Great service!! Always fast, friendly, amazing speed, and the hoagies and pizza are so delicious!!! My favorite is the southwest chicken hoagie which is so incredibly yummy! The blending of the chipotle sauce with the various vegetables compliments the great grilled chicken covered in melted cheese aplenty in between the delicious toasted bread with perfect texture. The meatball sandwich is my other favorite when I'm really feeling/craving meat or Italian. They have gluten-free also... today I went there with a gluten-free friend, and she had the gluten-free pizza which she said was delicious. We went there for a special party "game night" where we played games in their closed off party room and we had such a good time. The food was delivered to us while we were playing games... outstanding and wonderful service....Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!

If my wife was reviewing this place she would give it 5 stars. She grew up on this stuff and swears it's some of the best food she's had. We went to Davanni's 3 or 4 times in one week. The pizzas are great. The crusts are perfect. The pizza hoagies are delicious. The roast beef hoagie wasn't the greatest... I'll have to stick to the pizza next time. Overall, it's a really good place to get your grub on.

Close to work, so it is the Davanni's of choice for the office. Location is a freaking mess. The small parking lot in back is shared by other tenants in the mall thing, so it's full, and a bitch to get in and out of from Winnetka. I've had a lot of things from this place. Nothing has ever really impressed me, especially when I've gotten sandwiches and pizza from a city like Chicago. But, it is a lunch place for work. Not that I care, I rarely have to pay when we do come here - so whatever there. Online order so it's ready when we get there. No wait. Hurray! It does get crazy freaking busy at lunch time. And with one coke machine where stupid people stare at it and have no idea how to assemble a drink, the line and frustration builds like you can't imagine. My review is on the hoagies which I normally get. Chicken is normally a safe bet to go. Sometimes I swear they forget to add the lettuce and veggies AFTER they send it through the toaster grill thing, because they're slimy like Taco Bell "veggies." Bread is at least toasted properly. I do HATE the fact there is no garbage cans set out. I get you want a person to come by and clean up, but then actually have someone come around and clean up. Tables are normally pretty dirty here during the lunch rush, and you get to have that odd feeling of leaving a dirty tray when you feel like it's a cafeteria and there should be somewhere to bring it. Oh well though, "Minnesota institution" that others in the office routinely like to pick.

Big disapointment, ordered a meatball sub and cheese bread. Everything was cold, bread was soggy and a little stale. Price was ok, but not for the quality you received.

The food was OK but what's dropping my rating was the guy who thought he was a really funny comedian. I'm not coming here for laughs. I'm here to eat and I don't want some guy cracking terrible jokes over the sound system while I'm eating lunch.

Believe it or not, this Davanni's would NOT deliver to my daughter's apartment complex, saying that the crime rate is too high...Golden Valley? Give me a break, they would, however deliver across the street to the single family homes. Blatant DISCRIMINATION. We plan to contact an attorney. I guess they think we are living in Mississippi in the 20's.

I have never understood the high ratings on the Davanni's chain restaurants. The pizza is really ordinary even in the pizza desert that Minneapolis is. Stale tasting crust, lack of sauce. The calzones are better. The one thing the pizza has going for it is that it is cheap - but you only live once right?
