This is my go-to Jimmie John's due to its location near my office. Normally - pretty snappy but lately they have not been executing orders well. 1) I ask for a pickle cut up in quarters - the knife must go all the way through the pickle for that to happen 2) I've been having issues with mayo on that I ask to be left off, peppers not put on that I asked for, etc. The staff seems to not care as much as they did last year so hopefully they will get their act together.

If I'm here for lunch it's because I've given up on eating something good or healthy or new or fun in lieu of familiar and cheap. If I did that every day, or even a majority of days, I'd hate myself. As it is, I don't judge myself too hard for the few times I go here. Lines move fast and there's usually seating despite the volume of people coming through here at Noon.

This is a cool Jimmy Johns. I'm giving 4 stars because I like sitting at the Window facing 9th street and watching the Maniac Bike Delivery Guys. These dudes are crazy and pump those bikes around downtown like nobodies business. I'm guessing they do more deliveries than other locations because if you come at the right time of day the bikes are lined up like horses at an old western saloon. The food here is comparable to any other Jimmy Johns and the people are really nice. They do a lot of deliveries here so they get a sandwich out pretty dang quick. The restaurant is larger than most locations I have been to though. When you walk in, just go to the far end of the counter from the street entrance to order.

I read my address slowly FIFTEEN different times to the woman who answered the phone and took my order, and she STILL got it wrong. Another woman (the assistant manager) then took the call, and she got it wrong too! In my fifty-two years on the planet, I have never experienced such lack of telephone acumen. It is astoundingly baaaad!!!!!

So the other day I am starving and looking for a place to get some food... BAM! Jimmy johns in yo face! So I went in looked at the menu, the guy helping me was nice, he recommended the Italian sandwich. The guy that way making my sandwich had the personality of a stray cat. any who I got my sandwich and ate it... but all in all it wasn't great, but it hit the spot for like $7 I think? Check it out if you are looking to get a quick bite.

No gold star for JJ today. I always order online and always, always check the box that says, "sandwich cut in half" and they never do it. I either have to rip it with my bare hands dousing them in that annoying oil and vinegar after smell that lingers forever or use my cheap flimsy plastic knives that barely cut through the dense bread. JJ- when I check the "cut in half" box, please remember to do it. Today's sandwich also oddly tasted like coffee..

My office is in walking distance of at least three Jimmy Johns, but I will be forever faithful to this location. Why? The employees absolutely rule! Super friendly and fast, and they will typically make my sandwich and have it done before I even pay the cashier (yes, I do order the exact same thing every single time). It's fast-paced and the music is often really loud, so I don't typically eat in, but that also doesn't matter to me in the least as it's a fast food place. Have there been times that they have messed up my order? Sure, but they fix it super fast. I have also seen them fill about 20 orders in a 10 minute period for customers ordering at the level of "WUT IS SAMWICH?" so I don't blame them for the occasional oops out of frustration or whatever. 9th St JJ's, I heart you.

Love this Jimmy John's location! The staff is always friendly and attentive. I ate in a few weeks ago while running errands, and man, do they run like clockwork! The manager says clean the lobby, and a crew of five magically appears to sweep, mop, wipe off tables, and clean the drink station, no questions asked. They handle all of their in-house and delivery orders like professionals. The only downer is that this one closes at 7...people that live downtown need sammiches, too. :/

This Jimmy John's pissed me off today - I got the wrong freaking sandwich freaky fast. I hoofed it over there from my office and brought my lunch back to my desk only to unfurl my sandwich and see some offensive mess of turkey and bacon on what I was expecting to be a vegetarian sandwich. I realize that this can be a risk of grabbing lunch at a sandwich counter (see my Subway review) but seriously, the workers were so stupid to manage to mess this up. There was hardly anyone in line and absolutely none of the usual lunchtime mania. The cashier girl was so unpleasant that I hope she had to do something gross like scrub mayonnaise out of 5 gallon tubs before she could punch out. On a side note, I do enjoy watching the bike delivery guys come and go for deliveries- they seem like cooler people.

I had never heard of Jimmy John's before moving to Minnesota. My first day, literally, off of the plane, arrived at our apartment, and my husband asks me if I want to order JJ's. With a little explanation, he orders me a Vegetarian 8" It was quite tasty, and it's nice that you can have them easily, not put some things on your sandwich, as well as add other things you do want. I've been to a few here in MN, as well as one in Chicago, and I've always had a pleasant experience.

this Jimmy John's is awesome! it's your typical location with good food and friendly staff. Lunch time lines are really long but what do you expect downtown at lunch time. The part that bothers me? i have not once gone in their and not seen another customer overreacting because of a small mistake or just being rude to the workers. Congrats to the staff at this Jimmy John's for putting up with way to much BS and still making good food!
