Three stars for the sports atmosphere. Two stars for the food. Service is alright when I was there during a Twins game. I didn't like the chicken wings.

Considering it's a bar, the food is actually pretty descent. Sadly, the revamp of the menu also removed my favorite dressing that I would always order with pretty much everything. The place generally falls under one of the two extremes: insanely packed if there is a game/concert or completely empty - on any other day.

Call me old but the db level was 90-100. Couldn't talk to the people I came with. Fries are soggy. Don't order the mahi taco app you will not get full. Asked for water but never got it. Burgers OK. Lucky it's convenient. Wonder of we will ever get our check before the concert

Food and service have always been great. Get the sweet potato fries with any of their burgers. Best time to go is actually not around game time. Week nights during the week are pretty great, it's a big bar.

We stopped down at Hubert's on a Friday night to catch the Bucks game. There weren't any sporting events going on downtown so the place was relatively chill, no pack of rowdy fans or anything. This was how I hoped the place would be, relaxing and comfortable. We pulled up to the bar and asked if we could have the channel changed on the end TV to the Bucks game. At first I wasn't sure if we'd have our wish granted but within probably ten minutes the bartender/server had changed the channel and we were set. I will definitely give them high marks for accommodating our chosen game to watch. The service was good, attentive and quick for the most part, especially with the drinks. The prices are a bit much at this Hubert's, though. A Miller Lite for $5.50? That's bordering on insanity. The food was overpriced as well for adequate bar food, but here you're really paying for location and proximity to venues. The fish and chips I had was OK, the fish was pretty decent for bar food but the fries were dry with no flavor. There was no automatic vinegar served with it either. My girlfriend had a Cobb salad, which she said was OK; it was pretty big. All in all, Hubert's is a nice place to have around. It's certainly more welcoming than NBA City was, especially considering the local sports vibes in the decor. This is really nothing much like the original Hubert's; it's a slick modern sports bar with many TVs and designer lounge, etc. There are some video games and whatnot and I can see it being a decent place to catch a beer if you're going to the game or a show nearby. It's certainly large enough to pack a bunch of people in. Everything's a bit pricey, though, so you probably wouldn't want to spend too much time here. Also, there's no jukebox but this place could really use one. We were watching exciting sports on TV and there would be this horrible droning ballad on in the background (loudly) distracting from the atmosphere.

Terrible experience here after the Twins game today. We stopped in for a beer to cool off and were treated like criminals by three different waitresses. One actually told us we may have to leave our table if the hostess needed it for someone else! We were paying customers drinking beer, but I guess they would prefer to seat customers who want to eat. We finished the one beer we had to get ourselves from the bar, and since nobody came by and offered to bring us more, we left.

Decent before-game place to hang out if you're heading to Target Field to watch the Twins. It's usually packed and it can be tough to get a spot at the bar, but they sell 16 oz. cans/bottles from tubs for $4. If you want food or a table you might need to wait awhile. The location and atmosphere is nice for sports venues, but I probably wouldn't go here if I wasn't going to a Twins or Twolves game.

My thoughts on Hubert's from this summer: Pros: - Deep Fried Juicy Lucy with Jalapenos was excellent! - Craft Brews on Tap - They did change one of the 50 TVs to the baseball game during the NBA playoffs Cons: - Tots on the menu, but they ran out of tots! (Although the Onion Rings were still good.) - Wanted to order another beer, but the waiter was not around to do so. - Ambiance reminded me of a Buffalo Wild Wings Based on other experiences in the area and the deliciousness of the Deep Fried JL, I'll give them the four stars (Really it would be a 3.5)

I decided to stop in for a bite before the Josh Groban Concert. I ordered boneless chicken wings. They were over fried and nuggets not boneless wings. I realized that all their appetizers are pre-made, probably bought from Sysco. I would suggest not ordering appetizers. My daughter ordered buffalo salad with Blue Cheese dressing. I would suggest you ask the wait staff what they make from scratch. GREAT Service, just terrible food!

We came here for a work luncheon and I was pleasantly surprised. The group was large and handled well. The food was good but not superb. A couple of people ordered salads and they were kind of disappointed. It's between a 3 and a 4.

