Had about 2 minutes to get a bakers dozen and a couple of tubs of cream cheese before work. I didn't express my rush, but I'm picky and needed to be quick. The man behind the counter, Dwight, was so nice and helped me with my order quickly and with a very nice attitude. Even helped me pick some bagels. I was in and out before I knew it and really appreciated the great service. Everyone enjoyed their surprise bagels and we loved sampling the different kinds. I'll definitely be back thanks to Dwight and the rest of the staff this morning.

My review is in regards to this location in particular. I attempted to go two days in a row, Saturday and Sunday- I realize those are busy days for bagels, but they only had two employees building the orders, and one person on the register. The line was out the door, but no one seemed to be in any sort of hurry to get the orders made in a timely manner. I enjoy Bruegger's Bagels, but both times I walked out and went elsewhere.

I rarely step inside a Bruegger's Bagel. We don't have any in the Chicago Metro area. Today, I believe I found a great breakfast treat. The Chorizo Jack bagel sandwich I had for breakfast was delicious! It comes with fresh cracked egg, a chorizo sausage patty, jalapeno creme cheese, served on a guajillo bagel. Are you kidding me? This breakfast item ROCKS! By the way, great service and comfortable ambiance.

I like Brueggers only because it's a very quick and cheap breakfast when you are in a hurry. I am kind of disappointed because I'm pretty picky when it comes to how toasted my bagel is and here it's almost never toasted, even when I asked for it to be ran through the toaster twice it comes to me luke warm. I also decided that I don't really like the bagel flavors. I like loud flavors but I haven't found my go to favorite bagel here. I'm sure I'll keep trying because it's too convenient and cost effective for a quick breakfast.

Brueggers is the closest thing I've found to a good ol' New York bagel. The bagels are perfectly done, with a crisp exterior that's not too "done" with a soft, chewy inside. They're fresh and are great stand alone or as part of one of the several tasty sandwich options available. This location gets busy on the weekends, which becomes the only down side. Although they handle the crowd well and the line moves pretty quickly, seating can pack up fast, which is a little lame.

Bagels, Bagels, Bagels, I Love Bagels! Seriousely though... to that sundried tomato-licious bastard behind the counter...why must you taunt me?

So I love bagels, and normally I love Bruegger's Bagels. At most locations, the workers can handle the cut bagel, put toppings on bagel, put bagel back together routine. Not that hard, right? Don't know if this location's applicant pool is directly from the "High School Drop Out Association" or if they get some type of government subsidy for hiring kids on parole. Either way, something funky is going on here. The last three times I went to this Bruegger's, I wanted a large dark roast coffee. Every single bleeping time, the worker starts to fill it up only to realize the coffee pot is empty. They unapologetically say "we are out of this kind, but we have other flavors." I look at the options and cringe a little bit at the thought of drinking "french toast" or "pumpkin" coffee. So, I leave. I went on a Bruegger's strike for a month because I was fed up. But, I live less than a block away, so I caved on a cold Minnesnowta day. I got my bagel (the bagels are still great), and ordered my coffee, saying "I'll have a large dark roast, but are you sure there is coffee in the pot?" She assured me there was. Girl starts to pour, and there wasn't any coffee. I give up.

They were out of almost everything we wanted. The bacon and blue cheese melt had very little cheese, so it shouldn't be a melt. Couldn't taste the Bleu cheese at all.

I don't know what they give their employees in the morning- but it definitely works. Everyone is so friendly here- I love it. Even when I'm looking hungover as hell, mismatched socks and slobby clothes they treat me like a KING. Otherwise it's just like all other Brueggers. Not NYC bagels, but still good (and semi hangover curable). Bagel sandwiches FTW.

The food was delicious as always. ... once I got it! It seems the staff was more interested in talking to the worker from the coffee shop next door than helping the line if customers. Even the store manager was apologizing for the wait. Job or social hour? Maybe the employees should decide.

I really like the GM of this place. He's a friendly guy and provides great service, which doesn't always happen at fast food restaurants. I must say, however, that the other staff members aren't always so eager to help. I'm not a huge bagel eater, but the salads and soups suffice if you're in a time crunch. There's a tiny bit of parking out front, parking out back and street parking, pretty amazing to have that much to offer for the neighborhood.

Always a guilty pleasure - if you are a fan of cream cheese (and bagels I suppose) be adventurous and try something other than plain. The olive and pimento on a rosemary and olive oil bagel is by far the best you can combine. Great coffee , fun atmosphere - grab a coffee and breakfast and you are only five minutes from the lake!

The guy at the counter, Phil, was AWESOME! His customer service was top notch. He allowed me to get my bagel toasted and topped exacty how I wanted it and was very friendly. If I lived in the area that customer experience alone would have me coming back time and time again.
