Very nice place. Reasonable. Great fresh food. Now that Minnetonka blvd is closed at hwy100 it's a very peaceful place to sit outside.

So many things are wrong with this place: *LOUD acoustics *coffee shop atmosphere minus the cozy/attractive areas *really SLOW service *tough, rubbery crepes *white fishy salmon I could elaborate on each of those points, but I think by the one star you can tell I wouldn't send ANYONE here. Who wants to read more terrible details?

I live in the neighborhood and was very excited to try this place. On Mother's Day my son and I stopped in for breakfast. The place was empty but I figured it was early and maybe there would be more customers latter. Unfortunately we were never helped at the counter. A lady was in the back chopping something and looked up at us when we walked in but after 5 minutes never came to the counter to help us so we left and had breakfast someplace else. This may be the reason no one was in the place.

Fantastic neighborhood gem. The food is high quality and has a great Israeli vibe. I feel like I should be looking out the window at the Mediterranean, not at St. Louis Park City Hall. And the people who work here are very nice. I'm not kosher, but I AM a nice Jewish girl and a semi-vegetarian, and I really appreciate this place. But even if you're neither of those things, you need to try this place out because the food is like nothing else around. (The food is milchik kosher-- which means dairy and fish, but no meat.) What to get: you can't go wrong with the crepes. I've tried a few, but the lox and cream cheese is amazing. The sweet ones are all good too. The crepes may seem a little pricey, but they're quite large. One is more than enough for a meal. I've yet to try the sandwiches on the menu or the falafel plate, but iI can't wait to try them. I also LOVE the avocado salad! This comes with what appears to be at least one ripe, beautiful avocado, onions, tomato, and a sweet-tangy sauce that pulls it all together. I could seriously just eat a bowl of that for dinner. There's a bunch of other salads on the menu that look intruging (like a Korean salad) and I will have to try these when i can tear myself away from the avocado salad. The baked goods look REALLY good. So far, I've only tried a ginormous chocolate biscotti, which was homemade and fantastic.

Four of us ate at Vitali's Bistro on a Saturday night, and I can't say enough good things about the food, but our perception of the food might have been influenced by our state of near-starvation by the time the food arrived about 40 minutes after ordering it. To be fair, Vitali's had just begun offering live music on Saturday nights, and clearly did not expect the crowds that came with it. Every seat was full, and they even brought out folding tables and wiped the snow off the outdoor furniture to squeeze more seats inside. But all the seats and staff in the world can't speed up the preparation of the food, especially for something like crepes that need to be made one at a time, to order. That said, the food really was delicious. The salmon vegetable crepe was the agreed-on favorite, but the paninis and pizza were excellent too. Vitali's is a kosher restaurant, but it's one of the rare kosher restaurants that is completely worthy of the business of kosher and non-kosher diners alike. In other words, it's good, not just "good for kosher."

This is great for breakfast or lunch. I had the Greek Salad and red lentil soup. The service was very good and the staff extremely pleasant.

Went here for breakfast while traveling, and had the breakfast burrito. My burrito was piping hot, well cooked, fresh, and attractively arranged on my plate. The owner actually works right at the counter, and even introduced himself, and his wife and son, who happened to be stopping by. This place has an alluring and international decor, with retro posters of exotic locals, seeming to be travel advertisements from the 20's and 30's. There is delightful international music softly playing in the background, as well as a children's play area, a great children's menu, and I understand that at night, Vitali plays concerts. I sat right near two of his guitars, sitting in stands, ready to be played. Overall I was really impressed with this coffee shop/ restaurant. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I were super excited to try this place due to all the great reviews. We went for dinner and the place was very nice and cozy, but once we tried the food we were extremely disappointed. I have been to Israel and had a lot of kosher food and this was just plain bad. I had the salmon and veggie crepe and I am 99% sure the salmon was out of a can (it was white in color and tasted extremely fishy). We really don't understand how this received so many great reviews. We are contemplating going back for breakfast but not sure that we will take the risk.

If you haven't been to Vitali's Bistro (5101 Minnetonka Blvd, St. Louis Park) then you've been missing out on a GREAT little restaurant. I've driven by it a couple of times and often told my wife we're going to try it, but I'll admit that we were both a little scared away by the term "kosher." We grew up in Iowa where nothing is kosher (except for the dill pickles that you buy at the grocery store) and weren't really sure what to expect. Well, turns out that "kosher" was just a way of preparing their food and it had no effect on the taste of anything. This place is the bomb. There isn't a huge menu, but it does suffice as a "bistro" and covers all three meals of the day including dessert (plus ice cream) and coffee. I have heard that their Blini (crepes) are out of this world good but didn't try any on my first trip there. Since there will most definitely be other trips, we'll be sure to sample those later. They have pizza, salads, soups and sandwiches and you can even get breakfast there. Bagels, omelets, breakfast burritos and authentic Hebrew lox (salmon smear for your bagels). Never had it but I will try it one day. I have very little experience with falafels and decided to go ahead and sample the Falafel platter at Vitali's. These are the best I've had so far. There might be better ones out there, but these are very good. Served with Israel salad (similar to a Greek salad), hummus, tahini and pita bread. This is really a filling portion. The coffee drinks are nice and strong as they should be! The staff is friendly and helpful and did a great job of making us feel welcome at their restaurant. The place is clean and is decorated to make their guests feel warm. There really isn't much that I don't like about this place. The prices are also decent. We really liked Vitali's Bistro and give it full recommendation. Give them a shot!