Not too shabby for bar food - I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and JP had the buffalo chicken wrap. We both agreed they were pretty tasty and weren't really expecting more than something to fill our bellies before the T-wolves game last week. Considering what you'd pay for a beer and hot dog at the game, $10 for a decent sized plate of food that you can enjoy at a table is a nice alternative. The real kicker here is convenience - if you're attending an event in the Target Center you can walk right in from the bar and up to your seats. Also plenty of screens showing every possible ESPN channel to keep you updated on the latest stats while you nibble.

Stopped in before the Twinkies game on a rainy/cold Tuesday at 5:30 pm and it was PACKED.....could not believe all the fans out before the game -- good for you for supporting the new stadium and the first place team! It is located in the target center about 100 yards from the park....and its HUGE...can fit a lot of people....we just bought beers from the cute girl working the big tub of beer (no Miller Lt - only Bud Lt).......she was great! It was fun, but we headed over to Kierans and had an even better time! Total - for once I didn't have to pay!!!

My buddy and I had a concert to go to in Dinkytown, but we wanted Traffic to die down before we headed out. My friend suggested Hubert's It is located in the old NBA City, which was a wasteland. I almost saw tumbleweeds drift by ever time I walked in. Very inhospitable and almost like they didn't want you in there. The place I entered today was vibrant. There was a beer bottle girl by an ice tub of beer. Plus one! Happy hour with any beer for $4. Plus 2! Great food for a reasonable price! Plus 3! The only drawback was the service. It was slow and without a smile. She walked deliberately by me so I couldn't order a beer during happy hour at about 5:57. Very uncool. I ordered a buffalo chicken salad. The lettuce was a solid iceberg, didn't seem too "Bag like" The sauce was spicy over the juicy chicken breast. (You can order it fried if you desire) They give you a side of both a creamy, not chunky blue cheese and a side cup of blue cheese chunks. A nice touch. It is probably what most restaurants do anyways, but it was nice to have the option. Overall, it was large and spicy and yummy. My friend got the BBQ chicken ranch wrap and also said it was delicious. It was also huge, for about 10 bucks. I ordered a Fulton IPA and a Bell's Two Hearted. Both splendid beers, for $4 each. I would have gone 5 stars, but the service was just so-so and they sat us in the corner by no TVs. Pretty lame. We finished the night off with Adam Carolla Live, so all in all it was good times!

This Hubert's is far superior to the old Hubert's near the dome. They have great happy hour specials nearly all day long. It is half off everything behind the bar. I was up there last Saturday night drinking $2 Summits all night. I'm not sure how long it will last, I think they are just trying to get people in the door. The nachos were great too, second only to Maxwells. It's a nice sports bar with a lot of big screen televisions. I would come here to watch Vikings games as well. They have a lot of Twins memorabilia on the walls and they sell Twins hats and shirts. It has to be the closest bar to the new Twins ballpark.

Nice atmosphere and great nachos. The cheeseburger was ok. The nachos were a meal in themselves.

Solid place to grab drinks and appetizers before a game. Huge screens (and many of them for that matter). Extensive selection of brews on tap and a fully stocked bar. Service is quick and friendly. Huge seating area can accomodate large parties. Definiely stop by if you are looking for a fun pregame atmosphere.

I wasn't sure what to expect on my return to Hubert's after the last time... but I'm glad I left all preconceived notions at the door with me.. I was trying my damndest not to be cynical about the service and I'm actually happy that I chose to hold it down as the beginning of my service was once again rocky. Kyle and I sat down at our table (and not going to lie, after the last experience I hit go on my phones stopwatch) and watched people that had walked in after us get service first, more than likely because they sat at the bar instead of at a table... But when the waitress finally did notice us she was actually quite apologetic and asked us if we had been waiting long. It was that long awaited *sigh* moment I had needed as the last server I had here was NOT apologetic. We got a beer and put in our orders for food right away. Most of the people were just sitting around watching Sports Center (gross) and there was even that token drunk chick at the end of the bar. I would say that as far as the environment goes, for a Saturday afternoon it was a little weird to see how excited people were by watching Sports Center, and I tried my best to ignore everyone. Onto the food... Wow!!! When you actually get it (not dogging on Huberts but the last bartender I had had) it's DELICIOUS!!! Seriously, that is the kind of food, at the right price, that I look for when I go out! I'll hand it to Huberts, I was intrigued by the thought of going back, but I am very glad I did! Just don't go there during a game unless you want to watch it haha, it seems rowdy in there!

