More of a 3.5. I'm more of a regular than a fan. I think they are a bit pricey for some of their items, but they have a pretty decent lunch selection. Burgers (frozen patties) , wraps, fried food, sandwiches, salads etc. Their reubens, shrimp basket, fried zucchini and gyros are pretty good. The staff is always friendly as is the grill guy. Alright, I've convinced myself. I guess I am a fan.

Collin's Cafe, Though hard to fine, it's a decent cafe for A-ok food. They have a Deli and a grill. You can order anything from Hamburgers - Wraps - Grilled Cheese. For the price of the foods, it is definitely, you get what you pay for. The sandwiches are good, but not extravagant with hefty portions with the grill items with fries and sides with the burgers and chicken sandwiches. The HOT WINGS are to die for with their thin crust which makes them perfect. The WILD RICE SOUP when its available, its one of the best (thick and hardy) with a great seasoning. They have Drinks in the coolers and desserts at the deli, just make sure before you get in line, grab your drinks to pay for them or you will have to wait in line once again. The place is located next to the tunnel that connects the hospital and on the LL level of the address in the building if you are not able to find the tunnel. Food is cooked fast so stopping here and getting lunch works well!

Collin's is definitely a hole in the wall and doesn't offer much to look at (after all, you're in the basement of a medical facility). I have been there a couple of times for lunch out of convenience (I work across the street), and the gyro is pretty good, as are the fries. Steer clear of the chicken sandwiches... nothing more than a dried up piece of overcooked chicken on a bun with a leaf of lettuce and the sauce of your choice. Not worth it. You might be wondering, based on what I've just written, why I gave it 3 stars... one word... BREAKFAST. You may not believe it, but what Collin's lacks in lunch fair, it makes up for with breakfast. They have an assortment of fresh-baked muffins every morning (I've had the blueberry a couple of times, and the cranberry walnut once - both still warm and delicious), and they offer 3 or 4 different kinds of freshly brewed coffee. Great way to start your day. They also have mouth-watering breakfast sandwiches if you're wanting something a bit more substantial. All-in-all, it's no culinary wonder - but it does a few things well, and might be worth it if you're in the area and need something convenient.

This place is amazing! The grilled cheese is out of this world and don't even get me started on their chipotle chicken soup. Collin's Cafe is likely the best restaurant in Minneapolis.

Place was pretty dark and looked modpodged together (not a bad look if it's not in a basement). Staff was really friendly. Food could've been a little better. Prices were decent.
