Either way, something funky is going on here. The last three times I went to this Bruegger's, I wanted a large dark roast coffee. Every single bleeping time, the worker starts to fill it up only to realize the coffee pot is empty. They unapologetically say "we are out of this kind, but we have other flavors." I look at the options and cringe a little bit at the thought of drinking "french toast" or "pumpkin" coffee. So, I leave. I went on a Bruegger's strike for a month because I was fed up. But, I live less than a block away, so I caved on a cold Minnesnowta day. I got my bagel (the bagels are still great), and ordered my coffee, saying "I'll have a large dark roast, but are you sure there is coffee in the pot?" She assured me there was. Girl starts to pour, and there wasn't any coffee. I give up.

I must say, however, that the other staff members aren't always so eager to help. I'm not a huge bagel eater, but the salads and soups suffice if you're in a time crunch. There's a tiny bit of parking out front, parking out back and street parking, pretty amazing to have that much to offer for the neighborhood.

The olive and pimento on a rosemary and olive oil bagel is by far the best you can combine. Great coffee , fun atmosphere - grab a coffee and breakfast and you are only five minutes from the lake!