We loved this place. We were here for a conference and went looking for a sports bar to watch the game + eat wings. This place knows how to do it. I called ahead and the manager said he would make sure the Mississippi State vs. South Carolina game was on and he did! The wings were great and service was excellent. Our waiter, Mitch, was great. Couldn't ask for better service! A++++++

I went to Hubert's for the WBNA Finals viewing party for our own MN Lynx last week. We arrived about 45 minutes before the game was scheduled to start, and despite being the "official" watching location for the game and the bar being packed with Lynx fans, they refused to turn the game on until the scheduled start time (to be fair, there was hardly even a pre-game, which is a complaint for ESPN2, not Hubert's). You would think that with over 40 HD TV's, they could have turned at least a few of them to the game channel and avoided so many requests/complaints. Then it took over 40 minutes for anyone to even come by and take our drinks order, and then another 15 minutes or for them to arrive (the waitress, who was neither apologetic nor very friendly, brought us 1 water for over 10 people). I can't comment on the food because although I ordered a sandwich, it never arrived. When we told the waitress this she denied it and told us we had received our food (no, I think I would have remembered that). Then, when the bill came at last, there were 3 extra drinks charged on it. I understand that the wait staff were overwhelmed, but again if Hubert's was going to be the "official" viewing location for the game, they should have been prepared and had enough staff on the floor to handle the crowd. Very disappointing experience, I much prefer the original Hubert's. But at least the Lynx won!!!

I feel really conflicted about Huberts. I've only been here once and it was during a crawl event, so perhaps they were on top of their game . . . but overall, I think it's not a bad place. As far as location and appearance are concerned, they are definitely 4 stars. Location is great an when you walk in, it's open and spaceous. The seating is comfortable and the hardwood floors are nice. It seems like a semi-classy sports bar. The waitresses/waiters are friendly, helpful and fairly fast. I was with a moderate sized group and we got there ahead of the rest of the crawl goers, we were seated and had our order taken rapidly. The food was hot when it came out and it wasn't bad tasting. I order a taco and some chips and salsa. The taco tasted homemade, which isn't what I was looking for at the time, but it was good. The chips and salsa were typical, but good. The bill was low, so I'm good with it. I don't know if I'd ever seek out going to Huberts, but I won't avoid it if people suggest it or if it's on the crawl list.

Some friends and I were going to a show at First Ave. and made plans to meet at Kieran's to begin our evening. Upon our arrival, we were very disappointed, but not surprised, to learn there was a 45-minute wait for a table. Ain't nobody got time for that! So, we decided to head across the street to Hubert's. I had never been to Hubert's before, but I had patronized its predecessor, an NBA City, and it was dreadful. So, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Low and behold there was a wait here too, but it was only 15 minutes so we grabbed a beer at the bar. I was pleasantly surprised to learn they had a few other beers on tap besides the traditional macro-brews. We all ordered Fulton IPA's. The bartender was friendly and quick. Our table was ready faster than promised and we were promptly attended to by our server. The menu has typical sports bar fare on it. Burgers, wraps, pastas and various sandos. My friends all had burgers. I had the reuben. Everything was good, not great, and we were satisfied. Our server was johnny on the spot with everything. She was great. Overall, I was very pleased with my first experience at Hubert's. They are definitely on my downtown bar list now. I will most certainly be back!

The food was good enough and the beer selection was decent. The bartender was very helpful in getting our desired game on the television closest to us. Worth stopping if you are looking for a quick bite while watching a game.

Went to the Laker's game on Tuesday and was meeting a friend. We decided on Hubert's because it was the easiest place to meet. I have to say I was very impressed with the service and food, but I'm was extremely happy to find out that they carry Bell's two Hearted beer. If you have not had that beer then you should ask for it the next time your at Huberts. The burger and fires I had were good but not the greatest in the world.