Just what we wanted! Crepes with cheese and eggs and mixed berries in a crepe too. Very cheesy and nice! Quiet, comfy atmosphere. Conveniently located and easy to stop in after biking around the lakes this summer.

FINALLY there is another creperie in this town! Today I tried the Greek veggie crepe. It was so yummy that my mouth is watering just remembering it. The service was great as well. Very polite guys working there. Ambience is cool, and there are gluten free options as well.

This place is nothing short of amazing. There is literally something for everyone. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee and dessert. EVERYTHING. Not only is this place delicious, inexpensive and and conveniently located and accessible, but the service is outstanding. Every time I have been here, the people working behind the counter are incredibly sweet and approachable. I rate it an A.

This is great crepe place.. We had the salmon and veggie crepe and the portebello sandwich.. The chef has a great palate. The crepes had a fusion of flavors, a slight asian twist.. really enjoyed the meal.. The restaurant ambiance itself is really nice, they have board games you can play..highly recommend checking this place out..

Been here a couple of times with friends, and what a great cafe. Their crepes are very good, as other reviews have noted. My SO got a falafel burger last time we were there and said it was one of the best he'd had. Overall, Vitali's has a cozy, welcoming neighborhood bistro, and I would definitely recommend stopping in.

We just returned from Paris where we had crepes everyday so when we saw that Vitali's Bistro makes crepes, we had to stop in. I ordered the NewTella crepe and it was delicious. The crepe is thicker and chewier than the ones we had in Paris, but it was still really good and the NewTella, they make from scratch! It taste so much better than the stuff in the tub. I would definitely recommend this place.

This is a nice little place but it is not very "French". I was looking for an authentic creperie. That said, the food was okay. We had the cheese omelette in a crepe. It came with a nice side of a fresh tasting Israeli salad. But the eggs were overdone and the cheese was plain Jane mozzarella. Not even fresh mozzarella, I mean pizza cheese. No salt or pepper. I was unaware when ordering that I could have added the curried veggies, which are a house speciality and seem to be everywhere on the menu. The server didn't ask either. In fact, I was given a plain cheese omelette at first until I corrected the error. They gave me a fresh omelette with the crepe wrapped around it. The crepe was good but nothing to write home about. With five stars on yelp, I expected something more . My daughter got the salmon crepe, which was much more interesting, despite the very fishy taste of the salmon. We had a latte and a cappuccino, which were nice but not outstanding. We then had the "newtella" crepe and the Apple and feta crepe. My daughter loved the newtella one. I thought it was very sweet, but tasty. Again it was very plain. Maybe some fresh fruit in it or with it might cut the sweetness. My favorite thing I ate there the whole meal was the apple feta crepe. The apple was shredded and combined with feta, then wrapped in a crepe and topped with powdered sugar and a drizzle of honey. It was not too sweet and just delicious. Perfect. Next time I will make crepes at home though. It was simple and straightforward. Not worth the trip or the price I thought. My daughter asked to go have crepes for a school project. It was not authentic or typical, but at least she got an idea of what crepes are about for future adventures.

Awesome! Small menu, but really well done. Comfortable space. Best crepes outside my house or Paris.

WOW. Vitali's delivered today to my office via Foodsby, and I am blown away. I ordered the baked falafel sandwich with veggies, with the Korean carrot salad and Israeli salad on the side, followed by a cinnamon sugar crepe. The sandwich was just amazing, I can't rave enough about it. Perfectly yummy. The salads were refreshing on the side (the carrot salad is not spicy as the menu indicates, it ranks below a mild). I'm eating the crepe right now and was so excited by how good everything is that I started writing the review before I even finished eating. Nothing was greasy in any way, and the quality was top notch.

The food here is just great! It is always surprisingly fresh and flavorful no matter what I order. I have to keep coming back to try everything. I also love the cozy, relaxed atmosphere, with interesting books and comfy chairs. They even have board games and a kids play area. I wish I could spend half a day here. My wife can't eat gluten or eggs, and they are happy to accommodate with gluten-free, egg-free crepes. The menu is very health-food conscious with lots of fresh ingredients, but without any compromise on taste. I love it.
