries were mushy and undercooked. I would have complained but I didn't see the surly waitress again until she brought my check without a thank you or how was your food ( uneaten ). I will pack a lunch next summer when I go on my annual fishing trip to Minnesota.
No modifications allowed for any item on the menu. After getting up the courage to ask for chocolate chips in my pancakes (I'm an adult), I was ridiculed and bullied for such a childish request. I was told that "maybe if I was 5 I would be able to get chocolate chips in my pancakes." My response was "well can you at least try?" The server wouldn't even ask the chef to do it because "they're too busy back there." My pancake was served with no chocolate chips. :( Isn't it their job to make me food that I order, and then I pay them for it? Bad customer service Betty, and decent food.