I'm giving this place 5 stars for the management and staff at this place. The food is good but not extraordinary. After all, it's a sports bar. But the experience is just as important as the food and the folks there really accommodated me on my first visit. I was in town on business and the manager went out of his way to set me up to watch my hometown baseball team. Doesn't sound like a big deal but the way they have it set up, he apparently couldn't change just one TV, he had to change a whole set of them. So while I watched my game at the bar, probably half a dozen other TVs were showing my game with nobody watching them, including one of the big screens. On a busy night, I really appreciated it. In addition, the ladies behind the bar were friendly and professional. Enjoyed my time at Huberts and will be back again the next time I'm in town.

I usually come to Hubert's to watch football on Sundays or before Twins/Twolves games. It's usually pretty crowded with Minnesota fans and has a great atmosphere. The drinks are run-of-the-mill sports bar drinks and are averagely priced. The food won't knock your socks off but it is tasty. Hubert's, a SPORTS bar and grill located IN the Target Center and NEXT to Target Field, knows its niche and fills it well. If you try to look at it in a different light, it'll probably disappoint. Luckily for all involved, there really is no need to look at it other than a good sports bar right by the games.

A prefect place to start your game night. Huberts at the Target Center actually enhances your game experience! Good food, incredibly convenient, comfortable, reasonably priced and great sports bar vibe. This place has a way of making you feel like you are a member of the VIP court-side club. We were seated at a table with overstuffed armchairs (very comfy), the service was great, (fast and friendly), the food we had was very good (flavorful - tasty), and then you enter the arena through the same tunnel as the players, without ticket box lines.

i have been there once and it was ok.... and i have been there another time and it was litterally horrible. The bartender was nice enough when we first got there... took our drink order... but after that he basically ignored us... we were there for a concert and though it would be convient... that was about the only thing it was... after we flagged someone down to take our order we had to wait over an hour to get our three appetizers... we almost left because we were scared we would be late to the show. the ribs were cold. and the people next to us ordered the same things as us maybe ten minutes after us...and got it ten minutes before us... it was werid and we left VERY unhappy. ... but the drinks we had were good on the plus side...thats the only reason i would give it over a one rating....at least they know how to make drinks.

  • Nicole S.

LOVE this bar. drinks and beer selection are good, service is good, but for sports bar food, its top notch! everything tastes really fresh and homemade... which is not usual for bar food. The appetizers are all really good. But really this review is all about the pizzas, the sauce and crust are freaking awesome! Make sure you try one next time you eat here!

Great place! We watched the Virginia Tech game here. For some reason we were the only ones here but the bartender was very nice to us and changed the channel and even put the game on over the speakers. We ordered wings, beer, and salads they were all delicious. We will def. be back again!

This place has a great atmosphere for the next time you try to scalp Twins tickets but decide that 75 bucks for a standing room ticket is outrageous. Plenty of TV's to watch the game - and plenty of people cheering on the team from inside the bar. Classic Sports Bar. The food is okay - I had a Jucy Lucy on Texas toast and it was way, way too heavy. Tasted fine, but I felt like I needed a cariology consult afterward. Fine selection of beers. Just don't go here looking for a great meal. Also, the service took quite a while during the game because it was so busy, so we ended up waiting like an hour for our food.

  • Timothy F.

I ordered take out from this spot the other day, and while it's food ideas are certainly well-intentioned, the execution is lacking. The waffle burger sounds great in theory, but the waffles are just simple Eggo frozen waffles, the 'thinly sliced proscciutto' was thicker than a slice of bacon, and the burger ordered medium rare was served well done. The Buffalo wings were good and had nice heat; I wouldn't mind getting those again. The lamb meatballs were actually nicely composed, but these were also badly overcooked. I've had worse food from a sports bar, but I definitely expected better given the prices.

