This place seems to be experiencing some growing pains. I stopped by last Friday evening around 7. When I arrived, there were already a significant number of people ahead of me who had been awaiting their orders for some time. I chose a 12 piece mixed spicy/mild combo with 3 sides. I waited for over 30 minutes. Seriously. However, I'll add that the staff seemed genuinely concerned about the long delays in getting out not just mine but numerous other orders as well. When my number was finally announced, the person who handed me the bag sincerely apologized for any inconvenience and I could only smile and say "no worries" in return. Everyone was just that nice and besides, other customers had waited patiently along with me without making a fuss. When I got home, I was very pleasantly surprised to discover that apparently to make up for the excessive wait time they added two extra pieces of chicken to each side for a total of 16. A gesture both savvy and classy. Duly noted! I liked the spicy variety while my son preferred the mild. Both had a good, crunchy fried coating and were moist and flavorful inside. The red beans and rice were dense and smoky, the mashed potatoes satisfying with a dollop of gravy and the creamy cole slaw was quite tasty. The biscuits were very good as well. The two of us ended up making three meals out of this order. We'll be back for more.

Worst Popeyes I've ever been to Corporate Popeyes would be ashamed if they knew.... They charge $.35 for each additional dipping sauce. Fine whatever, but they don't do this it at any other Popeyes. I work right next door and am used to the frivolous charge. 2 weeks ago I ordered food from drive thru to take home to my wife. I am charged almost $2.00 for all of the extra sauces, as I requested 1 of every flavor. I get home and none of the sauces are in the bag. Upset on principle alone. I returned yesterday with all of my coworkers, again asked to pay for sauces. My response to the cashier "but I was at the drive thru 2 weeks and didn't get my sauces" The drive thru attendant butts into the conversation and no joke with a bad and defensive attitude says "I put them in there". My response "you remember giving me Sauces 2 weeks ago?" She responds again "yep, I put them in there". Here is the best part. I pay for my sauces, and wait for my food. I overhear my coworker say, "I always order the 3 piece, it doesn't matter if I order a 3, 4, or 5 piece tender, they always give me 5. Sure enough... I watch him and another co worker both get 5 piece meals, while ordering 3 piece. Consistently, everytime they go. Corporate should be ashamed.... Sad experience multiple times... And I never write reviews....

Why the lack of love for Popeye's in the other reviews? I walk in - I order promptly - they pack my lunch into the box, I eat (enjoying the delicious hard to find Popeye's unique flavor). The restaurant was clean, plenty of parking, Love the dirty rice, the biscuit, the cole slaw, and especially the chicken!

Went to lunch with my girlfriend and we too laughed all the way to the car. We arrived at about noon, which is prime time lunch hour (even though the place was empty). I ordered chicken tenders and she ordered a wrap (both spicy) with the fries. We got our food and it all tasted bland and old, like it was sitting under the heaters for several hours. Again, we figured since it was prime lunch time all of the food would be fresh! I was able to get 1 dipping cup of buffalo sauce with my chicken tenders, and when it was almost gone I went up and asked for another and they told me it cost $.99 for extra dips. Seriously? I for one will not be returning, and would not recommend this place to anybody :-/

Yes it is a "fast food" place, so waiting 5 mins to you might seem like a lot. I don't mind - I know I'm waiting because they're cooking my chow... It hasn't been sitting around for 3 hours. Today I had one of my faves - 2 chicken wrap combo with Cajun ("dirty") rice. Deeeelish! It comes with a biscuit, which was soft, flaky, buttery, and warm - exactly the way they should be. I do think the yelling in the kitchen was a little distracting, if you're a picky sort but I was alone so I found it entertaining. My cashier was super friendly, and they have Strawberry Fanta on tap for soda. I might be back tomorrow.

If you're looking for friendly-ish service, accurate order taking and/or filling, or quick service, you're gonna have a bad time. I mean the food is OK, you just have to be able to get what you actually ordered the first or second time. If you don't realize you have to ask for ketchup (the keep it behind the counter) you're gonna wait at least a few minutes before someone behind the counter will acknowledge your existence and then give you 2-3 ketchup packets. That will inevitably not be enough and you will have to repeat the cycle until either your food is cold or you flat out give up. Forget Seinfeld's soup Nazi, the people who run this popeys are condiment Nazis. Your wait for ketchup will be compounded by all the other patrons waiting for their ketchup ration as well. But if you like being treated as an orphan in a 19th century English novel who should take what they are given, no matter what they actually paid for, and be happy to do so, you'll probably love this place!

Horrible service, even worst staff, orders take to long cuz they are always out of something and always and I mean Always forget atleast one item or more from ur order, when u go to tell them about the mistake they are always confrontational. I do not recommended this place

This place never has food ready or runs out hours before they close. Last time I was there it took 20 minutes to get our food, they were out of take out boxes, guy working the counter had no idea what he was doing, and they were out of 3 of the 6 sodas. Will never be back.

Love this location! There was a long wait on mild chicken so they gave everyone ordering it something free in the dining room. Love the catfish & chicken tenders! All around good service

Worst service I've ever seen at a fast food joint. Food was ok but the service was terrible. Person at the drive thru used the window very fast and I didn't even have time to tell her she forgot my other drink which I paid for. No way to get her attention as she was too busy talking with other people in the store. Don't go here.

Ordered 2 PC chicken combo to take away. Chicken leg n thigh are tastes ok. Cajun fries on the side, I did not like them much but my wife liked it. Staff need to improve service. I don't suggest but you can give a shot. I thought of giving only one star but second star my wife liked the fries. :)

worst service ever today. They were out of tarter, flounder, cole slaw, mardi gras mustard. Told a guy after us 10-15 mins for chicken. The entire time we ordered and ate a man sat in the drive through waiting on his order that never came. He waited at least 15 mins for his order that they forgot to send out to him. Note that they were not in the least bit busy. 6 to 8 people inside the restaurant....absolutely ridiculous.
