Yay Jimmy Johns for having a location within walking distance of my office in cube land! It makes my day just a little bit better knowing that when I am in a pinch for lunch and I don't want to deal with the cray-cray Subway's near here that I can still get a decent sandwich! I will say this, it isn't as good as the Erberts and Gerberts, but it's still a viable option! They have never screwed up my sandwich, and for how infrequently I actually come here it's nice that the cashier remembers both me, and what I get every single time I come. (#12 add onions with two packets of mayo in the bag, specific right??) The people that work here are friendly, and it really is quick service if you don't show up during the lunch rush, I myself try to go before 11:30 or after 1. I just finished mowing down my usual and I'm not gonna lie, it gives me just a little bit of joy knowing that there are still cheaper options that aren't terrible for you! That and anytime I can put guac on a sandwich I feel like Nectar of the God's has been added to my life.

I love my coworkers, but my lunch is typically time that I like to be alone with my thoughts and not think about the office. In downtown Minneapolis, that isn't always so easy, as it seems that I run into people I know almost wherever I go. The food here is good, but its standard Jimmy John's, nothing special. The best feature about this place is that it has a hidden dining room, and seems to be just far enough off the regular paths. So, its the perfect place to go on days when I want to escape for a few minutes.

They make the sandwiches that they have on the menu and generally don't mess up. They are neither unskilled nor skilled at their craft. I once bought a sandwich from this particular Jimmy John's when I was drunk because I was so ridiculously hungry. Then I ate it at the fancy restaurant at the Westin. There is nothing more interesting I can say in this review. This review has 400 characters in it.

I love a slim 5! This Jimmy Johns location is great because it's near so many offices but that means at lunch time the line gets long. I've never understood why they say they are so fast either. It seems to me the employees are always working at putz speed. Oh well, the quality meats and bread will always get me to come back.

Delivery guy was a total Jack A$$. I always tip delivery guys and when he showed up I asked if there was a delivery charge since the total was higher than I expected. He very smuggly told me ...."well I don't work for free and I expect to be tipped". He was totally serious. I was appauled by his behavior and I wrote corporate just to be send a "canned" reply. No more Jimmy Johns for me. Erberts & Gerberts is a better product and value. Shame on Jimmy Johns.

I order Jimmy Johns almost once a week, if not every other. The delivery is always fast and the person who delivers is always very polite and pleasant. I once placed my order, and 4 minutes after I got my confirmation email, the delivery had come! I don't think I've ever had to wait more than 10 minutes, even during a lunch rush. The food is serviceable. For people complaining on here, you get what you pay for. It isn't cuisine, but for 8 bucks I'm satisfied. I never had an incorrect order before, and I've been ordering for about a year now. I haven't gone to the location so I can't speak for how customer service is inside the store, but my delivery people are always professional and my orders are never wrong.

There was nothing freaky fast about my experience here, nor freaky gourmet but they automatically get fandom based off of being open late on a weekday (at least somewhat late). They close before completely sloshed but just after good buzz.. The service was lackluster and the speed in which they serve up the sandwich (just a simple non customized standard offering) is closer to station wagon speed then F1. But it served it's purpose which was to soak up some alcohol so I could live to drink another day (by another day I mean 12:01 AM). They were quick to lock up the doors soon after I entered so I was one of the last customers. They locked the doors with customers inside which was interesting and perhaps a fire hazard, not that I would worry since I am invincible. Interesting note: I am not sure the bright blueish purplish eye shadow my cashier had caked on matched his facial features.. yup that is right HIS facial features. Not that it affects the quality of service or food but a shock to the system none the less.

I hate it here. I've been to this location three times and each time they made my sandwich wrong. If I wasn't picky, maybe this wouldn't be a problem. But I don't know, because my husband isn't picky and I've seen him get upset when somebody served him something other than what he ordered. So I think there's something to be said for getting an order right. The first two times I was still in the store when I discovered the error so I asked them to fix it (and they did) with only minimal grumbling. But the last time I got a sandwich here was before a 2 hour conference call at work. Since it's only a couple blocks away, a few of us walked down to pick up lunch and cart our sandwiches back to the meeting (it's a commonly known fact that 2 hour conference calls are more tolerable if you have an edible distraction). So I ordered the vegetarian sandwich (cheese, lettuce, tomato, sprouts, cucumbers, mayo and guacamole) and asked for it without mayo because I loathe mayo and without guacamole because guacamole makes me nervous (don't ask). When I got back to the office, I opened my sandwich and found they had left off the mayo and the guac but had randomly decided to ADD mustard. HORRORS! I dislike mustard even more than mayo or guac and would rather go hungry than eat mustard. So I didn't eat my sandwich. Basically the only good thing to come out of all this was at the end of the day while I was waiting for my bus, I encountered a homeless person begging for spare change. I usually don't have cash on hand and I won't give money to people I don't know but I offered her my sandwich and that made her happy. So at least somebody got something out of it. I could do without the freaky fast if they could get it freaky right.

Decent sandwiches. Similar to the torpedo sandwiches at other chains.

I JUST ordered from this Jimmy Johns and had delivery to my office downtown. It took them less than 15 minutes from the time of order to get it to me, the food is done just as I ordered and my sandwich is assembled very neatly (at my local Jimmy Johns, sometimes it looks like they just tossed the thing together). I would not hesitate to order delivery from this JJ's again!

Great for take-away, slow for delivery. Good story: Today I went in and the guy at the register seemed sort of slow. I didn't want to be mean, so I went with it. So I ordered, paid, and he counted out my change, then announced my order (#17 with cheese). Then the girl laid down a sandwich, repeated the order back. He then hands it to me, still completely deadpan, and says, "sorry about the wait". Come on, when was the last time someone made you smile? I had a grin all the way to work. That said, I work downtown, and when I order for delivery sometimes it takes 45 minutes, and I know better than to order at high traffic meal times. I'm only 2 blocks away. Meh, ah well. Delivery is better from the 9th st location, but I'm apparently outside of their turf. Still, JJ's is the best.

After a light dinner that was maybe too early, I was hungry later and looking for a quick and fast bite. Very few "fast food" places in downtown Minneapolis, so when I spotted JJ's, I was very pleased. The same menu as I see everywhere and the same lightning fast service and the same price. Winning!

The food was what you would expect from most Jimmy John's - fresh and tasty - but how hard is it to put bread, mayo meat and LT together?....however, no traditional greeting from these joyless employees, I had to repeat my order to an obviously grumpy cashier-probably from the music blasting in the restaurant. Maybe they were upset by the US loss to Belgium, but come on!!!

They have two lines during the lunch time rush, which is nice for somebody with a 30 minute lunch break. Accessible through the skyway from the government center, this is the place I go when I forget my lunch.

I love Jimmy Johns, but don't go to this one. Every time we order it takes over 45 minutes (seriously, subs so slow I freak). One time they even told us they were too busy to take our order. The food is always wrong (mayo when we say no mayo, or the wrong sub altogether). We've tried ordering from another, but we're in this one's territory, and it makes me consider moving. Don't go here!