Unless I am heading to an event at Target Center or Target Field I always seem to forget about Huberts - not sure why cause I really like it there. Maybe because its a sports bar and I don't make the trek downtown just to go to a sports bar. Location is great for pre/post game food and drinks. Its always busy, but I have never had to wait too terribly long for a table, maybe 20 minutes max. Service can be slow, but I do not fault them for it since there are people everywhere. They do a great job for how busy it is before/after shows/games. Regardless of how busy it is, the servers are always pleasant even when you can see the stress on their face. The drinks are strong and the food is tasty, what more can you ask for...? Most recently I have consumed the walleye fingers (appetizer) and they were perfectly cooked, flaky and delicious. Served with a slaw it can be a meal in itself, you won't want to share any way. One nice perk of going to Hubert's - there is an arena entrance, so you can enter the venue if you have floor seats. No waiting in line! Thanks Huberts for being great. Keep up the good work.

Hubert's is a great place to hang out before or after a game. It is conveniently located in the Target Center and has its own entrance into the arena for Wolves games. It's proximity to Target Field is a plus as well. I have been here numerous times, mainly because they make high quality food at a reasonable price. I have never had a bad meal here and the service is second to none. The restaurant has been full most times I go there, yet the food is out within 15 minutes and the wait staff and bartenders are extremely attentive to their customers. We went for a snack before a Wolves game yesterday and tried their cheesecake and a side of tater tots. Both were great! If you are looking for a good meal, and do not want to pay the stadium prices, you can't miss with Hubert's!!

  • Richard L.

This seems to me to be one of the best spot to stop before heading into a twins game. It's only a few blocks from Target Field and the drinks and food here are what you need to get going before you start heading to the game. The drinks are strong and fast and the food (well we didn't have any food) but it looked and smelled delicious from where we were sitting. We had a beer, a shot then took off when our friend met up with us before the Twins game. If i'm in town for another twins game I'll swing by before hand for a drink or two.

I feel bad giving this place a 3 star rating because I don't think I'd ever hesitate to go to it.... but at the same time it is just a sports bar at the end of it all. First - they have a pretty decent microbrew list which always makes me happy. Second - they have a deep fried, bacon rolled, jucy lucy and it is amazing. Absolutely amazing. Everything a good Lucy should be - cut it down the middle and molten hot cheese come POURING out. When you bite into it there is a satisfying CRUNCH of the beer battered deep fried burger. I think it took a year off my life, but I'm cool with that. Third - The staff was really nice .. like way nicer than working at a sports bar requires. Super on top of our drinks, friendly... is this how people are in MN? Should I move here? Maybe... Lastly - it has what every good sports bar should have. TONS of TVS and even a GIANT projection screen playing every game you could want. It was perfect for Monday night football....but I can only imagine how amazing it would be on Sundays. Ok, I talked myself into it - it does deserve four stars. :)

Every time I go here the service gets worse and worse. I can't see them being in business much longer! I would rather eat at McDonald's!

  • Dayday S.

The service was awful, and so was the food. Couldn't get anyone to wait on us while many on the staff were standing around chatting. The food took forever, even though we told them we wanted to make the show. Half of the food was cold, have of the food was burnt. The chicken fingers were raw in the middle. Even for a quick bite on the way to a show or a game, this place is garbage.

Packed on a game/concert venue night, forewarned is forearmed! However, there is none of the pretentiousness associated with some of the eateries downtown. Definitely has the comfort of the bar down the street, due in large part to the friendly staff. I definitely recommend them for their happy hour specials on alcohol, though unfortunately, it does not extend to their food menu.

I really wasn't expecting much from Huberts in the way of food or drink. We only ended up here to watch the UFC fights. And, sitting at the bar, I was worried initially that my stool would collapse into a pile since these things have obviously seen some rough nights as of late (and could probably do with some bolt tightening and wood glue). On the drink side of things, I'd say it's like a regular sports bar. We were there long enough that I started to get bored with bottled or tap beer and veered off, asking the bartenders to make me things like Negronis and Rumchata shots... which they willingly obliged and did a pretty darn good job at. But the food is where I was really plesantly suprised! My buffalo chicken pizza was actually some of the best bar food I've had recently, and even with that, I was jealous of Bill's fried cheese-stuffed burger. All in all, we spend something like 5 hours here (and yes, over $100 for two people), but I'd say it was a good value and my chair never did break - so that's a successful evening in my book. We'd return to watch UFC stuff again, if in the area.

