Interesting joint. Had never heard of the place until a yelp search for takeout. Tried it today. Ordered kung bo chicken very spicy. They give you lots of chicken in large strips. It wasn't spicy but it was pretty good. Unlike most places, the sauce was minimal. Plenty of veggies, could've used more peanuts. Reasonable prices, friendly folks. Food was hot and ready quickly. Very much a mom-and-pop spot. Would try it again.

A solid little place for take out. Do yourself a favor and never plan on "eating in" at Huies... To Go only. That said, it's a decent option for the area. The "happy family" is a good choice for a bit of everything. If you like spice definitely ask for extra heat beyond the "spicy" option given.

They make the best shrimp and lobster sauce in the Twin Cities, bar none. Classic East Coast version with ground pork and absolutely no water chestnuts. That and their egg foo young are a very guilty pleasure. Classic Chinese American food. The potstickers are good too, not the wonton wrapper type. Don't let the hole in the wall appearance fool you. Bring cash, no credit cards accepted. Take out is the way to go.

WOW, when i walked into the store i thought the food would be bad with such low prices when in fact, it was simply amazing. if you do happen to go i suggest the namesake chow mien and of course sweet and sour chicken.

It took me awhile to try Huie's after moving close to their location because I always thought it looked like an absolute dump. Well, it is. I have now been there three times and not once has anyone been eating there. It has been busy when I have been there, but everyone has ordered take out. Food- bit too much "filler" veggies, but the taste is good and the prices are very reasonable. I would have given them a 3.5 if it was an option, but it is so convenient that I rounded up!

This place has some of the best Chinese food in all of the Midwest. Want proof? Well just look at how long it has been in business. I don't even know but has to be for at LEAST 45 years. How many restaurants can you say that about? Probably none! Is Huie still alive? If so he is an American hero. God bless him! May he and his family have good fortune and loyal customers for many years to come.