Service overall was good. The table we were sat at was very wobbly to a point where you would spill something if you nudged it. Got cheese curds for the appetizer which were fairly good. Ordered the Cuban sandwich and thought it was below average. The pork was super dry. And bland. Ham was decent. Would not order it again. Overall it was ok, but there are many other options in the area by target center that I'd like to try before coming back here.

Went to this place before the Twins game and it's great for its convenience to the stadium (literally a few hundred feet from the right field entrance gate) but besides that it's just OK. It was packed but not extremely packed but as the time got closer to the game, it got more crowded. Luckily we had already been sat before the big rush (we were a group of 6). Food was definitely not worth the prices and I was very disappointed with the buffalo chicken wrap that I ordered. It was very tasteless and I wish I had ordered something else. Our waitress was very nice but the service was on the slow side and our food took a long time to come out. I work in the restaurant industry so I know what it's like but it wasn't acceptable. Like I said, the place was just OK and I would have to agree with a lot of other people's reviews on the place (hence why it's a 3/5).

Say at the bar and ordered a black and blue burger medium. Waited at least 20 minutes before I asked the understaffed bartender about the food. He went to go check in it and came back with it. Who knows how long it had been sitting back in the kitchen. The burger was really pink inside, more medium rare than anything. It didn't have much taste to it either. Didn't leave happy. Won't go back.

Get here early. It gets packed prior to Games. Turkey Avocado sandwich was satisfying. The Black Jack burgers were on the dry side & tasted like cardboard & propane. Maybe it's a new cook. But all 3 burgers were the same :( still a good spot to visit.

Hubert's is a great Sports Bar to stop at before a Twins or Timberwolves game. They are typically busy before games so get there early if you want a spot at the bar! With a busy bar/restaurant comes a lot of chaos and less attention on customers, unfortunately. They are also a bit pricey but it makes sense being that it is Downtown Mpls. The positive: The food is pretty good! I had a pasta dish and loved it! Yes, I'll go back becasue it's convenient but at least I know what to expect!

Service is great, food is awesome( try the meatloaf Wellington)way worth it. Peter the gm is awesome super good guy... Manager Michelle and supervisor Sean are absolutely the worst conductors of business I've ever handled. I got Hung up on twice by each. Steer clear from those two and you should be ok :) friendly staff otherwise.

We were here for the AAA reception for those who won tickets to the Twins game. I'd never gone into this place, and see no reason to visit again. I'm not into bar food and theirs was tolerable. I did enjoy the fresh fruit along with the meat and cheese tray. It wasn't something that one couldn't get from Byerly's or Lunds, though I was grateful they were there. They also had some weird sort of eggroll-type things. I cannot describe to you exactly what was in them except spinach. My husband and I ate only one of them. They didn't taste very good, despite our shared love of spinach. The wings were ok. Again, if I'm going to eat hot wings, their going to be my own. People here don't actually make hot wings. They make tabasco wings, which aren't remotely hot. Our waitress was very busy with the group and yet seemed to take it in stride. She did disappear once or twice while we were there, but that wasn't really a problem. I suppose, if we win something that involves coming back here, we will. Otherwise, it will continue to be one of those places downtown that I walk past.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL SERVICE!!! Rude from the second we sat down. Don't care how busy you are. If it's too much for you, then this is not the job for you. We told the manager and she was even more rude!!! She rolled her eyes and kept saying "uh huh uh huh". Never going to be back and telling everyone to avoid this place like the plague! And the food isn't even that good.

I measure my sports bars on two levels. 1. Would I watch a game here that I care about. 2. Is it a fun place to watch a bunch of games that I don't care about but want to see some sports. It falls short on both. I was with a group wanting to watch a recent game and they can only do sound throughout the bar for one game at a time, so they do not turn on the sound until the last minute. Also, the area we were placed to watch didn't actually have sound so they had to crank up the sound in the rest of the bar so we could hear the echoey broadcast. If I feel like I'd rather have stayed home to watch and get into a game, then it's a fail. I also wouldn't go to watch games I don't care about because they play music, not the broadcast sound (I suppose if everyone wants to see the same game, like Vikings for example, they would turn on the sound)

Douchebags and Bangles and skanks, oh my! Those are the first three thoughts that came to my head as I sat in Hubert's for a few hours on Saturday afternoon watching college football. I thought of douchebags because so many bros in their brown flip-flops came up to the bar and ordered Shock Top. And they weren't doing it ironically. Typical conversation: "Hey bro, you want a Shock Top or a Coors Light?" "Bro, get me a Shock Top". Awesome choice guys. But then either choice is super lame, sorry bro! Now to the skanks...actually there was just one really loudmouth girl who kept on shouting "Who hates Iowa? We hate Iowa!". I challenge her to quantify one bad thing that Iowa has done to her. It's a perfectly nice state, especially if you like corn. PS, the 1980's called and they want their shorts with cowboy boots back. And finally the Bangles.....the one girl bartender reminded me of the Susanna Hoffs, lead singer of the Bangles. In their videos*, she looked everywhere EXCEPT at the camera, which is what this bartender did when people wanted beer. She could walk by the same person 5-6 times and look everywhere BUT at the person standing patiently at the bar waiting for a beer. Plus when I asked her what she had on tap, she just pointed at the taps, some of which didn't have the name of the beer on it so I had no idea what it was. I know it sounds like I didn't like this place, but it wasn't that bad. Once you get past the douchebags and Bangles and skanks, it's okay. The Bangle bartender left and the other bartenders were cool. The skank was carried out by her friends because she was super trashed and the d-bags, well they were still there but in general, they're harmless. Give Hubert's a shot. ---------------------------------------------- * look at her in this video from 2:20 to 2:55, especially starting at 2:45 and you'll see she's physically incapable of looking at the camera youtu.be/cjI4p8_NZVc

Target Center Location After A buddy of mine told me it was the best juicy out there, you know I had to try it. A deep fried version of the traditional juicy, I wasn't certain I would include it, but figured, why not? Unfortunately, this was not that great and it was the first AND last time I'll be eating it. This is how I would describe Hubert's attempt; Start with a standard juicy with American cheese (OK flavoring), add the crappiest fish fry beer batter you can find on a Friday night (yes there are people screwing that up even) and finish it off by dipping it in a vat of grease like it was at the last day of the State Fair that hadn't been changed. HEART ATTACK! Not all bad though... One of the best Philly's around town and my go to meal before a Twins game if my wife and I stop before the game! :)

Don't understand why tables are open and it was a 50 minute wait. After waiting, we wanted to sit at a spot near a certain game that wasn't showing anywhere else. Well of course we couldn't do that. The host said they had a certain seating system...which is whatever. So we decided to not eat and just watch the game on TV, since the twolves game was going to start in 30mins. After deciding we wanted to stand and watch the game, 10 mins later people were seated to the table we wanted to sit at. Wth? I've ate here before and last time it took a long time for our food when it wasn't busy. Food is great, but how hard is it to make greasy food, anyway.

Stumbled upon Hubert's on the way to Target Field for the first time. Ended up stopping here before and after both games we attended. Friendly bartenders, decent drink menu. +1 to the female bartender who helped my wife with a shirt she wanted, -1 for the guy bartender who 2x sent a drink to us /w coke rather than the diet coke mixer ordered. I cant comment on food as we never ate here, but for simple drinks/ beers before a pregame- exactly what I was looking for. One note- Was surprised how last call was announced 2 hrs prior w/ 10+ people in the bar on a Thurs night. At any rate, I'd certainly go back if attending another Twins game @ Target.

Waitstaff was great (Stephen)! Food was mediocre at best. After the Twins hit a grand slam, the manager switched the tvs and sound to the NBA. The top of the next inning the Brewers came back 3-4. A true sports bar would leave the local team on to show its support. I see why the bar only had about 20 customers during the game counting the 7 of us. So much potential with location and atmosphere.

Fantastic location. Food is terrible, service is slow. And their busboys literally run thru the restaurant. I will never go back. And I won't recommend it to anyone. There are plenty of options nearby. Pick another place.
